The woman who was working was very kind, answered all our questions, and gave us recommendations! The large entrees came with 2 sides which were the Mac n Cheese and the Cabbage and the meat is served over rice and beans. The small entrees came with 1 side which was the Cabbage (meat also served over rice and beans). I absolutely loved both meats I tried. The Fricassee Chicken had both juicy and some slightly tougher spots but was overall very flavorful. It came with bell peppers which brought a nice bright crunch to the heavier meal. The Curry Chicken was also very flavorful and saucy. For the sides: Personally, I'm not a mac and cheese fan but this was soo good. I highly recommend getting the large; great portion size and definitely can fill you up for 2 meals easily. I loved trying a bit of everything together - the chicken, the mac and cheese, the sauce, the rice and beans... soo good. I'd recommend you come and support a locally owned business!

The place is clean, spacious, plenty tables to sit. I just picked up some food to go. I did eat the pâté while waiting on my chicken and rice. It was a bit doughy but very flavorful and spicy. I tried the plantains, which were incredibly sweet and probably the best I've ever had. The oxtail was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend getting it; it was so delicious that I even brought a container to take back to Atlanta. The spiked juice they served was quite strong, but it was perfectly balanced with a kick of sweetness. We had the privilege of speaking with the owner, who started the restaurant a couple of years ago. She came to the United States from Jamaica with her family to establish a restaurant and has been working hard to expand its reach and attract more customers.
