One found me a shoe in a size that wasn't even on the floor, another brought a different size to the dressing room, and a third suggested a better way to complete my transaction! Now keep in mind the stuff here is brand name and higher end than, say, a Marshalls, but I still found a ton of good deals. I saw higher end brands like Tory Burch, Birkenstock, Democracy, and more. I got a $200 free people dress for $35! It's now definitely worth checking out and could be dangerous... I got so much stuff!

Staff was made to stand at the entrance to welcome the customers super sweet. So for people who have been to NR it's definitely a couple of notches above TJ Max but the model is similar. So there is section for male, female, kids clothing and shoes. They also have a home section along with jewelry, make up, perfume, sunglasses and handbags. Lots for everyone. This particular one has lots of parking and very centrally located. Prices are fair to the brands they offer. Oh I forgot they also have some snacks right near the check out. One room in the back was filled with an assortment of accessories, like jewelry, hair barrettes, and hats. Incredibly well organized, this shop is like strolling through a fashion museum. Prices were a little higher than expected, and although there were two salesladies in the store, neither of them acknowledged that I was there. That bumped Vintage Marketplace down to three stars. I'd still stop back for a browse though. The window display changes frequently (and, in my opinion, is the most elaborate in Hyde Park), so something new will likely draw me in again.

Remember when that sequin wrap dress went viral? Customers were saying they found it at Aldi for like $14? The same day, I found almost an identical dress at Ross for about $14. It was a beautiful cocktail dress that was flattering for a larger figure. Not to mention, I found some neat dresses and pant suits right after the holidays. I don't mind stocking up if they're less than $15! I also got some winter Calvin Klein sheets that were selling for $80, but I got it for $20. They also had some nice wooden organizational bins that I have seen for way more than the price listed. The store itself is not beautifully laid out nor does it make you feel like you were in a boutique setting, but if you are looking for a good deals and don't want to pay a lot of money, check them out. I have 11 cartridge piercings all of which were done at a tattoo shop. On my 18th birthday a few…read moremonths back I decided I wanted to get another piercing but at Rowan! Licensed nurses doing the piercings and a very aesthetically pleasing environment defiantly drew me in. I got my right side tragus piercing which just a basic charm. When we went to leave it was $130 for this piercing. $130 for one piercing with a basic piece of jewelry is insane pricing. Anyways, the swelling and tenderness of the piercing was normal and I was using the cleaning spray they recommended at checkout which was $20! On day two and three started to notice a lump beneath my ear, soon to find out this grape size lump was my lymph node and my piercing was extremely infected. From my 11 other cartilage piercings and having my thirds on my ear lobes I have never experienced something like this. I made an appt at my Dr office just to be sent to urgent care because there was a cyst inside where the tragus sat. I had to get the cyst trained and was on antibiotics for just over a week from this infection that come to find out after sending a swab to the lab... it was MRSA! I would not recommend Rowan, from the pricing to the multiple people from across other Rowan locations that have had the same outcome as me. Find a good tattoo shop, and stick with the same piercer. Also, I did call and was told I signed a waiver and all they could do was take the piercing out for me. I was so sad but not surprised.

After 7 or so weeks I decided to take her back to pick out new earrings. I had previously consulted with someone online as I was having a difficult time getting the back off of the earring. As I was in the middle of a sentence talking to an employee about this she put a pair of gloves on , walked over to my daughter who was looking at earrings across the store and yanked out of of her earrings. My daughter who had no idea this was going to happen was obviously upset. I tried to calm her down but she was struggling and I really wanted to put an earring back in her ear before it closed but she was scared and incredibly upset as she said her ear was hurting bad and she was afraid it was going to hurt. As I was talking to my daughter trying to calm her down the employee told my daughter she "doesn't have a lot of patience so she needed to sit down". I ended up paying for one of the three sets of earrings putting the other ones back and walking out into the mall, calming her down and putting in the original earring back in her ear. Very disappointed with the way that was handled on her part. We will not be returning

Unfortunately, I think my attempt to repair her thought process was a failure. It was also a bit of a drag when I learned that there is no public restroom. In other WHBM stores, an associate will escort you to the "employee only" bathroom. Especially if it's urgent and they know you don't make it a habit. No biggie. But oh my gosh, they have some to-die-for knits here! Do you ever find yourself watching a well-styled movie or TV show and you're thinking, "that's the outfit I want! It's so effortless and chic." This is exactly the place where you will find those effortless and chic looks. I'd head back in here before sweater season officially arrives to find some truly unique items.
