I wish my review was about their nail service, but I didn't even get that far. I called Lavi Nails this past Friday to make an appointment and I was able to secure one for 1:15. I showed up at around 1:05 and told them I had called and what time I was scheduled for. The lady who was supposed to do my nails allegedly already had an appointment at 1, but put it in the wrong day in their books. She was unavailable as she had just begun doing someone else's nails. However, the only other nail tech said she also had an appointment so she couldn't either. I waited for about 5 minutes as the two of them went back and forth about who's fault this miscommunication was before I just walked out. I was upset that they scheduled me without having availability. However, what really pissed me off was them sitting there to argue with one another rather than simply apologizing for the inconvenience. Clearly horrible customer service and I would never step foot in here again. read more

A fancy place with disgusting customer service, employee refused to give out her name, instead she addressed herself as T, probably because she didn't know what she was doing or what she saw in the picture of the style that was in front of her. She was rude and refused to finish the service because she was told " this is not like the picture I showed you " when she cut the nails shorter than what the costumer wanted. She got mad and nasty, removed the nails and refused to do the service even though the customer agreed to pay the $10 extra. Full set/extentions with 2 colored ombre gel within 52 minutes!! Yes, 52 minutes. Full set usually takes any technicians 2 hours. Okay so I really didn't want to write this review but I just got my nails redone by my normal salon and feel like I should post this. I had a party to go to and my nails were looking terrible, and my normal salon was booked. I called LaVi to see if they had any last minute openings, and they said they were not busy. I guess I should have been suspicious about a salon not being busy on a Friday afternoon, but whatever. I needed my nails done and didn't think they would be terrible. I got my pedicure first and everything was fine. Then my hands were next. I wanted a gel refill, and I wanted to keep the almond shape I had previously. I am also not one to really complain if something goes wrong. So my nails were not almond shape, I can deal with that. They were lumpy as well, I still didn't really complain. I asked for a design, again I'm not picky, I said do any design you want. The lady who took care of me was very sweet, so I didn't mind that her design was very... bad. Then I go to pay and they charge me $75 for the gel refill and regular pedicure (normal polish). Let me be clear about this; my normal salon does not charge more than $55 for a refill for UV gel nails and a regular pedicure. They usually do acrylic nails with gel polish for me and it's $45. So what business does this place have for charging me $75 for sub-par nails? I even looked at the prices before I sat down, I didn't think it would be that much over $50! Whatever, even then I kept my mouth shut. I paid, I left, and I dealt with these nails. Last week I finally got them redone by my regular salon, told them what happened (where they were also shocked that I was so overcharged) and when she shaved down my nail, found that it had grown a fungus under the gel. So, that is why I am now writing this review. This place is overpriced for very below average work. And the work was done so poorly that the gel was not even properly secured to my nail, letting in water where fungus grew. I give 2 stars instead of 1 because of how absolutely sweet the woman who took care of me was. Her personality is what kept me from writing anything until this point. read more

I have been going to Lavi Nails for about a year and it's been ok. Today not so much. My husband and I went to get pedicures together and it took me, my husband sitting next to me, and the technician taking care of him all saying loudly at the same time to the girl taking care of me to stop because she was hurting me. I said stop three times and was completely ignored then all three of us said it together and she finally looked up and said oh she was concentrating so she didn't hear us. So I said maybe you should concentrate on the person you're taking care of because you're hurting me and I said stop. Considering I was getting a gel pedicure and my husband got no polish and my pedicure finished a full 10 minutes before his is ridiculous. What was supposed to be a nice relaxing thing for me and my husband turned out to be stressful and annoying. Very disappointed and expect better. read more

Came here for the first time to get my nails done for a wedding. It's hard to find someone here that speaks English (at least it was on the day that I came) but they seemed to understand what I had wanted so it ended up not really being an issue. I tried gel for the first time and I'm happy to say that nearly a week later, there are no chips. The manicure itself was the same amount of time as a regular manicure and the quality is very good. They also do nail art which is pretty cool because I know that some places refuse to do it. Overall, the place is very clean and they don't use the same tools on everyone (something that I've had a problem with in other places). I actually saw them remove the tools from a sealed package (similar to how they do in the dentist's office). This location has a very airy and luxurious feel to it but the prices are very fair. The gel manicure is $30 plus they charged and extra $5 for the design. A regular manicure is only $12. read more

This was my first experience here and overall I was not happy and would HIGHLY recommend spending your money somewhere else. My nail technician came off as very pushy and passive aggressive. For me getting my nails done is usually very relaxing but at LaVi Nails, it was extremely uncomfortable and stressful. I asked her NOT to cut my cuticles, she insisted she would just "go lightly and clean them up" After I agreed, she plucked my cuticles very hard and my middle finger started to BLEED. I told her to stop and she responded with "I'm almost done" I physically had to pull my hand away and walk over to the sink to wash the blood off my hand. (You can still see the cut on my middle finger, pictured below) At this point I know mistakes happen so I sat back down and let her start the polish. I chose a dark brown color, once she started to do the first two nails it wasn't the color I chose. She insisted it was and said it would be brown after the 3rd coat!! (It was still pink after the third coat, pictured below) I asked her to show me the box so I could compare the color I chose and the color she was using. She became very mad and irritated with me for asking that and said "No, I already started this color" I am not an argumentative person so I let her finish, paid, still tipped her over 20% and left. I will never come back. I understand during COVID businesses are doing their best, hopefully this review will help customers support other local businesses who are actually putting in the time and effort to provide excellent customer service. read more

If I could give less stars I would. My friend and I came in wanting to get pedicures. We were told they were ready to take us right away, but left us waiting for over 20 minutes. When we were about to leave they finally said ok and took us. They filled the tub with COLD water and told us to soak our feet and just left us! Every time we tried to get the attention of an employee they blatantly ignored us! As we start drying our feet and packing to leave, no one says anything. No apology or anything. Salon looks very nice from the outside but has the worst service! SAVE YOUR MONEY for better quatlity I have been to this salon for 3.5 Gel Manicures and 1 pedicure over the past 2-3 months. From the outside the Salson looks nice and sheek, and clean and has the prices to match it's appearence - but I was willing to pay a littel extra for good service. My first two Gel manicures and pedicure were good - they have TONS of colors, just beware of what brands you choose b/c the cheepier, off brands chipped a lot sooner than two weeks. Mind you I've been getting Gel manicures for atleast 3-4 years now and for the most part I have to soak off after two weeks with very minimal chipping. My third Gel Manicure seemed to go alright, they didn't look as polished as I've gotten before but were passable - I got them done at 4pm went home did dishes once and noticed two nails when already chipping and peeling! I went to sleep and woke to 4 nails totally peeled off and in my sheets. The next morning I could literlaly peel ALL the nails of in one peice - NEVER HAVE I SEEN THIS BEFORE. As soon as they opened I called to speak to the Manager (the one guy their), of course my ton of voice was extremly fusturated, I paid $30 + $5 tip, I demanded to come to right in with not appointment as they had to fixed ASAP before I had to go to work. He was very rude and snark on the phone, even saying "well things just happen sometimes and it's just one time, just come and well will see what we can do" - that is not how to run a service business where people are paying good money for your services! They did redo them as soon as I came at not charge after seeing how I was just peeling off the polish. Yesterday I attempt to give them one more try since I did really like the salon and maybe that one was just rare. NOTE: They another large location in graden state plaza and they rotate the nail technicans between the two salons - and there are alot of girls. So being able to make sure you get the same girl everytime with a varrying schedule is hard. This time I went in and saw the two ladies that have done a excellenct job in that past (Anna and Mora -?) and ask for one them but of course the main lady taking apoints at the time (Maria) who wasnt the most pleasant to deal with either, said both ladies where busy so in essence of my time I waited fot the next available - an older Asain woman (as most of the techs are from hispanic background) before I even sat down she laughing saying I do as good as I can if you like you like, if you don't you don't - WHAT!!!! She didn't go get a try with the sanitary packect of used files and such as usual and started filing my nails with a more than used file from her drawer. My nails were fully grown out from my previous Gel manicure - a good .25" and I requested for my nails to get squared off and gave her the length I wanted. The moment she started cutting and filing my nails - I knew this was right. She went eay to short, the nails where uneven, the shaped was totally off and not consisant on the nails as well as it being extremly painful because she filed my side cuticuls to point where I had hang nail that where not there prior. The whole time she faught back and fourth with me as I was trying to direct her for what I wanted, trying to give it chance but all she did was argue that my nails where that shape when she started, she only cut a little bit when I totally saw the opposite and tried to convice me that the nails where even when they are clearly not. She when to take the drill you would use for fake acrylics to buff my nails and I stopped her asking why she was using a normal hand buffer as that would make my nails to thin, she was even more rude and got loud. At that point I go up out my seat and walked out - needless to say NEVER AGAIN! Iwent else where to get it fixed for a cheepier price and better service. read more

Went in once a few weeks ago and the pedicure I got was not great but decided to give them another shot. So I went in for a gel pedicure today, an hour before closing. Waited 20 minutes for a person to be available to do my pedicure. Finally am told by the owner to take a seat at one of the pedicure chairs. Then the woman who is going to do my pedicure has this face like she's pissed that she has to do my toes and proceeds to tell me that she knows they close at 7:30 but she's going to have to do my pedicure fast because she has to go. She looked visibly upset and I'm thinking to myself, who says that? So I declined the service and then she asks me why and tried to change her tune as I'm walking out. I declined again and told her it's ok now she can leave on time since she was so upset. If you are paying for a service, no one wants to be rushed through it, and if time was an issue it should have been communicated when I walked in that they could not provide the service and I would have left, with no hard feelings. I came here right after repel one day just to try it out. This place looks very classy and beautiful in the inside. Very clean. This place ultimately is empty. Absolutely no customers. Everybody was just sitting down waiting for people to come in. I got gel acrylics and white gel toes. I don't think the woman who did my toes did a good job at all. She didn't cut my cuticles or try to shape my toes at all. She did massage my legs though and cleaned them up nice, but overall for the nail itself not good. I then got my nails done. The lady who did my nails I just feel like didn't know how to. I had to ask her about 7 times to straighten out my nails that they were uneven and crooked. They already look like they need a refill three days later. The paint job was blotchy as well. She was very nice though and I genuinely do think she tried her best. I came in three days later telling them about my toes chipping and they accommodated and fixed it for me. I feel like gel shouldn't chip after only a day. I paid $85 total. $40 for my toes and $45 for my nails. Overall I don't recommend this place. I don't think it was worth the money. If you're looking for a very clean place with nice people this is good. Quality wise I don't think it's good. This is just my personal experience. read more

They charged me $60 for a FILL and told me to get the more expensive pink UV gel because it's stronger and will make it last longer....and then the gels literally just started falling apart and breaking off a few days later and they refused to fix them without charging me and said it would be time to get a fill now anyway (even though they pushed me to get the pricier one so it would last "LONGER"). Gels are supposed to last at least three weeks. I have never had a gel set so flimsy and just break apart like it did. I always was intimidated to come here. From the outside, the inside looked gorgeous and way out of my price range. I finally decided to check it out, I was in desperate need of a pedicure. I'm glad I decided to come! It was so pretty inside. I got a pedicure and I enjoyed it, I felt so relaxed and comfortable. I could've fallen asleep in the chair and I really liked that the girl who did my pedicure didn't rush it and she took the time to do it for me. The place was very clean and organized, and it wasn't loud. There was nice music playing in the background, too. The only reason why this review is four stars instead of five, is because I thought when my toes were drying that the girl would've massaged my shoulders and neck for me, like other nail places. I had an appointment today (Friday) for a pink & white gel fill..I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow!! I get there 9:50..salon opens at 10...I'm w my 11yr old daughter...she gets a pedicure..still "my girl" isn't there (now it's 10:17)..I ask the other "nail" girl if I'm in the book, she reply's "yes you are and she should be here"...okay I wait some more, my daughter now is getting a gel manicure...I'm STILL waiting - if my daughter wasn't having her nails done and we weren't going away I would have walked out - finally 10:45 "my girl" walks in w her Starbucks Frap looks and me and proceeds to walk to her station and sits down! Walked in on a Tuesday afternoon for a pedicure without an appointment. They took me right away and the color choices were overwhelming which was great. Place is really clean and big with lots of chairs. They use a new package of tools on every customer. I think I had a new tech.. she did a decent job but seemed afraid to cut my nails too much and a few of the toes are a bit crooked. So my nails ended up being a bit longer than I like and a little sharp around some edges. Not bad overall.. I would try them again for a uv gel fill in just because of the huge amount of colors they have read more

DON'T LET THE PRETTY PLACE FOOL YOU. I went to Lavi Nails one week ago. Since then the clearcoat and color started to rub off the tips and two of my nails chipped. I have had many gel manicures and never had this happen after the first week. I went back to the location to see if they would fix my nails. The lady at the front told me that they could paint another coat over the nails that were rubbed off but won't fix the broken nails because it was my nails that were the problem and not their cheap material. The reason why i get gel manicures is because i don't want to deal with chipped nails after less then a week. Very poor customer service. Will not waste my money there again. read more
