ideal for fans of D&D, tabletop games, and anyone apart of the LGBTQ+ community. . .or just anyone…read morewho wants to play board games with friends over coffee & tea! decorations are medieval-themed, and the lighting gives it a moody atmosphere, especially at night. lots of cute details! seating can be difficult downstairs, they have couches but i feel they could optimize the space better. they allow people to sit upstairs in the rooms meant to be reserved for D&D sessions at times! there's a good selection of tabletop / board games to choose from, and all of them are completely free to play! the drinks are pretty good, i especially like their coffee. milk teas (earl grey latte for example) can be slightly watery, but it's not a dealbreaker. service is good, baristas will sometimes talk with you and are kind. local goods are sold here, candles, stickers, dice, crochet plushies, and more. i'd recommend this place to anyone, but especially people looking for a safe place to be themselves! LGBTQ+ are more than welcome, along with furries, and of course D&D/fantasy fans. we need more places like this in redmond

This place could not be cuter and cozier. The rotation of seasonal foods & drinks never fails to…read morecatch my attention, most recently the deliciously chocolatey s'mores brownie (a limited edition summer treat), but the pasties are also to die for and the shepherd's pie one will just make you feel like you are a hobbit I swear (I demolished that mac and cheese one though, and I am lactose intolerant lol). I have had the charcuterie boards and they are also good, as are the mini pizzas. The staff are friendly and helpful, the interior is both homey and visually interesting, and IME even the patrons are generally chill, awesome people (not to be biased or anything :P). The well kept yet comforting atmosphere and the variety of games available to play for free really help make this my favorite spot in town, and I mean fully my favorite. Also, if you've ever wanted to wear that cosplay, garb or coord out, now is your chance, because they will not bat an eyelash. Just look for the giant skeleton (imo a beloved fixture of the establishment & it wouldn't be the same without him). Considering not only their existence as a hub for community events but also their current ongoing assistance in serving as a dropoff point for fire relief supplies & efforts to rally more donations, I would consider them a pillar of the community and a welcome haven for not only the geeks & nerds of Redmond but for anyone who simply wants to step away from the bustle of life and into a charming and comforting oasis. It is with good reason that this establishment has become somewhat of a home away from home for me, and I hope it will become yours too, because if you're reading this and you haven't been yet, you are indeed missing out and should rectify this tragic oversight immediately :P But no really, go check it out (I hear that Kyle makes awesome drinks, and although I'm not too much of a big drinker myself, my experiences in that realm have been generally good with this establishment).
