I can confirm that the food was just as good as the last time I had it. I arrived a little after 12pm and Jeff Chow helped us. He was so nice about explaining the items on the menu to my partner, saying happy new year to us, and making us feel welcoming because we were his first customers of the day. I ordered the chicken wings with garlic noodles and it didn't disappoint. So much flavor in the garlic noodles and the sauce that comes with it. The fried chicken was amazing as well with the right amount of flavor and crunch on the outside and tenderness on the inside. My hope is that I don't have to wait another six years to come back to Portland, but when I do I'll be visiting Mama Chow's Kitchen again.

I love the crunch, but sometimes they do put a little too much crunch versus other fillings in there. The staff are friendly here and they give you a pretty accurate estimate of your wait time. It was decently spicy and texture was there with the veggies, but I wish there was a way to customize with more spice or vinegar to taste. The bian bian noodles were more flavorful and also spicier.
