It was my first time visiting and I'm thankful I did as I was able to select from a variety of popcorn flavors and combinations. I love how unique and Asian-influenced these combinations are, which made my visit here so eye opening! I'm typically a classic kettle corn type of girl, so I purchased a medium size kettle and I also got the Japanese matcha combo! This one has matcha powder, butter, furikake, and kaki mochi. I can't wait to go back to try the Volcano flavor! I want to highlight the associate, Redie (or Ready, I need to ask for her name spelling again!). She was so incredible patient, generous, and kind. This is a family owned and operated business and I am happy to support this brand. It's also delicious!

That's it. Occasionally I would get the Avalanche flavor popcorn. It's cheesy. But they sure do have a ton a flavors that I would try if I wasn't so basic. This store is unfortunately located on Dillingham Boulevard at Kapalama Plaza. If you didn't know, Dillingham Boulevard is an absolute construction zone with no left turns allowed. But if you take the back roads, you can get into the shopping center pretty much ok. There's usually one person working. They are always friendly. The store itself is simple. You walk in and see the popcorn machine. ON one wall is different types of Chinese crack seeds and dried fruits like mango. On a small wall are nuts and cotton candy. Above that are two monitors with flavors for bubble tea drinks. But again, I only get popcorn. So this review is just for popcorn. I like this location but not the construction in front of the shopping plaza.

They're a small kiosk inside Pearlridge, right next to TJ Maxx. There's usually a few minute wait since the popcorn is made fresh to order and there's only one employee, but it's definitely worth the wait! So far I've only tried the volcano, which is a hurricane mix with kakimochi and furikake. The popcorn is always crisp and evenly buttered with the perfect kakimochi ratio. They have 3 size options - you'll want to get the large because they're so good you could finish half the bag in one sitting. I had a friend try some of my popcorn a few days later and was surprised with how fresh it still tasted! In his words he said it was "to die for" lol.

The popcorn is made fresh constantly, as orders are nonstop. Most times there's a line, but I happily wait for my turn. My favorites are the kimchi and mexican. Although I've had all of them, I like to get the ones I can't make myself. And if the pre-made flavors dont have mochi crunch, you can add for a fee. I think the puffy mochi crunch is a secret menu item. I heard a guy asking for it so I tried it, good but I like the regular one. I did ask the guy when they'd be opening one in Waikiki, he said soon...not sure how soon, but I'll be happy to get some when we stay there.
