This office was recommended by another MD. I am sure Dr. Woll is well qualified. But the staff has no sense of business or can care less! I booked 2 appointments for my family. We filled out our forms before we even showed up. One was at 2:15 pm and another at 2:30 pm. I confirmed with the receptionist the day before that showing up at 2:30 pm is okay. Well, my husband was running behind and tried calling the office to inform them. No one picked up the phone. He got there at 2:40 pm and the staff refused to see them. They wouldn't even take the 1 appt at was scheduled at 2:30 pm. I see why the terrible review on Yelp. Zero compassion. There is no business sense or customer service management skills. Especially, it is our first appt and many physician's office allots 45 mins for first time consult not just 15 mins. Beside, we were assigned to a PA (physician assistant) not even the MD (medical doctor). So get off your high horses and care about your patients. read more

This place is ridiculous, we have been there plenty of times before because my son has Eczema and no issues my son skin got better so we hadn't been there for some time. We take him Back and because he has a flare up and they charged us a "New Patient" fee! April 2023 Not recommended. Staff was nice and office clean. Didn't get to see dr. But told PA handles these cases. Had a skin cancer on my face removed. PA stitched circular incision without reshaping so skin bunched at both ends. Told to return in 2 weeks to remove stitches. But, her stitches didn't hold and in two days the stitches came apart. A plastic surgeon will be cleaning the area and repairing the closure. read more

I adore Shannon. However the office staff leaves MUCH to be desired. After many years of living the staff here and building a relationship with them we WILL NOT RETURN. I should've check the reviews before making an appointment with this office. ( I wonder if the office even reads their reviews...hmmm) I myself have a PPO insurance so I had been looking for a dermatologist near my home. My mom came to town and needed to be seen at a dermatologist that would accept her insurance, they gave us Dr Woll's number, we made an appointment and went in a few times. Even though we requested to be seen by Dr Woll the front office had always a million excuses not to schedule us with the actual Doctor.... at that point it was clear to me that they would not put us on Dr Woll's schedule because of the insurance my mom had, so we had to be seen on by the PA. On her last appointment we had to call to reschedule and the lady who answered actually put us on the schedule to be seen personally by Dr Woll, only to receive a call literally 2 minutes later by a different front office lady telling us that they will be CANCELLING the recently made appointment with Dr Woll because she doesn't see patients with our type of insurance. What??Wow!! Not an " I'm sorry" let us reschedule, straight out just cancelled us. I knew medical offices sometimes do crap like this, they are "providers" for a plan but the doctor itself refuses to see these patients. I just never expected the front office to call and bluntly admit to it. Just not the type of office you want to go, I will continue to look for a QUALITY dermatologist for myself and my mother. I went to another highly regarded dermatologist in the area when I had a terrible rash for a year, going from one steroid to another with nothing but more and more tests and steroids. I was in misery! Then I found Dr. Woll and she was able to correctly diagnose me right away and I started healing immediately after! I have an autoimmune disease that affects the skin with many curious and sometimes unusual skin conditions, but time and time again, she has correctly diagnosed and treated me appropriately right away. This review is strictly about the customer service, or lack there of. This is the second time I've called and have felt as if I was a bother for calling and asking questions. Christine, who answers the phones, has been extremely rude to me both of these times. When I called to make an appointment, she cut me off, and said my account was sent to collections. Mind you, I've NEVER received anything indicating I had a balance. Never received a phone call after I made the payment in full months prior. I don't know what type of business they are running in that office but this is unacceptable. I will now have to go back and review my insurance to make sure they haven't doubled billed being that people have posted reviews stating this has been their experience. Dr. Woll, I highly suggest you provide Christine some coaching/training as she is going to kill your business if she cannot communicate effectively with your patients. I can not believe this business is as successful as it is. I was charged 150$ for a consultation which they had a male come in alone when I was undressed. He did a culture on my foot after explaining my real serious issues he left and then pops in a nurse and a Physicians Assistant who was like a fish out of water who wants me to explain the whole story over again. After not listening to a word I said she says she is prescribing me an antibiotic after the nurse had to tell her how to do her job 3 different times. They actually mis diagnosed me and had I listened to them Id be dead. I've contacted them 3 times about the rx which was never sent to my pharmacy and also regarding my culture. They did neither. No response at all. I want my $150 back they did not provide anything they said they would and are wasting my time. They are very unprofessional and Dr Woll isn't even the doctor there. read more

Worst doctors office experience my husband and I have ever had. On our initial visit we were charged our standard copay only to receive an outrageous letter several months later stating that "our account has been referred to a collection agency" for a couple hundred dollars. When I called Dr. Woll's office to consolidate this claimed debt I was treated as if I intentionally was unwilling to pay and the girl was the rudest ever. Not only was it a waste of my time but a waste of my money going to Dr. Woll as I was misdiagnosed and given the wrong medication. The staff is rude! I personally like Dr. Woll, she's thorough and easy to talk to. Her staff, however, not so much. I was billed for a procedure that should have been covered by my insurance. Now, their billing girl is trying to tell me I never gave them my insurance information. I find that odd, and not true , since that is normally the first thing a doctor's office will ask for. Now, they want me to deal with the unpaid bill and get the insurance to pay them. Otherwise, I can no longer see Dr. Woll until the matter is resolved and they get paid. read more

The service is good, but be prepared to wait for a minimum of 45 minutes. They schedule surgeries through out the day and do not keep in mind their clients who are coming in for a quick check. So if you get stuck behind a surgery, prepare to wait... Ridiculous. Go elsewhere! read more

Took my 9 year old daughter here after several recommendations from friends. I really enjoyed our visit. The office was staff was courteous and inviting. We waited about 10 minutes in the waiting room, then another 10 min in the examination room. When Dr. Woll came in she sat right next to my daughter and really looked at her scalp, which is where she has been having very dry, scaly patches. She was absolutely great with my daughter. Patient, soft spoken, and kind. She gave us samples of a couple different shampoos, and prescriptions. I'm very optimistic that we will get this skin issue under control with Dr Woll's guidance. read more

I called the Montclair location which was then being routed to Glendora, so after going through appointment times for 5 minutes we had to start all over because receptionist never clarified that I was speaking to the Glendora location. I was asked if I'd like to see Dr. Woll or if I'd be ok seeing a PA, and I said Dr. Woll. Of course never got to see Dr. Woll during my appointment. The receptionists were very bland and uninviting. After being a patient for more than 10 years and referring countless friends and my entire family, during my last two visits I have experienced perhaps the worst customer service from any front desk receptionists anywhere, and two different ones. The first was not only rude and indifferent but failed to properly schedule my follow-up appointment, but I only discovered this when I returned two weeks later to have my sutures removed to then be told I wasn't in the system and didn't have an appointment. Thankfully, I had thought to bring my handwritten appt. reminder card with me, but despite this, the receptionist repeatedly continued to say, well you're not in the system....no apology for the inconvenience, no eye contact, just told me I could come in the next day "if I wanted to." Honestly, the interaction left me dumbfounded; we've all experienced poor customer service, but the blatant rudeness and uncaring indifference was something I've never experienced anywhere. I insisted on being seen and I was asked to take a seat. After 30 minutes of waiting (with no one else in the waiting area by the way) and no update or communication from the receptionist, I approached her and asked when she thought I'd actually be seen. Her reply? "There are other patients ahead of you who have an appt." I said, well I do have an appt, and her reply "well you weren't in the system, so we need to fit you in." I then asked if she could give me a rough idea as to when I would actually be called back, and her response to end all responses..... "today." To say I was frustrated by the time I saw Leslie (who I have seen and appreciated her service for years) is an understatement. I could hardly contain my frustration and anger. She assured me that this would be addressed, and I had decided that I would not let a couple of really poor experiences force me to leave a dermatologist I've been very happy with. But I've never thought to pull up Dr. Woll's yelp reviews until today, and was shocked to see the repeated reviews citing the poor service and terrible treatment by front office staff. It's obviously time to find someone new, because I left feeling as if my interactions were an exception that would be dealt with, but clearly this type of poor service and treatment is an ongoing issue that is not being addressed, but even worse, tolerated. I've always received quality care from Leslie, Shannon, and Dr. Woll herself, and confidently have referred my entire family and numerous friends over the years, and it's beyond disappointing that this type of behavior is tolerated from the people who are responsible for being the "face" of this business and interacting with patients and potential patients directly. Interestingly, I also noticed that there are no responses posted to any of these reviews (positive or negative) but I hope at some point, Dr. Woll will try to determine why her business is being affected and why her overall patient count is likely declining, because everything she needs to know and everything that needs to be fixed is outlined repeatedly in these reviews. Given my last two interactions and after reading these other reviews, I'm not confident she's even aware or even cares. Great physicians and great medical care, that's been completely ruined by the worst service I've ever encountered, and even worse, this is apparently acceptable. read more

I've had doctors before that were just not thorough. Then I found Dr. Woll! My experience with her has been incredible! I was told by my previous doctor to "not worry" about a mole...that I was being "paranoid" since I had recently had breast cancer. But Dr. Woll insisted on doing a biopsy...and it came back stage 2 malignant melanoma!! Thank God I came to Dr. Woll! That was over two years ago and she continues to be consistent in taking care of me. Scheduling appointments is easy. I never wait long. But most importantly, I don't worry because I know she is completely on top of my healthcare!! With a large family history of cancer...I know I'm getting the best care with her! I had a 9.30am appointment this morning to have stitches removed. I arrived at 9.28am. I waited in the lobby for a 1/2 hour. At 10am I felt my time had been intruded on enough and I inquired about making another appointment. Possibly at a time when I would not have to wait for a 1/2 hour . The office girl gave me an appointment seven days later at 9am. She said I wouldn't have to wait at 9am because it's the first appointment. This begs the question....how does the staff get a half hour behind schedule when the office has only been open for a half hour? Ridiculous!! My minor daughter had discoloration on her neck so I scheduled an appointment to see Dr. Woll. When I arrived at my appointment, we were seen by a physicians assistant (PA). Dr. Woll was not even on site. The PA recommended a biopsy, which required removal of tissue and sutures. A biopsy seemed a bit extreme to me, so I asked the PA some questions. The PA was rude and discourteous. The PA lacked confidence in her ability to see patients. I couldn't believe Dr. Woll had left her practice to a PA. I declined treatment from Dr. Wolls office and sought a second opinion with the City of Hope. My daughters skin condition was visually diagnosed as a fungus. The fungus was treated with a topical ointment. No biopsy required. If you care about your health, my suggestion is you schedule an appointment with a doctor not one practices to be one. read more
