From the 1st visit I was impressed at the time Dr.Wang takes to pin point the type of treatment that would benefit me, and yet accomplish the patient's needs. What struck me also, wast that Dr. Wang does not push for unnecessary procedures that can be costly even though I thought I needed it. His honesty is so important and makes me feel he truly is about individualized care and creates a plan for future suggestions that could benefit my needs. Dr. Wang is excellent. However, I also believe the front desk experience is a very important part of any medical practice. I was disappointed with my experience with Mariana at the front desk. She initially told me she was ready to take me in, so I stood nearby and waited. While I was waiting, something seemed to come up and she was speaking quietly with another coworker. I completely understand that unexpected things can happen. After waiting for a while, I finally asked her for an update. Her response felt impatient, and she told me she couldn't take me in because the doctor was still with another patient. I had no problem waiting, but I would have appreciated being told that rather than being left standing there expecting to be taken in. What bothered me more was that once a room became available, she called another person in ahead of me, even though that person was still completing their paperwork while I had already finished mine. For me, the bigger issue is professionalism. Front desk staff are often the first point of contact with patients, and I expect patients to be treated with courtesy, consistency, and professionalism regardless of personal feelings or preferences. Staff should not use the small amount of discretion they have--such as deciding who is called in first--in a way that makes a patient feel singled out or dismissed. Unfortunately, after waiting for so long without a clear update, and then seeing another patient taken in ahead of me, I could no longer continue waiting and had to leave without being seen. That is what made this experience particularly disappointing. After being cut off by Natalie when trying to book an RF appointment over the phone initially, I then went through the online process for appointments specifically requesting 5pm. I received emails from Natalie wanting to book early afternoon, with my last email being I wanted to book the 5pm. Assuming the online process and the emails booked my appt, I left work early to make it on time to the Glendora office. Upon arriving, both receptionists looked confused and told me the RN left early, when I mentioned I had emailed confirming to book my 5pm appointment one receptionist asked who i had been in correspondence with and when I said "Natalie", she instantly stood up and said "I'm sorry? I don't remember" and walked away. The other receptionist proceeded to help me book another appointment for the following week. Later that evening, I received an email from Natalie apologized but basically shifted blame that she never received a response from me wanting to confirm and that she was glad it ended up working out for me. It did not, because I would then have to take even more time off to make it to a second appointment. She ended her message with a request to call the office to discuss a "$150" payment. I responded forwarding my email re: confirming for 5pm, I included how the only reason I was able to reschedule was through her associate AFTER she walked away cowardly, and that I would be calling to cancel or reschedule. I ended up canceling my appointment because it really left a bad impression and I won't want to have services through this office if this is how they're represented through their receptionist. read more

They are so great here! First of all, the medical assistants at the front desk are so welcoming. They always offer me tea, coffee, water when I come in for an appointment. It's always a kind gesture. I was unsure about certain procedures(like PFP for my eyebags) and had questions; they were friendly enough to answer them and tell me their personal experiences and even shoes me before and after pics to ease any doubts I had (mostly about bruising). Dr. Wang was very helpful and gave me hope about finally getting my scars fixed. He comes off very professional and experienced. The scar revision procedure was super fast and I didn't feel a thing. He prescribed me a pain med just in case I needed it but ultimately there was no pain and no downtime. In fact, I was able to go to a surprise dodger game that same day without any discomfort! Dr. Wang had a gentle touch and he also seems like a pretty chill guy in general. The nurse practitioner, Natalie, is also super friendly and down to earth. She went through my treatment plan and price quotes. She eased any tension I had and gave me tips on how to help the incisions heal more quickly. All in all, pretty good experience at this office! Natalie in the Glendora location has got to be the most unprofessional and rude individual I have ever spoke with in an office. Dr Wang who was the previous owner of Peaches and Cream Day Spa in Glendora was offering redemption of any gift cards purchased during his ownership, due to the fact, he did not leave the card reader for said gift cards. Natalie indicated the only way for me to find out the amount on my gift card was to redeem it for professional services or products. She indicated the only one that could help me with this was administration. I therefore asked her to please give the administrator my telephone number and my name along with my gift card number so that she could provide me the value of said gift card. Natalie said that they would not take any information over the phone identifying the gift card. I indicated it was very difficult for me to get into the location because of my disability. She blatantly told me if I could go to peaches and cream in Glendora. I should be able to go to their Wang cosmetic surgery location in Glendora. I got. I don't understand why she cannot understand how this is difficult for me. Instead she just laughed because I told her I was not able to get in there, and I apparently thought it was funny that I was disabled and unable to physically go into their location and was asking for them to please provide me the dollar amount in my gift card Because I could not afford to purchase anything over there or was in the need of any cosmetic procedure procedures and if the gift card was not that much more than $50 I would just allow pieces and cream to redeem it for me. Never been here at all. Not about the work they do. I'ts about trying to get in to see him!!! It is impossible. So read on: 1 star you ask? I was so happy to find that this place opened up ...in Glendora!!! Most are miles and miles away.....so 1 star is because the Dr is rarely at the Glendora location if ever. I wanted to see the dr..not the RN's there. I wanted the Dr to see me and suggest what is best for me not the RN. I messaged several times with the receptionist, not sure who she was but she was not accommodating at all. I told her I live local, family in Glendora so of course I want to come here. If needed I could pop in on my lunch hour! Pasadena is 1 or 2hrs at anytime the freeways are awful!!! The actual Dr spends most of his time in Pasadena and the nurses are in Glendora, that's fine but I want to see the Dr....not the nurses...the Dr of course has more experience than the nurses do! I hope they bring another Dr on board with the same qualifications and his home office is here in Glendora. They honestly could have cared less that I said well I guess I can't go here. If I saw the Dr by chance...the odds of seeing him again would be months if he only comes to Glendora rarely. I am sure they will answer and say this never happened and that the Dr is there everyday etc etc. Sorry but I was treated very poorly, and I would have been a first time customer. The girl should have sat down with the Dr or called him or something to ask what can he do? I have the messages between us. I felt very dismissed and I finally just said well, guess I cant come here. She should have asked me to hold on, she will check with Dr Wang, she never did. She only said, no appts for Monday for months....really? Thanks for trying. Maybe the dr can put another dr in the Pasadena office and Dr Wang can stay here in Glendora! I asked her for a Monday...even 3mo out and there was nothing available, so chances of seeing the actual Dr are low. Maybe the Dr can put another Dr in Pasadena more often so he can attend to clients in Glendora. read more

I met Rachel a couple years ago when she was working at Peaches and Cream. She does my lips and forehead and she's incredible. When she left that location and started working at the Wang Med Spa in Glendora I followed her, of course. First of all, the spa is absolutely Gorgeous !!
