Lauri's care was EXCELLENT! She listened to what is happening with my body. She asked for feedback as she adjusted touch and location during the massage. She shared her wisdom, education and experience as needed throughout our time together. She gave me self-care instructions to do at home after the session. I highly recommend her!! I am Leah L. writing this on my husband's account. Lauri is amazing! I've been going to her every other week for a deep tissue massage and I always walk out feeling like a different person. Her massage room is very calming and relaxing and she spends time prior to your treatment getting to know what areas you're having trouble with. She's very focused on those areas and I can tell if she's hit a 'spot' I'm having problems with. She'll work them out! I've never felt so comfortable with a masseuse as I do with her. Unfortunately, we are only in Evergreen four months of the year so I will miss her massages until we return. I'll always be a customer! Thank you Lauri! read more

Thank you Lauri ! So glad you are here in Evergreen. I really needed a deep massage after my knee replacement. Working through my strained muscles was just what my knee needed ., I gifted my adult children a gift card and they have both enjoyed their massages. Thanks for your healing touch read more

I went to see Lauri in her new space in Evergreen. The space is very welcoming and had a calming effect on me. Upon sitting down with Lauri, we chatted about how I was doing not just physically, but also mentally. After our discussion, Lauri took the time to customize my treatment based on what I was needing at that time. The massage itself was amazing, but I think the best part was walking out feeling so much more centered due to her integrative approach. Will definitely be going back! read more

First off Lauri was excellent to work with ! I had my first massage with her today and I finally had a break through with her releasing the severe tension in my shoulder and neck. I am recovering from a long term shoulder injury, I have worked with a wide variety of professionals and hands down Lauri has made me feel the most welcomed. I look forward to seeing her again in the near future, and I would highly recommend her to anyone that is seeking pain relief and support. Tyler V. read more

Lauri is incredible. I was really suffering from a leg injury and was in excruciating pain. Though she technically didn't have any available times to offer, she was so empathetic to my needs that she created space. I am so grateful. She is a gifted masseuse, with honed intuitive sense for what your body needs. My only reluctance in sharing this positive review is that it may be more difficult to see her when I am next in need. Thank you Lauri read more

So grateful to have found this transformative body-worker! My daughter and I both received incredibly rejuvanating massages from Lauri. I also felt the blocked tension in my neck shift and dissolve with her cranial sacrum techniques. Don't just treat yourself - make this a regular part of your body care and love. We depend so much on our well being...what great way to maintain and reward it. Thank you Lauri! read more

My husband and I got a massage by Lauri and were both grateful for her quality of care. My husband had a sciatica nerve issue and I had lower back deep ache. Lauri sorted both of us out. She's very thorough - down to addressing hands/fingers and ankles/feet/toes - and knows the amount of pressure to apply to suit each person's needs and preference. Lauri is a professional massage therapist and I would highly recommend her to everyone. read more

LOVED my CST session!!! I've been looking for a Cranial Sacral Therapy practitioner for a while and hadn't found any on our beautiful Truckee area until I found Lauri Glenn. So glad I found her and this work. CST is AMAZING for nervous system care. And giving attention to our nervous systems is amazing for just about everything else!! The session was SO GENTLE, and Lauri creates a very safe comforting space with her very demeanor and her lovely explanations as she does what she does. I wished I had gone for a full 90-minute session to soak up more of the relaxation. I did have the infra-oral points worked on, which was the only part that was any bit uncomfortable. Not painful, just an unfamiliar feeling having points in your mouth worked on (Lauri wears gloves for this portion!). However THE BENEFIT was and still is amazing. I'm a jaw clencher and a tooth grinder, and having Lauri work on releasing my chronic jaw tightness from inside the mouth while simultaneously integrating the jaw into its new movement capabilities was so cool. My jaw felt so much more spacious - sounds weird but try it! You'll totally understand what I'm saying! Since then I've woken up from sleep or meditating (napping? ) with my jaw open and completely relaxed - but not due to congested sinuses or needed mouth breathing. In fact my whole head and sinus area felt super clear after the treatment. Highly recommend Lauri. Her skillset in fostering deep relaxation with CST is worth it alone, and the CST has so many other targeted benefits. Lauri has a great info sheet on CST on her website at https://www.lauriglenn.com/cranial-sacral-therapy/ read more

Lauri is the best!! I've been seeing her bi-monthly for more than a year and she's amazing at what she does. Such a calm and healing spirit with fantastic technique. I feel blessed to have her as my massage therapist. read more

Lauri is a a true professional and know her craft very well. Highly recommende.

I had my first session with Lauri (60 min massage + 15 Reiki) and WOW, the best massage I've had. Lauri was able to thoughtfully focus on my primary impairments, while taking care to address the rest of the body with care to leave me feeling balanced. As a physical therapist by trade, it was evident the level of expertise Lauri brings to the table. I have been curious about Reiki for some time so took this opportunity to experience it, sadly only had scheduled 15 minutes because I'm hooked. The grounding and global calming of the Reiki after massage was icing on the cake! read more

Laurie is absolutely wonderful, and the massage was off the charts! Both my wife and I agreed that Laurie is masterful at finding the knots and working them out. My wife tends to like lighter pressure, and I prefer deeper tissue. We were both beyond pleased and already look forward to my next visit. Very strongly recommend!! :-)) read more

I had the privilege of receiving a massage from Lauri a few days before Ironman Lake Tahoe in September. Over the years, I have had many sports massages and Lauri really stands out as the best! Her setting was very comfortable and inviting and she took the time to listen to what was going on with my body and adjust her technique accordingly. She paid very close attention to what my muscles were doing and checked with me for feedback on the pressure and location during the massage. Her rates are very reasonable and the quality of her work is top notch. The only thing I regret about the massage is not getting a longer one! I highly recommend Bodhi Bodywork. read more

Lauri is an amazing masseuse and does wonders for an aching body. She has helped my wife and I both recover from injuries, providing unbelievable therapeutic massages and also helping us learn to take better care of our bodies. My wife first went to Lauri after knee surgery and she was able to help relieve some of the tension and pain during recovery. We've also gone for "relaxing" massages and basically try to make up an excuse to see Lauri anytime we're in Truckee. I'd highly recommend her! read more

I tried to get a massage with Lauri, but she was booked. I was able to get in with Brooke. I was very pleased. She was very attentive and seemed genuinely interested in getting my issues improved. I did not at all get the sense she was just putting in her time. I was very impressed and hope to return soon! read more

Just finished the intro to Yoga workshop. I'm hooked. Lauri's gentle approach and depth of knowledge made my introduction to the practice such a pleasant experience. My hip pain due to occupational hazard is completely gone. Though I'm a beginner I feel I could walk into a class and enjoy it, even if it was too advanced for me. Knowing my limits and being good with where I'm at. I'm signing up for the Yoga Therapudics workshop next! read more

I met Lauri during a very difficult time in my life. I was recovering from a serious back surgery and in a great deal of pain. After a decade of chronic pain and multiple surgeries I reached rock bottom. We started with reiki and cranial sacral massage. I felt better after every session. Lauri was able to identify my areas of pain and weakness and provide effective treatment. Over time we incorporated traditional massage and yin yoga to my program. Lauri has a comprehensive understanding of the body and mind and how they work together. Her treatments are tailored to your specific needs and she cares deeply for her clients. After working with Lauri I have been able to return to all of the activities I love! The future is so bright and I would not be in this place without Lauri's help. I have worked with many people in the healing community and Lauri has few peers. Whether you are dealing with severe pain or you want to be the best version of yourself go see Lauri. read more

What a great experience! I walked in Bodhi Bodywork with many tight muscles and shoulder pain from various activities and computer work. She really listened and treated those areas but also made sure the over all massage met my goals and some relaxation time during the holidays. Lauri has a gifted touch! I got a 90 minute massage and I did not want it to end! I left feeling energized!

I completed Lauri's 7-week meditation class. I took the class hoping to gain additional tools to deepen my existing meditation practice, which I felt could use a refreshed approach. My hope was fully realized and I have gained additional dimensions and structure to my practice. I also appreciated the fostering of a small and connected community within the class. If you are new to meditating, or highly experienced, I believe you can gain something valuable from Lauri's guidance. read more

I have been going to Lauri for a few months now and can say that she has done an amazing job at keeping my body tuned up for all of the outdoor and gym activities I like to participate in. She really wants to know what is going on with your body and does a great job at addressing the issues each and every time. Her room is extremely clean, organized and tranquil. Even though I mostly go to have my body put back together again after beating it up, she does a great job at of making me feel like I also got a relaxing massage. Highly recommended! read more

In late 2017 I did an intro to yoga with Lauri. Interested in new ways to calm my crazy life with 4 boys and a husband whom is always working away. I loved the course and was amazed at how much energy was needed in basic poses... also learnt a lot about my body - what it was capable of and what it was not. Highly recommend Intro to Yoga at the Rec Center, Truckee. Lauri is a great teacher, calm and approachable. After the course was finished I was not confident enough to enroll in a "mainstream" yoga class and reached out to Lauri about doing a few mindful meditation sessions and poses one to one. Lauri was a great listener to my personal needs and what I wanted to achieve. She set me on a course to be able to find my moment of calm in the crazy world I live in - to get into new poses and a positive mindset. It was a great experience - perfect for people who need more time. I hope to work with her again soon. read more

I had the pleasure of working with Lauri Glenn on a personalized Yoga Therapy plan, 5 sessions, suited to my needs and goals. Lauri does an excellent job of preparing for the sessions, based on in-depth conversations, interview style questions and an evaluation of movement and breath. The result was a practice and yoga therapy plan that I can maintain and follow away from the studio, including breath and meditation practices. Lauri's therapy has vastly improve my physical range of motion, while giving me tools for overall health and wellness. Lauri is a pro, very well equipped as a yoga instructor and therapist but also a teacher and coach. read more
