I explained to her about my injury, the pain, etc.. the massage consisted of her running hot stones all over my body, which was lovely and relaxing but it was just soft motions over my skin. There was no actual massage.. no fingers or hand actually rubbing my muscles, no stretching my legs or arms to loosen them up. My back actually hurt being stuck in the same position for the length of time I had laid there. If you are looking to have warm stones swiped across your body in a very relaxing environment.. this is your place! Very relaxing, very zen. If you are looking to have a massage to help with your muscles, etc.. this is not the best.

I purchased a package from Woodhouse last summer and the front desk staff reiterated SEVERAL times that the package was for 18 months. I am positive I inquired about the expiration multiple times. When I tried to use it recently, I discovered that they expired within 12 months leaving me with several hundred dollars worth of expiring services. It is also impossible to get anyone there to answer the phone. I called 6 times in the last two days to reschedule my appointment and no one answered the phone until my actual appointment time. I still called one last time as a courtesy and what do you know, someone finally answered. I was then told in a rather snooty tone "We've been up front with the phones all day so we would have known if you called." Perhaps they should actually answer the phone if they are up front watching them ring.... I have had a mixed bag of technicians here. Mostly positive experiences, but their staff turns over very frequently and I've also had pretty sub par massages. I hope they turn it around because the facility is beautiful and there really isn't another nice spa on this side of town.
