I explained to her about my injury, the pain, etc.. the massage consisted of her running hot stones all over my body, which was lovely and relaxing but it was just soft motions over my skin. There was no actual massage.. no fingers or hand actually rubbing my muscles, no stretching my legs or arms to loosen them up. My back actually hurt being stuck in the same position for the length of time I had laid there. If you are looking to have warm stones swiped across your body in a very relaxing environment.. this is your place! Very relaxing, very zen. If you are looking to have a massage to help with your muscles, etc.. this is not the best.

After it was over, I did feel balanced and like my overall sense of well-being was intact. If I make it up to Tallgrass again, I would most likely try a different type of massage. Since the new renovation construction has begun there has been a very noticeable decline in up keep…read moreand maintenance of the cardio and free weight areas. It is often the case that six or more pieces of equipment have broken waiting for parts signs for over a month. Many pieces of cybex equipment need pulley adjustments and routine maintenance. The HVAC system seems to be a huge issue since begining construction , it seems to struggle to keep the gym at a comfortable workout temperature, I am there 5 days a week and temps range from 75-78 which is much too warm for vigorous working out. I really struggle with why huge funds are spent on skate parks and 8 pool lanes but no upgrades or expansions to gym areas that are very often over crowded , hot, and outdated,especially the free weight areas. I have gone to the rec center for 15 years but these issues have me thinking of moving on to one of the other options in evergreen L
