I entered though the backdoor and you have to hike upstairs and go down a hallway to find the studio. Tai Chi (Tai Ji) is translated to many definitions it could mean great limit, duality, polar, with polarity revealing opposing features such as hot/cold, up/down, dry/wet, day/night related to Yin and Yang. We could go down the rabbit hole and spend an entire semester reading about Chinese folklore and Tai Chi Quan 太极拳 sometimes refer to as Shadow boxing. But the review is here at PranaTonic. John the instructor was very approachable and welcomed me and introduced all the class members. We had about 6 students in our hour long class. The class is very slow and meditative, Tai Chi focuses on the internal spirit of Qi "energy". This is not an Martial Arts class, it's more about balancing the body and mind. Couple students said they come to Tai Chi to help with arthritis, which supports my belief that energy movement jumpstarts our lymphatic system and promotes blood flow. This studio is a multi use space offering yoga, meditation, and even BJJ Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The office also offers acupuncture. PranaTonic is a great find right in the heart of downtown Golden. Will be back to try more classes!

I didn't feel intimidated at this studio like I have felt at the other chain studios. The place has a clean & peaceful vibe. A quality community theater, they have wonderful seasons, drama camps, improv comedy, educational outreach and Christmas holiday programming. Fun for all. Fun for locals. People up and down the hill from Boulder to Aurora, the beautiful jaunt is worth the drive. The fresh mountain airs and plentiful elk enjoying the out of doors makes the productions echo with the vibr of the area. They have assembled a wonderful crop of actors, crew, volunteers and board of directors bringing joy to the community. Donate, attend productions and support live theatre. You'll be glad you did.

Julie is very careful and doesn't push beyond your limits most of the time. I've trained with her both at her studio and at the rec center. She's good! She's good with TRX, ball, mat, and more.

After moving to Denver I was hopeful that I would be able to connect with a center and I was delighted to find that there is a thriving community here. I was able to quickly locate the available classes, purchase both individual classes, and now a membership. This weekend was an online retreat and I found it easy to attend and follow along. The sound and video were fantastic and the classes started and ended on time, which I greatly appreciate. Now that I've signed up for a monthly membership, I'm looking forward to taking a stroll around the lake to class as weather and pandemic restrictions allow.

It was a great experience. Now I visit when I can. Their downtown space is very cool and peaceful inside, and people are very welcoming. You don't need to bring anything. They have cushions and comfy chairs. I bring a notebook; Kadam Lucy always has something I want to remember. PARKING: People complain about parking downtown, but it's not so bad. There are two parking lots basically next door, so it's not hard to find. The one on Glenarm is $5 for the day except when there's something big going on downtown, and then it's $20. When it's $20, I go to the parking lot behind it (other side of the alley). It'll be $10. But street parking works too. The teachers are aware to keep the class short enough for the meter :-). And Sundays are free parking.

The retreat started off with a class at the Twisted Sister studio, which had a great vibe. The location of the retreat, two hours west of Denver was so breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful. It was an amazing retreat that brought together yoga, healing, and nature in a way that, imho truly nourished my mind, body, and soul in a profound way. Thanks Shelly, Jay, and the crew!
