Tara took the time to talk to me before the treatment then tailored the massage to my needs. She was able to find all my problem areas and work through them with expert precision and technique. It was like getting a massage from an anatomy expert with x-ray vision and magic hands. I got in my car afterward and cried -- both from the stress relief and out of gratitude for having been cared for so thoughtfully. Two other quick things: I like a firm massage and Tara totally delivered. I also appreciate that the business doesn't offer BS treatments, like foot detoxes, which have been thoroughly debunked. I'm already looking forward to my next appointment.

Please read fully because maybe this is what you're looking for but I felt mislead. I hate to leave…read moresuch a bad review but I genuinely feel a bit taken advantage of and if I would have known what I was paying for, I would not have spent almost $200. I got a 75 minute hot stone massage. I read in her page how healing her massages were and I suffer from chronic back pain and an arm injury. A massage typically helps greatly. I explained to her about my injury, the pain, etc.. the massage consisted of her running hot stones all over my body, which was lovely and relaxing but it was just soft motions over my skin. There was no actual massage.. no fingers or hand actually rubbing my muscles, no stretching my legs or arms to loosen them up. My back actually hurt being stuck in the same position for the length of time I had laid there. If you are looking to have warm stones swiped across your body in a very relaxing environment.. this is your place! Very relaxing, very zen. If you are looking to have a massage to help with your muscles, etc.. this is not the best.

Regarding the two-star review, the reviewer did not understand the difference between deep tissue massage and hot stone massage. I have had both from Kim, and the deep tissue uses hands and fingers to really get into my muscle and fascia layers, and the hot stones are used for an overall muscle release.
