Lauren Moshi is a cute store on Robertson Blvd just outside of Beverly Hills. It is located next to The Ivy restaurant. It's in the vicinity of Cedars Sinai Hospital. The brand is Los Angeles based and they sell mostly graphic tees, sweats and dresses. It's a bit pricey but the items are high quality, soft, and long lasting. Definitely cool and artsy statement pieces to have in your wardrobe. I find their oversized sweatshirts to be very cozy, flattering, and downright adorable. Service is always top notch and the store is clean and well organized. They have an online presence at Laurenmoshi.com where you can find many items for sale that are not in the store as well as more sizing options. They also have a loyalty rewards program. I purchased the McKinley X Happy Peace Love for $158.00. I hope I'm allowed to post photos of the inferior quality. I asked for an exchange if I could be guaranteed a better quality tee. The rep from LM could not locate one. I was then provided a return label. I inquired in my em if LM is going to continue to sell the tee for $158.00 now that I brought the defects to their attention. I didn't get an answer to that question. I also purchased the Alana Floral Eye Love - Heather Grey. The fabric is thin for the price but I did keep them. It took prodding but in the end, customer service came through. read more

This store is right next to The Ivy restaurant. It's a very contemporary, upscale store but the items inside are relaxed but fashionable. They're also unique, hand painted gems. I loved what this store had to offer but I did not love the prices. What I especially did not love was the fact that nothing had a price tag on it which is always a sketchy situation. Given their location my guess is I am not their target customer and prices are going to depend on what they think you have. But hey, that's just my opinion which is what reviews are about after all. I give the place a 4 because the merchandise is dope but not a 5 due to missing price tags which can easily lead to price gouging. My daughter wanted to purchase a hat. She was quoted $150 and it wasn't worth it. However, I would have paid $75-90 for it easily. So it just depends on your taste and your willingness to buy without prices being displayed. read more

In April, I spent $950 on various tees and sweatpants. Some of the the shirts were higher quality than others. The tie dye tongue was cheaply made and had tiny holes after 1 wash (no dry). I wrote the company with photos of the tiny holes and a snag in another shirt (it came with a snag in the back). No one replied. I would have been better off blowing the $200 at Free People on an actual Rolling Stones t-shirts. Most of the pants have worn well. I do like the Darby sweatshirts. I understand that pieces will be hit or miss and sometimes an item of questionable quality gets sent. No big deal... as long as someone replies to my feedback/concerns. I don't understand zero response from customer service. If you must order an item, skip the t-shirts. read more

While shopping on Robertson, I came upon a PROTEST outside of this store. I had never heard of the designer before. I was intrigued! They claimed she was appropriating other artists' work and passing it off as her own genuine designs. After a little research, It's pretty obvious some of their shirts and even pants use images or are basically copies with some embellishments. What pissed me off the most, is that inside the store you can buy a lousy T Rex shirt (I'm a huge fan!) for $97! You can buy a better (licensed) one at Amoeba for $20 that doesn't have an entire licensing/rights line printed out under the artwork. So embarrassing. If you are going to buy a knock-off, you may as well go on Wish and pay $5 in stead of $97. There were other bands and fake vintage shirts too, and clothes featuring the hamsa hand at an outrageous price. On a street full of luxury and designer options, it doesn't make sense that a shop full of knock-offs is present. The Lauren Moshi shop is like a slice of Santee Alley plopped in the middle of luxury, like when Payless Shoes tried that fake pop-up in Santa Monica selling their shoes at designer prices. I get the need for fun/funky designs and competing with Kitson, but the quality (and originality) is no different than when Zara or H&M did a Bowie shirt for like 1/5 of the price. read more

Boy am I lucky this store exists! So I took my girlfriend to eat at "The Ivy" next door for our anniversary. Neither of us had been there before, and we were very excited to finally try the famous restaurant. Unfortunately, we were incredibly disappointed in not just the sub par food, but also rude and dismissive staff! On our way out my girlfriend noticed this really fun sweat set in the window of Lauren Moshi. We weren't in the best of spirits due to our experience at dinner, but walking into this store changed everything! The staff was so welcoming/friendly that our moods immediately changed. Justin is amazing. He has impeccable taste and when he recommends something, GET IT! It only took one time for me to learn the hard way, when I went back they were sold out of what he recommended- and to this day I still regret not listening to him. Justin doesn't try to "sell" you things for the sake of commission, he is a creative genius who truly enjoys helping people look and feel their best. I don't have enough nice things to say about Justin. I didn't even really like Lauren Moshi before I met him! But Justin helps me find the things that suit my personal style & I love it. I saw their add on Facebook and I ordered a few sweaters and T-shirts back on 9/4/2020 for a trip I was planning to go in October. I emailed them on 9/16/2020 to follow up and see if I will be receiving the merchandise anytime soon. They apologized and actually credited 20% and assured me that it will get send right away. I called again after a week and explained that I will be leaving town and I wanted the sweaters for my trip. I was told they will fed ex it to me. I got another phone call saying that my order was already mailed. The next day, I got another phone call from Vicki saying that was a mistake and fed ex did not pick up my package. At that point I was leaving on my trip the next day, so I told her to credit me back and not to mail the sweater. 10 days passed and I got back from my trip and noticed no credit. Since then, I have called 3 times and talked to Vicki and another person and every time I have been assured that I am getting the credit. After almost 2 months I lost my patients and called my credit card to dispute the charge. I try not to write any negative reviews but this has been the worse experience I have ever had shopping online and can't believe the customer service I received. read more

Ive kinda stalked this designer for a while... really never looking at the actual website.. just admiring items from a far.. Until I saw the Guns n Roses jacket! Im pretty sure my heart skipped a beat! I live in Huntington Beach so the store is not exactly around the corner. At first I was just going to order it online but I wante to make sure I got the correct size that I needed. Sooooo I hauled my cookies all the way to Beverly Hills where the store is located. Also I need to mention it was pouring rain that day. When I checked the website and I also called the store directly and the recording stated that they were open every day 11-6 as did the website. I arrived at 11:30 and there was a sign on the door that said be back in 5 mins. I waited until 12:30 and still not open... I did peak in the door and saw someone in the store. Needless to say I was a bit annoyed so I called the corporate office and asked if they were going to open or not? The lady on the phone was very apologetic and said "due to an unexpected event the store would be closes until Wednesday" Now even more annoyed I expressed to her that I just drove and hour and a half one way for NOTHING! Also why didnt they put that on their recording or on the website. SOOOO anyway she really went out of her way to make things right. She shipped me two jackets one S and one M with the promise that I would return the one that didint fit. even offered to let me come to the warehouse and try on jacket. I received my package the next day with a return label for the jacket I needed to send back. Although I was pretty miffed at first I feel like she went over and beyond and I will continue to be a customer.... now just let me in the store!! read more
