They have never once been friendly or even in a decent mood when I have come into the store. Actually, it seems that the fact that they need to stand up from a sitting position and waddle one way or the other to the cash register or other part of the store is of the greatest inconvenience to them. Additionally, the conversations, the complaining about other people, customers, home life, etc... save it for when no one is in the store, ladies. No one wants to hear about how someone didn't do the dishes or just generally, how miserable your life is. Be happy you have a job in a small town when you have limited skills, among other things, that would make you unemployable otherwise. That being said, there are a couple of gentlemen who also work here. They are always friendly and give off the vibes that they appreciate your business. They seem to be here in the evening more often, which is the only reason I didn't give a 1 star. Not that it matters, really. So ladies, try to at least act as though you're not a couple of just miserable human beings all the time even though you obviously are. It really sucks that the only other close by option is 7-11...

Stopped in to pick up a cheap styrofoam cooler and some ice - had bought some meat products at a local farmers market which I has not planned on - and wanted to keep the product cold. No dice! Or I should say - they don't carry any coolers - just ice. I picked up some cold bottled water and asked to use the restroom. They directed me around back - turns out it is a Porta Potty/Dons Jon facility - not an actual restroom. They have all the normal convenience store goods here - soda, water, snacks, basic toiletries and supplies. Gas pumps outside. Staff was friendly and apologetic about not having coolers.

Great pizza btw…read more The corner store had a bit of everything - lots of chips (including Route 11), breads, baked goods, candy/fudge, jerky, jams/butters, pickles, prepared foods, great items for a charcuterie board,wine/beer, and produce, etc!! Lots of different offerings and for the most part felt reasonably priced. Great place to pick up a few things and fun to peruse! Tried their cookies and they were delicious! Also had to pick up a bag of Route 11 Dill Pickle Chips. My friend bought a chicken pot pie and a bread that had coffee in it. There were quite a few gluten free offerings in the freezer section too! The staff were super friendly and helpful and everything was very well stocked.
