Thanks to Ms. Chandra, our daughter adapted within 2 weeks of starting daycare. She also did not speak English before starting daycare but now she has no trouble communicating in English with Ms. Chandra and her friends. She has learned all the alphabets, can count in English and Spanish and knows so many rhymes. She can even spell her name, which is pretty amazing for her age. She brings artwork from the daycare almost every day and we have noticed her drawing and coloring skills have improved significantly. Now she is learning to write the alphabets and numbers. We are amazed by Ms. Chandra's passion, energy and ability to care for 8 kids all by herself. Ms. Chandra also provides 3 vegetarian meals each day, which our daughter likes to eat. We feel very lucky to have found Ms. Chandra and cannot thank her enough.

They have an app called Tadpole, but yet the information entered is never correct. They are short-staffed every day and yet most teachers still leave at 4, so unless you can get out of work early to connect and discuss... you simply have no idea what is going on. Kids are constantly placed in rockers and chairs and are left there most of the day. The legal ratio of 3 kids to 1 teacher is rarely followed, in fact, I have seen as many as 10 kids to 2 teachers more times than I can count... We gave them sleep sacks for him to nap in each day, yet they just sat in his cubby. On more than one occasion he was left to sleep in a rocker as he was placed in a room that had no open cribs due to staff shortages... it's just not a good place to leave an infant. We started in January 2024 and there is not a single kid left in the class who was there when we started. To a child, they have all left and gone to other daycares... and now we are too. I wouldn't send my kid here if I were you. We are now 54 days past our last day and have still yet to receive our deposit back from the school. They claim its been mailed, but their by-laws state repayment will be made within 30-45 days and we are well past that... its a joke. Just find a different day care, this place is awful from the top to the bottom.

Our oldest daughter loved her 3 years and Casa and her younger sister couldn't wait to get to Casa. Now their brother is anxiously awaiting his turn. Casa is truly like a family. Our kids have had Mrs. Burkhardt, Mrs. Jones and Ms. Burkhardt and each one of them is a fantastic, caring teacher. Everyone at Casa clearly cares about all of the kids. I appreciate that they have pushed our girls to try harder and tailored their work to what they are interested in. I am always amazed at some of the work that comes home. My first grader is doing some of the same math that I see my 2nd grader bring home from public school. We consider ourselves so lucky to have found Casa. My daughter gets upset when I pick her up "too early" from school so that is how I know we made the right decision. I was extremely nervous because my child wasn't going to be in the care of a family member any longer. When my daughter started, she knew her ABCs, numbers 1-20, shapes and colors. A couple of months later, my daughter was writing, reading and able to sound out words she did not know. She also learned how to count to 100+ and add and subtract! I was actually blown away with all she learned in such a short period of time. In addition, because the class is small each child receives enough 1 on 1 time with the instructor, Ms. Millis. Ms. Millis, is a wonderful teacher. Under her care and teaching, the little ones are not only very well educated they are also taught the love of God. It's a special thing because it keeps children grounded. My daughter absolutely loves Ms. Millis and she respects her a great deal. My child is now an early entrance student and scored 99% in all categories (reading, writing, math) to be accepted to Kindergarten. I'm so proud of my daughter and I am so thankful that we found this school! During the summertime, if the children remain enrolled they go on field trips everyday to places like Aviation Museums, Amusement Parks, Playgrounds, Rollerskating, Bowling, Swimming etc. If you are looking for someone that cares for your child and does extremely well educating children while centering around the Christian faith...You can't go wrong! I think the school is beautiful and does a great job with marketing. However, I noticed that my son did not learn much. They told me that they use the Univ. of Maryland bilingual curriculum. My son did not learn basic numbers or alphabets in spanish,or much else. The center is also located in a professional building. My son had some behavioral challenges his second year there. He was fine the first year. I believe the owner was more focused on the noise level and the "image" of the school. I removed my son and placed him in a small bilingual center. He learned spanish numbers, colors and alphabet within about two months. His current teacher does not have any issues with his behavior and he loves school. Arco staff was friendly and professional, however I am not confident that they are up for the challenges of bilingual education of young children.
