All your meals come with chips and 2 different types of Salsa's.The chips eh.room temperature,should be kept in a auto sham,not in a plastic container.For Quality and taste. The food was just average.I had to put salsa in it.The portion size of their dishes were big. I had mach-aka,is shredded beef and eggs mixed in it.my dish also came with rice and beans.Usually this dish is made with tomatoes,onions and green bell pepper.My dish only had bell pepper.It was lacking taste. My husband and I visited this location to have lunch and breakfast multiple times and I have to say every time we walk in it feels like we are with family. When I was a little girl I used to frequent this place with my parents (like once a week!) and when the menudo was in season my dad always ordered it and the owner always brought it in his copper colored van. Now, there's been a change of ownership but the food is still good and the service is too! I really can't get over the rice and beans, like I live close and I'm glad I have will power to not go there daily . Definitely would make it one of the only spots I'd go to in the area as it's not only delicious but holds a special place in my heart. Plenty of parking as well. 10/2018 update OMG NOTHING HAS CHANGED Benny the cook still works here 30 years after I lived nearby I was his first delivery customer 8801 Tobias panorama City! Outstanding value for your money. We have been coming here for years, and, we actually their first delivery customer. Sadly now I do not go there as often but we were there recently and the food is as good as ever. Diverse menu and you can watch the cooks in action. Not very large but clean and the staff is friendly. The business has been thriving and they recently remodeled, its hard to get a seat during peak hours, always a good sign. read more

I was born and raised in Pacoima and this was a regular spot for us. I moved to Chatsworth 14 years ago and my wife and I continue to make the trip to come enjoy some amazing Mexican Food! My regular dish is he Campechana Mix Al Mojo De Ojo with a dinner salad with Ranch to start. Do yourself a favor and pour the green salsa on the ranch dressing before you have the salad!! The seafood is well prepared and always on point!! My wife has the fish tacos a la carte and raves about them. For the picky kiddos it helps that they have burgers and fries! If it was possible to give no stars, I'd choose that. So where to start. Ordered the two item combo dinner and it was to-go. I chose chicken enchilada and beef taco and it included rice, beans, soup or salad and I chose the soup (albondiga, aka meatball). The soup was warm and the meatballs did not taste, nor look, how they were suppose to as they had this light mushy stuff all over it (not sure what it was). Did not eat it. Next up, was the beef taco - while it looked like a crispy taco, the meat was TOO shredded, meaning it was mushy. The chicken meat was also the same - too shredded and mushy. The enchilada sauce tasted like it came from a can. Rice was dry. Couldn't tell how the beans tasted as it was completely covered in cheese. Didn't finish the plate either. So after spending almost $14 on the meal, it was thrown away. Only thing that was good was the agua de jamaica (Hibiscus juice) as it tasted like all the other standard jamaica drinks. read more
