My husband and I bought a 2020 Ford F250. We had it for one month and 20 days and my husband went to lock it into 4WD to get out of our driveway and going forward 4WD does not work and he almost crashed into our house due to this major malfunction. He took it up to Laura Ford and one of the managers told him they would not fix this issue because we bought the truck as is. However, when there is a major malfunction like that and almost causing an accident, most places would fix this for their customers. The manager stated , " Maybe you should have checked it out before you bought it and took it off the lot." Unfortunatel, , we will never buy from there again. And for that Manager, that statement was not very professional! Also, really good dealership would make sure their trucks are thoroughly inspected and no major malfunctions before people buy them. read more

Wish i could give Laura a .1 star. Although Laura Ford stated that they did an "extensive" inspection of the used vehicle they sold me their mechanic "missed" an actively leaking rack and pinion assembly my home dealership found in a 45 minute multi point inspection. This "miss" cost me $2100 and Laura refuses to do anything about. They claim I should have got a warranty, which wouldn't have covered the issue anyway. I was told via the sale associate that it would be kept in a "secure and safe" facility for it to be shipped to me. Clearly it wasn't and was hit at that facility by a dually. The sales manager has James Russo's best offer was refund my "shipping costs" and "repair" the damage on a 4 mile brand new truck. Pathetic. He also stated in the phone call that "it's fine it won't even show up on the carfax so you don't have to worry about resale" -- Shady. Well, where do I start? The only reason they don't have a lower score is because we can't give them a 0 for a star, having at least 1 star gives them some breathing room. When I got there, I knew the exact SUV I'd be looking at I found it on the Ford lot and there was what looked like a salesman outside smoking, no big deal he was I guess on a break, having been a car salesman before I know what that's like you take them when you can, however you should offer to help, he did not say anything, no big I went inside where all the rest of the sales people were, I was in there for about 5 min., decided to go out and look it over still no one came to the lot to see if I needed any help, so I went back in walked around the entire sales area, still no one ask until I was walking out, I am on my way to the Chevy lot to see if I can find some help, where the finance manager spoke to me right off and pointed me and introduced me to a salesman, Bobby Oliver, who said that "paying sticker was quicker" odd but I guess that's the new saying I guess. And his sales manager said what would it take for me to buy the car that day. Well show me the car fax! they got the car fax shows an accident, they should have disclosed that, but anyway, so I asked for a discount that didn't even cover their $604 administration fee, which I am sure they gave way less for when they saw it when they gave it their trade value. So, because I am a reasonable man and even finding the same SUV with considerably lower miles for less still would not sell me theirs for their list price without the admin. fee, so I guess "sticker is not quicker". I did at that time let them that if they could not get a lower rate than my bank that is who I would work with, the difference was about 6 points, so I went with my bank, smart right? Well they didn't like that, cause they make money off not by percentage rate that you might qualify for but what they can get you to pay. Anyhow I thought that speaking to some one higher up so, a few days later I spoke to the general manager, who told me that they are an aggressive sales company. My interpretation of that would be that they want to sell a vehicle? it was not, and he went on to say that because I knew someone that worked there and I said something about writing this review that probably wouldn't be good, but why would a G.M. say something threatening like that, why would he even say anything, but what can he do to get a deal like that. I can tell you this I have seen that G.M. at other dealerships and didn't buy from them as well, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL which is probably why his staff is all the same with their UNPROFESSIONALISM, AGRESSIVENESS,AND HIGH PRESSURE SALES TACTICS, AND OF COURSE LETS NOT FORGET, RUDENESS. I gave them many chances to sell me a vehicle a good week before I went shopping, found another same year less mileage and for less money and the sales staff was very helpful and guess what NO ADMEN. FEE all done within an hour and sent me a link to give them a review, which Lauras G.M. would not do after requesting it several times, I did not ask my friend because I did not want to get him involved because I feel like the G.M. threatened their job. I waited a while to write this review. I came from out of state and purchased a F-350 from Laura Ford and the purchase experience was fantastic, one of the best experiences I had. Sadly, it has been overshadowed by the way an issue was handled after the sale or more correctly not handled and completely ignored. Within 3 days after getting home the truck developed an issue and I don't attribute the issue to the dealer but it's how I discovered the truck had bad batteries (tested by another dealer). Normally no big deal a simple warranty replacement right, well the truck had lead acid batteries and I decided that I didn't want those and upgraded the batteries to AGMs out of pocket and turned the oem batteries in as a core charge. Later I learn from my salesman that Laura Ford changed out the batteries the day I came to buy the truck because they were dead, but they didn't disclose that until after I told them the truck had bad batteries. Then I also learned that the truck was supposed to come with AGM batteries so I never should have had to upgrade the batteries. I reached out to the dealer with this information and sent pictures and requested to be compensated for the out-of-pocket purchase since Laura Ford changed the batteries and the wrong ones were installed. The text was ignored, and my phone call was never returned. Basically, they washed their hands of me and went silent $400 worth of batteries. I know people make mistakes it's not that big of a deal just own the mistake and make it right. However, due to the complete lack of communication I can only assume that they stole the batteries and knowingly installed the wrong batteries. I cannot for this reason recommend this dealership. I waited to make this review because the issue was further compounded due to the truck having a parasitic draw that left the vehicle at another dealership for 37 days. It really sucks buying a new vehicle then loosing if for repair after 3 days of ownership. Like I said though I don't blame Laura Ford for the issue with the truck, just the issue with the incorrect batteries. Which would have been an easy fix IMO to a otherwise good experience. At the end of day, I am out $400 for Laura Fords mistake or theft. read more

I just purchased a new 2021 F-150 from these guys. I could not be more happy to have done business with them! Staff is super nice and beyond friendly. I flew in from California to pick up my truck that I had put a deposit on. Cory made everything happen and kept me updated with status of my truck, he also arranged for me to be picked up from the airport. I could not be happier to have done business with them, they were the only dealership out of hundreds that I contacted that was actually offering a discount on the vehicle I purchased and were pretty straight forward about the charges. The moment I arrived at the dealership my truck was ready to go, nice and super clean! I have never meet such a group of gentleman and nice people working on a dealership. Do you always sell cars off the backlot without an inspection? Do you give loaner cars for 7 months while saying you're trying to fix the brake problem? The car has been driven about 2000 miles the last 6 months, which is back and forth to your dealership or to the BMW dealer, to whom which you are placing blame on for not fixing the brake problem. Now you want to laugh and say it was an AS IS CAR! Asked for you to take it back and trade for another vehicle, since this one still has issues, but another laughing matter to you. To say we have been nice and understanding is clearly an understatement because I purchased in July 2023 and you just gave me the car back. Laura Ford is located between Exits 225 and 226 on North Service Road in Sullivan MO. The name is a bit deceptive since Laura also has a Buick/GMC and a Jeep/Chrysler dealership at the same location. Basically it's one huge car lot divided by brand. This company also has a website for each brand, but when it comes to the used car category the same vehicles often show up on all three websites. Covid protocol: Masks are no longer required on the lot or in the sales office. Gender policy: Unknown Vehicles range from brandnew to dealer "specials". The cheapest we could find was well under $10.000, the most expensive we looked at came in at just over $60.000. We were in the market for a reliable second vehicle with low mileage,preferrably a SUV. Our budget was $20.000 or less. After checking the company website we realized that the selection in those categories was a bit underwhelming. Only six vehicles fit all our criteria. After doing a lot of online research we narrowed it down to a 2016 GMC terrain and a 2015 Ford Edge Titanium. There were no sales staff in the lot so my husband went inside to get some information on the cars. He came back out with the keys to the Ford but was told by the sales person (who remained in the office), that we had to make a decision very quickly because that vehicle was slated to go to auction the very next day. He was also told that we had to go to the GMC lot to get the key for the GMC. We looked at the car in detail, and waited for the sales person. Nobody came out to answer questions or assist us in any way in the 15 -20 minutes we were there. My husband finally went back inside to get a dealer plate for a test drive and was asked if we were really interested. Since he didn't quite know how to answer that he left without the plate. We did drive to the GMC lot, but realized that the GMC had cosmetic damage, so we didn't look at it. This was three weeks ago. The Ford Edge is still on their website, only now it's on the Buick/GMC site, not on the Ford site. Overall it seems that this dealership is not all that interested in providing customer service. Being asked if we were interested in buying a car when we are standing on the lot is a bit strange. I will rate this 3-stars for ease of use of their website and the number of vehicles on the lot, but their customer service is clearly one star rating. read more

Ghosted and lied to the second they got my money. I DO NOT RECOMMEND! I'm a nice guy, probably a little too nice. I bought a $27k car with no haggling. Knowing that key fobs are $400 to replace, I asked the salesman (Robert) if the car had 2 keys before purchasing. He said yes - he even pointed to the tag on my key that said "1of 2". On the way out, he said "we can't find the 2nd key, I'll mail it to you this week". I called a week later and he said "I can't find it yet, let me keep looking and call you back". 4 calls and a month later, he tried convincing me he never owed me a second key and I was crazy. 3 unreturned calls to the sales manager later, I'm left with one key and the worst auto customer service of my adult life. Where to start. I was looking for a specific used car for an everyday driver and I found what looked like a great deal online at Laura Ford. I drove an hour to look at the car and liked the low mileage and overall look. It did have some paint chips and scratches and the car was very dirty inside and out. There was soda goo in the cup holders and doors, cereal and other foods under the seats and in the trunk, and a whole bunch of trash under the carpet in the trunk where the spare tire is. I asked them to clean it, wash it and buff the paint. They took the car and brought it back an hour or so later still filthy. I asked them to do it again and again another hour went by and it came back up better but still dirty on the interior. At this point it was getting late and I was ready to just deal with it and take the car. The very next day the rear wheel locked up as I was driving and break fluid was all over the inside of the tire. Had to have it towed home and then call the dealership to have it towed to them. I asked for a reimbursement for my tow bill and at this point I had already written a bad review online. The sales manager said he would only reimburse the tow bill if I took down the review. So I did at the time even though I was very angry about it. They fixed the issue and brought the car back to my house. Now I was feeling very uneasy about the car so the next day I took the car to get safety and emissions inspected even though they do that at the dealership. I was right to worry because it failed safety. I called the dealership and talked to the service department about what it failed for and asked when I could bring it in to be fixed since its illegal for a dealership to sell a vehicle that won't pass inspections. The mechanic argued with me about the fail and told me to just use the paperwork from the dealership saying it passed to go get it licensed. He even went as far as to tell me to go ahead and call Troop C and they would inform me that the part it failed for isnt part of the safety inspection. So I did. I had an officer meet me and inspect the car and call the dealership and inform them that it was a fail. Then when i called the dealership back they agreed to fix the issue. After all this I wrote almost this exact review on google. But it isn't up anymore so they must of had it taken down. Don't buy a vehicle here. read more

We honestly kept waiting for something to go wrong. It was a 2 1/2 hour drive from the house one way but it was worth it.
