Both the incredible staff and the quality of work completed make this a GREAT place to have tinting done. Had my daughters car windows tinted and the car looks incredible! Very professional and personable. Very reasonable prices. I took my 2011 Silverado in to have the windows tinted, and ended up taking all 8 family vehicles to them. I also went back for my Silverado and had a bed topper and chrome step bars installed. Was very amazed at quality products at an inexpensive price. I would recommend them all out. Have not used detail services yet, but seen before and after results. Amazing job on everything Looking forward to a complete detail and ceramic coating on 3 or 4 of my vehicles. They had a special on 4-door vehicles for window tinting: $169 for four windows and back windshield. Midwest tint techs got my business simply because they answered the phone when I called (more than I can say for the other area auto tinting businesses!). They discussed schedule with me and got me on the books the same week: had great communication and had my car back to me the next day (I dropped it off with them). Happy with the work! The tint job was great but the customer service was horrible. I dropped my car off at 10:55am to have the windows tinted and a thin blue line placed on my car yesterday. We asked how long it would take and the guy, I did not notice a name tag, asked how soon we needed it and we said a couple hours since on Facebook I was told it would be around an hour and a half but they would try to get it done faster. (Whoever I chatted with online and the person I dropped it with cannot be the same as the treatment was night and day). Fast forward to around 2:45pm ish. We arrive back at Midwest Tint-Techs to see why no one had called and if my car is ready. We pull up and I go to look at my tint job and from about one car away notice there's something wrong with the stripping on my back passenger window. Upon closer inspection is looks like someone took a straight razor to my car, this car was not damaged other than a small dent and some paint chips when I dropped it off. I just bought this car and wash it every other week and know what dents and dings I have as the car is "brand new to me". I went inside and tell the guy(again no notice of a name but white, maybe 5'9, brown/black hair, brown eyes) that my car is damaged. He immediately drops eye contact and in a ignorant tone says "it was like that when it arrived, everyone in the back commented on it and we had trouble because the window moves back and forth". I can assure you this damage was NOT there when I arrived with my car since we just took my car out the day before and were in and out of it all day on the back passenger side, the car is parked where there's no traffic and we have two very large dogs who would have alerted us to someone being there. A police report was filed due to the property damage so I can make an insurance claim and have my car fixed from either someone in this shop messing it up or someone in the parking lot "trying to break in". Will never recommend this company to anyone ever again as the customer service was beyond horrible. Here's a tip: if a car comes in damaged, take a picture to cover your ass because I know my car wasn't damaged when I dropped her off.. Oh and CALL PEOPLE WHEN IT'S DONE. See you in court. read more

I tried to follow up with them to reschedule via text, I got no response. Fast forward to June of this year, I called their listed phone number a few times and got no answer. I finally got a response from them when I reached out via email. The owner stated that they would not service me due to my prior cancellation, which I was very disappointed to hear. It was almost like they were intentionally not answering my calls, and when I asked if the owner could please reconsider I was yet again ignored! A direct answer or formal disclaimer would have been much appreciated during the time of my initial cancelled appointment so I wouldn't have wasted my time! I was pretty surprised they refused to service to me, as I believed I gave enough notice ahead of time and wanted to reschedule my initial appointment. S*** happens! Sometimes people have to cancel appointments and reschedule. I feel like they didn't communicate any disclaimer/warning about cancellations whatsoever. I hope going forward they alert clients about this policy as it was extremely unprofessional. Or maybe ask for a percentage of the fee as an initial deposit to hold your appointment date? I would have gladly paid it! I'm definitely frustrated with the situation but I'm taking my business elsewhere to a more direct, and professional servicer.
