I've been here 3 times now. I had my old Jeep, new Jeep…read moreand now my old 2003 Accord and they did such a great job on the Jeeps I was happy to see they were still there to do the Honda. I was a little reluctant to get the tint due to the 7 windows I expected it to be crazy expensive. I called them up and the price was very reasonable so I went ahead and had them put upper tint on the windshield for a sun visor. Also I was afraid because the windows an trim are super tight and I had no idea how they could get the tint even and proper in the tight corners. Fear was for nothing cause somehow they perfectly matched the lines and seams. Even the brake light cutout is done perfectly. Not sure how they did it but they did it right. The job took a bit over 3 hours and i know they started right away because they took it right in when I got there. Of course I had made an appointment so there's that. But while 3 hours seems like a long time that what it takes to do it right. Good part to that is that in the area there are stores of almost every kinda in walking distance. And best of all Hacienda is like 15 feet away which is a great place to chill while waiting. So to sum up. Great tint job. Very nice and knowledgeable guys. Accurate time estimate. Told me if anything didn't look right to bring it back and they'll fix it. I know from experience they use good tint so no bubbles or foggy, sticky messes on your window. Will return to this place as first choice and if anyone asks I will happily recommend them. Thanks for outstanding work Will see you on next project!

We had a terrible experience at Tint Crafters. We needed to redo the tint on our Passat. I picked…read moreone of the higher end tints, and paid the extra amount to have them remove the existing tint. First, when I got the car home and started looking more closely at the tint, I noticed that there were tint scraps and some kind of dried up residue in several places throughout the inside and outside of the car. Bits of tint material were stuck to the seats, the trim, and exterior paint. The tint itself seemed installed well enough from what I could tell. What really took the cake, though, was that three days after we got the car back, the headliner adjacent to the rear window started to come off the ceiling. Within two days, the headliner had become completely detached from the ceiling from the back window all the way up to just behind the driver seat. When I confronted Tint Crafters about this, they first claimed no responsibility whatsoever. After explaining that we've never had issues with the headliner until this moment, and pressing on that several times, they finally stated that, yes, the technician had noted that in the process of removing the tint, they had damaged the adhesive that holds the headliner to the ceiling (they use a heat gun to remove the old tint, and that had heated up the adhesive on the headliner and pulled part of it away while removing the old tint). So, they went from claiming they definitely didn't do it to definitely doing it, but not actually accepting responsibility, and instead placing blame on the age of the car, making it still my fault. There was NEVER any mention of the possibility that they would damage the headliner in removing the tint. After continuing to press the matter, the furthest that Tint Crafters would go was covering the material cost of replacing the headliner, with me covering labor. And even that offer was laid on thick with a guilt treatment. I would highly recommend steering clear of this business.

The attention to detail is what I appreciated the most. The install really looks stock, with no exposed wires or parts. They even build a rack for the new amp and placed that behind the seat where it can not be seen. My system is not a "high end" system at all, but to me it sounds great. If you are looking for an upgrade to your car's audio, JML will take care of you. Josh IMO is a very genuine person, and will tell you straight. I have seen him at car shows around town, and he always remembers my name, and is easy to talk to.

We had our Tesla Model S for about a year, and while the sound was good, it certainly wasn't great…read more During our first consultation with Josh, he showed us around his shop - an extremely clean shop with several state-of-the-art tools - and recommended an environmental package. With this, they basically fill the empty space in the doors with a proprietary material that deadens sound and acts as an insulator for the speakers. The effect of this is difficult to describe, but imagine wearing a cheap pair of earbuds. The sound is typically tinny and lacks any fullness. Now imagine pushing those earbuds into your ears so they are fully insulated by your inner ear and a seal is created. Without the sound leaking outside of the ear, the music becomes much richer, the bass comes out; the earbuds begin to sound like a much more expensive pair without buying anything new! This is the same effect the environmental package provides to a car. In addition to making speakers sound their best, having insulation in your doors also helps with road noise on highways and makes the HVAC system work less. This latter point is especially important for electric cars. After the environmental package, we decided to take it one step further and have subwoofers installed. Josh and team put in custom fabrications for the dual 10" subs and amps, hiding them in the well of the trunk. You can't even tell anything was modified until you turn the radio up. The bass is incredible - it's not the overly boomy type that just makes the car shake and draws attention. Rather, JML installs speakers designed for music that deliver a richness and enhance what you listen to rather than dominate it. Overall, we were extremely happy with our experience working with JML - they truly know what they are doing. We researched quite a bit before going to them, and they were the only ones able to work on a Tesla. This shows that they are constantly learning about new technologies and are industry leaders in car enhancements. They are not inexpensive by any means, but in the end, you get what you pay for. Like most of JML's customers, I'm sure we'll be going back to them in the future.
