I have had tint installed on a few cars with ITint. Installation and quality were great. I had PPF installed a few months ago and accidentally scraped a small area on my front quarter panel. I text Tyler about the issue requesting a price to repair. He informed it would all have to be replaced and the "fun" part was actually removing the current PPF. He advised he was away from the office and would text his crew about it. I never heard back and text him again a few days later. That's been a couple weeks ago and still nothing. I have to assume he didn't want the hassle of removing and replacing. That is his prerogative but a simple communication would have been nice if he didn't want the job. read more

Ramona, owner, she was quick with response via email to obtain and appt. I was able to get in fairly quickly for a morning Saturday appt. I dropped car off at 930 and was done in hour. I only needed my 2 front windows tinted to match my factory tint and they did a great job. It's also a lifetime guarantee in case anything happens to it like peeling or bubbling. NOTE: I've waited months to post a review to make sure what I'm posting is the truth and nothing but. Still have the message thread from the owner. (I'll take that back, I just went to take screen shots and Tyler has deleted all his rude comments after de friending me lol) super bummed I didn't screen shot these before to blast the kind of person he came out to be. I guess they can have 1 star since it won't let me give 0. Beyond disappointed with Tyler and Itint. I have trusted I tint with cars in the past, and I never had issues till now. In March I had itint tint my truck, from go I was a little disappointed in the fact they couldn't tint the whole truck like I had asked but just the four main windows. He couldn't do my windshield because they like having two people there to do it, which I totally understand, but was bummed they had my truck and couldn't get everything done. I had the truck back for about a month and my passenger window started to peel up from the bottom. So being a PAYING CUSTOMER, I messaged Tyler the owner about the issue. Tyler has always treated me well, but this time I felt like I was being shamed. "Never had this happen, especially on a Ford" ; "take apart your door, something has to be in your door causing it to rip".. Tyler never balked at claiming to fix it, he actually said he had no problem doing so. But my fucked up window was being put on a back burner and Tyler didn't have any openings or time to fix a shit job that his shop put out. After two weeks of being pushed off and from a customer standpoint, rude messages from him about how his booming business didn't become what it is from him screwing people, why start with me. Tyler showed zero interest in getting his trash tint job off my truck unless I wanted to wait. In my line of work, if I fuck something up, it is a top priority to get it fixed and get it right before I start another job.. that's good business.. Tyler shamed me for saying he should take priority in my truck because he fucked my job up.. I felt so disrespected by Tyler I took my truck to primer tint off Manchester where I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Tyler told me to do what I needed to do, so me going and spending money else where is what I did. Primer actually laughed when I told them this story and said it wasn't the first time they've heard stuff of itint. Primer had my truck finished that afternoon.. they made time to fix a fucked up job Itint did on my truck.. and for those wondering, I've waited a few months to post this because I didn't wanna sham itint if my door was fucking the window up. But turns out I have had zero issues after primer fixed itints trash of a job. It's been smooth sailing for months. Anyways I wouldn't trust itint and Tyler's "boomin business" to touch my cars. Maybe if you drive a lambo he'll make sure you're taken care of, but if you drive some cheap Ford, 40k trucks don't matter when they get fucked up. If you'd like a good job, primer tint did a fabulous job and took the time to fix a trash job. Didn't even care about double paying for a tint job just so I didn't have to deal with itint since they didn't give a fuck about the trash job they did for me. The nice customer friendly approach was NOT enough to win me over. Upon arriving we decided to wait in the lobby area. Once the job was complete about 2 hours later. My 2013 BMW X3 was there, waiting at the door. I found it odd that Tyler the business owner didn't thank me for my business or even say hello. It's not like he was overwhelmingly busy. I paid and then left. Hopped in the car and immediately noticed this residue/film all over the dors and my rear trunk area. I thought, "Really, you don't wipe the car down when you are done!" As I continue to look the car over I know see stains in the fabric surrounding my front windshield area. Again, I am thinking "careless job, equals careless mistakes". I wait it out 24-hours thinking maybe it's wet from the solution used to install the tint. 24-hours later there are still very apparent stains in my upholstery. I call iTint and explain to Ramona my issue. At first she tells me it is wet, -- it's been 24 hours, no it's not. Then she tells me use carpet cleaner. I'm driving a brand new nearly $50,000 car, I am NOT experimenting on stains they created. She then says if I want I can bring it back and they will try to remove it. I agreed, but then after careful decision decided not to return. I did not want them creating larger mess. iTint reminds me off an operation that should be run out of someone's garage. It's a young guy by the name of Tyler and I assume his girlfriend Ramona. I'd spend a little more money, time, etc and find a reputable installer. read more

What you really want to know is what kind of quality work does this shop do, and the answer to that is simple: it's extremely well done. These guys and gals were fantastic from beginning to end. I requested an appointment and quote through their website. I got the appointment time I wanted, and their pricing is competitive with other well-reviewed shops in the area. On appointment day I got a friendly text reminder, and they even texted me directions when I asked. The shop is small, but very clean and professional. They had a small waiting area with a nice size TV for their guests, but I chose to leave the car and have lunch. As promised, about two hours later I received a call my car was done. If I was forced to find a negative thing to say about the experience I'd have to lie, because there's nothing I'd change. read more

Tint job was OK. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give them a 4. They neglected to tell me that they were going to cut a hole in the back window for the 3rd brake light. This would have been nice to know, because I would have told them no. I then talked to them about redoing the rear window and was told $100 to remove the tint and redo or 80 if I remove the tint!!! They said this was a deal because I just had the tint done. I called around and 80 is the standard price for the back window. GREAT DEAL??? Also they knowing left a small section a back window incomplete. They are going to fix it but they knew it was not correct and could have fixed it then and there and did not. Personally I would not take another car to them or recommend them to anyone. read more

My experience here was simply incredible. I have had many tint jobs done before when I had lived in CA, and the customer service and quality that I experienced here getting my windows tinted was simply incredible. The shop owners are a couple and were really nice and helpful as I was having trouble deciding to go with a 35%/5% front back tint or a 35%/20% on my new Hyundai Elantra. I ended up going with the 35%/20% and it looks amazing. The price was simply incredible for what they did, and I could hardly believe it when they told me how much to do the whole car. The Suntek Window tint that they use is high quality and looks just as good if not better than the tinting I have done on my other cars in CA. Overall I had a great experience. Had my car windows tinted here yesterday. When I called to schedule an appointment, she said they didn't have any appointments scheduled for Sunday but would come in to do mine. I said I could wait until during the week so someone wouldn't have to come in just for me. She said it wasn't a problem so I scheduled for 8:00AM. Tyler was waiting when I arrived and was very friendly. He went over the options with me and had me on the road by 9:15. The tint looks great! I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Bait-and-switch shop. I phoned for a quote and lady asked for year of car and model. Based on that information she quote me $169.95. I repeated the service to be rendered, 35% to front and %20 for rear windows for $169.95 to my 1991 car and she confirmed. I went ahead and scheduled for next day. Following day, I took my car in as scheduled. Lady said is your car a 2001? and I said no it's 1991. She said "oh, I thought it was 2001", we'll need to adjust your price and it will take 4 hours. No thanks lady, I don't play your stupid game. I went to Tintmasters and they did it for $160 as promised and took them 90minutes...I waited. And it looks great! "we are glad you took our advice" she says. What a way to save face. You didn't give any advice lady... I was upset with your bait and switch tactic and so I said I'll take it to another shop. "you told us you car was 2001" , "found out it was actually 1991".... who do you think told you the 1991? You calling me a liar too now? lol Anyway, I'm glad you moved away...we in West County only deal with honest people and businesses. read more

Jacki I 100% agree with your review with regards to your unfortunate and most unpleasant experience dealing with the inexperienced business owner Ramona and ITint for that matter. Listen, this past weekend on 02/02/13, I too took my pristine G35 Coupe to have the windows tinted and wasn't greeted by the owner Tyler either. Instead, they had no business whatsoever on this day and I waited nearly 3hrs to have my two side windows and rear window tinted. The job was completely unprofessional & ridiculous. I say this because when I get in my car I noticed sticky water/glue residue on my plastic interior, seats and on the hood and doors of my vehicle. I had just washed, polished and waxed this car the night before so I wasn't happy. I go it and explain to Ramona about this issue and she comes out after I ask her to step outside and see what I'm complaining about only to have her tell me that this is normal and no big deal. Ramona then points out after the installation that the technician who put the tint on the driver window found a noticeable scratch on the glass. She went on to point out that it was written on my invoice as well....AFTER the job was completed. I can tell you that I have owned this car now for many years and know every inch of it and this scratch to my window was caused by complete disrespect and negligence for my vehicle and it wasn't there when I left the car with them that day for my tinting installation. To make matters worse, I was looking in the interior today and noticed a tear in my leather seat behind the passengers seating area that has been in fact ripped by whoever installed the tint on the rear window. This tear is about .25" in length and it just so happens it's the same exact height as an object would be if it were sticking out of a back pocket when exiting or entering the backseat in the coupe. I then called Romana just before writing this post and inquired about doing my truck side windows. I went on to tell her about the issues I have with how they handled my car with ill care and told her that the actual window tint was good on the car even though they caused me to spend over 2hrs labor time to rewash and polish my exterior and interior. It is my opinion that Ramona seemed to not care in the least bit about my unfortunate experience and when I asked her if they would be extra careful with my truck she got very defensive and said "sir you should just take your truck somewhere else". In full disclosure, I actually had no intensions of letting them touch my truck or my buddies Z06 Corvette but simply wanted to see how she handled me the customer which once again was unprofessional and otherwise rude. Whoever is reading this yelp just simply save yourself the heartaches with regards to what both Jakki and I had to through with a simple window tint job and get your windows tinted by a professional shop like Custom Tints in Wentzville, MO who have the experience and respect for customers and their beloved automobiles. :-( read more
