LOVE Laura Clare. We got married June 2012 at Natirar in New Jersey and Laura made everything look magnificent. The chuppah, the entrance ways, escort table, the table-scapes, and the overall aesthetic were much more than we had envisioned and expected. Laura was incredibly helpful at every turn and her warmth and wealth of knowledge made working with her such a pleasure. She's patient and has a high get-it factor. Clearly the proof is in the pudding and the wedding looked beautiful ... her work was spot-on. Beyond the creativity and beautiful work...I want to share one quick anecdote that I think exemplifies the level of service you get with Laura... Leading up to the wedding, Laura took a trip out to our wedding venue with sample candles for a candelabra setup to be used at the wedding, and tested which were more likely to be blown out when the breeze from the AC kicked in. Disappointed with a $50 birthday floral arrangement. Friendly staff. I have been in this local florist shop many times and seen some beautiful floral works produced. However, today I went in to order a $50 birthday arrangement, and was not impressed with the product when I came back to pick it up. When I returned for pick up, I was surprised to see that a $50 + tax arrangement consists of 3 roses, 2 irises, 2 tulips, and some greenery. Though beautiful, it was hardly worth spending the extra money to get an arrangement with no "wow factor." I will be trying a new florist next time! read more

Not only did this Laura Clare not deliver our flowers on the day of our event, but they did not even call or contact us or our venue to let us know there was a problem. We were calling and calling and being ghosted by this business. After our event was over, the owner finally got back to us via email saying the car broke down. Of course things like this happen but we would have happily sent someone to get the flowers since we had many family members attending and the store was a mile away from our venue. They offered us a refund and asked how they could make it up to the bride and we said deliver the flowers the next day. Not only did they say they couldn't because the store was closed on Mondays, but they said they would still charge us half price if we wanted the flowers 2 days after our event. We declined this offer because if the flower arrangements were already made- what difference does it make to deliver them or not? We were never given a straight answer from this business and the lack of communication was unprofessional. We completely understand that emergencies happen but if there was any communication from this florist, this whole situation could have been avoided. read more

That is what I said as I opened the doors to the venue and viewed the creation Laura created in the foyer - then I started to cry when the ballroom doors opened and it absolutely took my breath away!!! It was better then I expected!!!! Our desire was to have a classy and elegant winter wonderland - and that is exactly what she did!!! Pictures will prove it!! Needed a flower delivery. Wanted to keep in $60 range. Was told shop minimum was $100. Asked if I could pay $100 today. Have $60 delivered and pickup something tomorrow (ex cut flowers, what have you). Was told "no that just won't work." Woman who took the call was pleasant and wasn't one making decision. Big mistake. Just opened a business in the area which will have large/ongoing need and an upcoming event with fairly substantial flower/decor budget ($60-$80K). We will not be calling LC. Poor customer support. Help your customers/prospects. Step out of the box. You just never know what you are turning away. read more

I was pointed to Laura Clare by another local florist for a last minute Thanksgiving bouquet. Wow! Upon walking in the store I was completely impressed by how lovely everything is. I was greeted immediately by happy faces despite being near closing time and the night before Thanksgiving. Being a bit overwhelmed by all the incredible options and wanting to stay in budget I was guided around the flowers and pulled a gorgeous bouquet together with the help of two lovely ladies! I am so disappointed with the flowers delivered today. The quality is nothing like the ones I received in the past. I ordered a basket and a small table arrangement (totaling over $300). The hydrangeas are wilting and the roses have brown rolling leaves. For the basket I specifically requested cascading flowers over the side of the basket. There are none, only a couple of leaves that I would not consider cascading and are so sparse they look lost. It looks to me like they ran short of flowers and filler and used old flowers and shorted the filler flowers. I could have done a better job myself with Shoprite flowers. The worst arrangements I have ever received!! I have gotten nicer flowers from TD Flowers or 1800 flowers for much, much, less money!!! Will never use again. read more

Mary D. STUNNING! SIMPLY STUNNING!!! I hosted a rehearsal dinner for 34 where Laura created an amazing room with decor that just blew everyone away. Being the "control freak" that I am & living out of town, I had to turn the reins over to Laura( the best thing I ever did). I explained the look & atmosphere I wanted her to create & she went to work. Laura was very knowledgeable, efficient, professional, & fun to work with. I thought things would become a bit tricky when l decided to change the color scheme 2 weeks prior to the event( I don't recommend this). Laura assured me she could accommodate my request & came up with more fabulous ideas. She created the most magnificent tablescape (one large table for 34) you could ever imagine. The evening felt like we were dining under the stars on an autumn night. The rest of the room was decorated with many candles & autumnal flowers. We recently had a small intimate wedding at Ninety Acres @ Natirar and the event was planned and executed within 5 weeks. We were so thankful that Laura agreed to do our event with short notice; she was so wonderful to work with and could not have been more lovely, helpful and accommodating! In one meeting, she was able to take our limited knowledge of flowers, wedding decor and colors we liked and recommend an entire plan for both our ceremony and reception. We sent her some pictures of styles we liked for the bouquets and traditional garlands and what she pulled together was beyond our expectations.
