If I could give less than 1 star I would. So disappointed! Have worked with this florist for years and had never been as disappointed as I am now. Only once prior was a mistake made, and they remedied the issue quickly. NOT this time! We ordered flowers as a nice gesture to our son's new in-laws. The day after they should have been received I called to raise concern and ask for help. I left a message-- nothing obnoxious-- just asked they call me to help me. Five messages and two and half weeks later-- still no response and no help! Have they closed the business? My credit card was charged and I received a confirming email, but no flowers were ever delivered! So disappointed. The lack of value in customer service just makes this even worse! read more

We ordered Tribute Standing Spray that has to include 12 white roses, 10 lilies, some carnations and arranged with beautiful palm fronds and lush greens accented by white satin ribbon. Instead we got cheapy flowers, only few lilies, awful palm leaves and no roses (not even 1), no white satin ribbon!@!! Seriously? We placed order online from different state because we could attend the funeral, so America's Florist in Bound Brook took advantage of it and made standing spray from cheap flowers without roses, not even one (!) ugh!!! Compare pictures what was ordered and what they made. I feel robbed. PLEASE AVOID SERVICE IF YOU CAN!!! Don't pay for what is not promised!!! Learn my lesson!!! read more

Horrible experience with florist on 3 arrangements for my mother's funeral. Went to person to place the order. Specifically asked for NO CARNATIONS in any of the 3 arrangements and saw staff person write it down. They delivered to the funeral home 3 arrangements all full of CARNATIONS. We had also asked calla lilies, my mom's favorite, to be used and were told by the same staff person that they couldn't work - the stems would get "too mushy". A separately placed order 2 days later to America's Florist by a different family member that asked for calla lilies was honored and they were beautiful, so they must have lucked out and got a "nice" employee - but it begs the question, why the person taking our order lied to us about their use for a similar arrangement. This same staff person was impatient at best, but truly probably more rude, as he had an exasperated look and kept incessantly clicking his pen top while we decided on what to order - even though we weren't in there for more than 20 minutes in total. If I ordered flowers and they weren't as pretty as a book picture because the florist lacked the skills to make it so, that is one thing, but to have an obviously capable and talented florist just disregard what someone wants and orders because they are lazy or indifferent, is inexcusable. I'm not one for writing bad reviews, especially for small business owners, but to be treated poorly when ordering, not get what you ordered, and then told someone will follow up and get no response after 10 days later, then you earned this 1 star. I would not trust America's Florist for any special occasion or for any floral needs. read more

The worst florist company ever! Unprofessional to say the least! Don't waste your time ordering from them as they will end up calling you to cancel your order. They portray themselves as successful, well rounded florist shop that offers more than just flowers. They are MIDDLEMEN, they don't have any real inventory. You are better off placing an order with 1800-Flowers and actually getting what you order. We placed an order for a fruit basket on Sunday, spoke to a rep that confirmed they would deliver on Monday to then receive a call on Monday from the "owner" saying her store in that location is closed on Mondays but she would go above and beyond to deliver the fruits first thing Tuesday. Well, it's Tuesday and we get a call from a man saying they don't offer fruit baskets anymore... umm seriously?! Now I'm a day late and have nothing to send. This place is a joke. Very rude and unprofessional. He even tried blaming me. No sir, you should have a better understanding of what services you offer and promises you make. They deserve negative 5 stars. With this type of customer service or lack there of, I don't see them staying open for very long. Horrible! Make sure to read all reviews! Although owner wants to act like they were trying to be helpful, they were NOT. As a business owner it's their responsibility to update their website and representatives to what services are available. Not call the day of delivery to inform you they are closed and they will MAKE SURE to make delivery the following business day. Not professional! Find another company to fulfill your order. She texted me picture ideas and worked with me to add in small details that my represented group wanted in the arrangement. And kept up with an onslaught of emails that I sent! I placed an order with this company, located them online. To the company's credit, Greta/Owner called me to explain they did not have any connections to any Florists in the area that I needed. That was fine, and I appreciated the quick turn around of the phone call. However, Greta/Owner took a very curt and firm tone with me, when I inquired as to how quickly my money would be refunded., and spoke over me. This was absolutely unnecessary. She took the conversation where I WOULD consider trying to do business again in the future, to where I will NEVER consider conducting business with them. I think this Owner needs to consider making a good business decision to hire a Customer Service Rep, to conduct these calls. My money was refunded immediately. Thank you so much! I'm now left with the nasty tone to the phone call. Unbelievable that an Owner would want to conduct themselves in a manner that would chase away business. The staff is always courteous and friendly and never try to up sell you or steer you towards something you don't want. Every bouquet I've gotten has lasted an incredible amount of time. I missed a call from them at 12:55pm and then they sent me an email at 12:57pm to call. I called and they said there was a glitch in the system and couldn't get my arrangements delivered today. Luckily I found a different place that still had 20min left to order for same day delivery. Never taking a risk with these people again. read more

If I could I would give this business 10 stars, That Florist was Terrible, My husband just stopped at America's Florist to tell them the whole story including that I got only 10 of the dozen I ordered. I used this shop this week for several arrangements to be delivered to a funeral service for a teenager. The customer service was phenomenal--above and beyond--and the arrangements that were delivered were beautiful and fresh. We did mention how another florist in the area refused to deliver to the funeral home the family was using, and they explained the staff at that particular funeral home's location is part-time, so it can be challenging to meet up, but they have never had a problem, and assured us our arrangements would arrive fresh and on time, and they did. Everyone in the store was pleasant and professional, and the woman who worked with us was very helpful, kind and creative. We really appreciated her professionalism and warmth. There were lots of beautiful arrangements already pre made for other occasions, and lots of fresh flowers on display. Will definitely be frequenting them in the future, and recommending them to my friends and coworkers. read more

Two thumbs down! I ordered flowers to be delivered on a special occasion 13 days in advance of the day to be delivered. On the day the flowers were to be delivered I received a refund instead of a delivery. There was no communication to me that there was a problem or letting me know that there would be no delivery. I don't care about the flowers or the money. What was important was that, on that specific day, the gesture of some one walking in that door was the only real importance to me. That gesture is meaningless any other day 364 days a year. The next time I need flowers to make that gesture, I will certainly look for another florist to handle it. I was extremely disappointed in the flower arrangement that was sent on my behalf.  I don't know how to express my disappointment and embarrassment in receiving pictures of the flowers that my family member received.  I spent $87 on the flower arrangement TEV13-6A, pictured below, and instead my family member received a horrible arrangement that could not have cost more than $10 and in no way represented my arrangement of choice.  I am requesting a FULL refund on my order and I will deeply apologize to my aunt who has a true love for flowers for the arrangement that she received.  What a terrible reflection on your service, and disservice to your customers.  Just horrible! read more

I was terribly disappointed in the flowers they did for my Dad's funeral. 5 out of the 5 arrangements were not correct as in two cases they replace roses with carnations, two were pitiful and did not look like the picture we picked out and the last one was not what we asked for. If they could not do the arrangements or get the proper flowers they should have said so on Tuesday for the Friday funeral. My Mother was so upset I had to leave the viewing and call them to give them feedback. I will never use them again. It was truly heartbreaking. read more

Do not use this florist! I ordered a balloon bouquet with a teddy bear for my two year old grandson to be delivered. It was not delivered, and I was not notified of that. When I called customer service to ask about it, the customer service rep was extremely rude. She gave me excuses, and I told her kindly that they were incorrect. She bit my head off and said, "OK, you win!". I was not there to fight and I was extremely calm and she was terribly rude. I will never use this service again, and I would advise everyone else to steer clear of them as well if you value good service. I cannot recommend this place enough! They are excellent!!! I called & ordered flowers to be delivered to my mom on her birthday. The woman was super friendly & helpful. She even gave me a new customer discount of $5, which was nice. Then I found out the day before mom's birthday that she was leaving town for a birthday day trip--yikes! So I quickly called them & told them the situation & even though it was already late afternoon, they offered to deliver it that day so she'd be there to receive them. I was so thankful!!! 15 minutes later, my mom called all excited because they'd just delivered "the most beautiful flowers she'd ever received." She was so happy!! I can't thank America's Florist enough. She emailed me this morning to tell me that the bulk of the flowers lasted over 2 weeks! (Also hinted that she'd like more, lol.) We used America's Florist for our wedding and we could not be happier! We worked with Heather, who was absolutely wonderful and easy to work with. She was very accommodating and really listened to our vision and what we wanted. The church flowers were gorgeous! Instead of tiny displays on pedestals, the flowers were giant displays in baskets and really popped. I had asked for a large, cascading bouquet with a variety of flowers and America's Florist really delivered! I was getting compliments all night! The bridesmaids' bouquets, boutineers, and centerpieces were also just want we wanted. Pricing seemed average based on the 4 florists we originally looked at. I recently ordered flowers for my son for the birth of their first child. That being said, I was very specific as to what he wanted. I called three times to confirm my order for pick up the following morning. When I saw the main arrangement, I immediately saw they substituted a very important flower my son wanted included in the arrangement. I pointed out that I had ordered one sunflower in the arrangement and was told it would not be a problem when ordering. Let me just say they first denied that I even ordered a sunflower (but did find it on my order), then told me I didn't have to take the flowers! (When I was delivering them that morning to my son as a surprise for his wife, which I indicated when I placed the order.) I couldn't believe how dismissive and rude they were - a woman tried to tell me it wasn't a big deal - I said I didn't want a Gerber Daisy, and had they called me to tell me they couldn't fulfill my order, I could have made my own decision- not leaving it up to them. They offered to take off the price of a bud vase and rose but I said forget it. Evidently they don't consider what you order to be what you get. I also found their customer service to be extremely unapologetic and rude. I will not be using them again. PS-Shop Rite saved the day by having beautiful sunflowers available immediately. read more

I'm not always the type of person who knows exactly what I want... but I knew precisely what I wanted for my wedding flowers. I brought in pictures, I met with the owner and showed her pictures and reviewed what I wanted. It wasn't any thing extraordinary... I wanted white roses with dark green leaves where the greenery was. She had me come in for a consultation where she showed me white bouquets that she did... We talked about how I wanted mine to be very crisp white, and the greenery dark green. My flowers were very off-white, and were wilting before the end of my wedding. One of my other vendors told me she was really surprised, as she knew several people who had worked with America's Florist and had incredible bouquets. Unfortunately for me, that wasn't my experience. My first reaction to seeing them was such disappointment, especially since I felt like we had talked so much about what I wanted. Shortly after, I was singing Frozen's "Let it go!" and enjoying my wedding. All that said, I won't use them for things in the future and can't say I recommend using them for your wedding. read more
