I was very disappointed with the floral arrangement that was sent to my Aunt for her 90th birthday. I purchased the premium arrangement shown in the first picture and the second picture is what she received. I'm not questioning the flowers chosen but it is very obvious the size of the arrangement isn't even close. I've lived in Edison all my life and knew you were the place to go, but I don't think I will ever use your florist shop again. I was so embarrassed. read more

We frequent this establishment for special occasions as they always have the freshest flowers around Highland Park and Edison. Knowing their high quality and great customer service, my fiance and I decided to engage in a wedding contract with Mark and Doug. And I must say, Mark and Doug went over and beyond with my wedding arrangement in July!! My first meeting with Mark was nothing less than amazing. He sat me down, showed me some pictures, I showed him my pictures, and we went over everything that I may or may not need so he could give me a quote. Ladies, I must say that flowers are expensive but your money will not be wasted if you work with Mark. He will make sure that your dream wedding will come true! I initially did not have a flower arch BUT after seeing so many amazing photos, I asked him for a second meeting and showed him all the photos of the flower arch styles I loved. Unfortunately, he said he did not have access to the birch arch but could decorate a white arch to look similar to it. I had my final meeting 3 weeks prior to the wedding with Mark. He showed me the BEAUTIFUL tall and short centerpieces and we decided to tweak some colors. AND GUESS WHAT? Mark told me that he acquired a birch arch so I can have my dream wedding look! I must say, he did NOT have to do this but he went out of his way to get this birch arch! If you were hesitating on working with Mark, hesitate no more: he is your guy! Finally, on the day of the wedding, he arrived ON TIME which is crucial!! He delivered the bouquets to us directly. My bouquet was PERFECT! Mark even added the English Garden Roses that I mentioned in passing! The flowers on my cake was gorgeous, bridesmaids bouquets were beautiful, parents' corsages/boutonnieres were on point, and the ARCH! The arch was b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l! It was birch, it was classy, it was beautiful! It was everything I every wanted! From my initial meeting to the post-wedding cleanup, Mark and Doug were phenomenal and I couldn't have asked for a better florists/vendor to help me with my wedding. I forgot to write a review for them back in November 2014. I used this store to do the center pieces and all of our bouquets. This place was wonderful and the owners were great people. They worked with me on the price, and were extremely helpful. I was so lucky to have found them. You have to visit their store. Walking in was such an amazing feeling and such a great ora. A great local flower shop. I have received flowers from here a few times and I have loved them every single time. They once called to tell me I had flowers (total surprise), unfortunately I wouldn't be home until much later in the day and it was a hot hot summer day. The delivery guy suggested I try to get them inside or they would wilt, he was kind enough to set them at my side door in the shade rather than the direct sunlight. They have always been extremely nice when they called to deliver flowers. I recently went into the store to buy a few flowers for special occasions. There was a 15% off sale (not flowers) for their 15th year in HP. There was an adorable pup walking around and I love they allow friendly dogs to come into the store. In the summertime, I love walking by the store because they have a dog rest stop water bowl outside - my dog loves it. The flowers I ordered were beautiful, mind you I walked in and asked for 2 bouquets of flowers. An extra $5 for the vase! It's amazing how beautiful they are on the spot! The decor of the store is lovely. The window display changes with the seasons and holiday's, I love walking by their storefront. They sell tons of different candles, soaps, honey and many more gifts. It's not just a flower shop, you could definitely buy some very nice candles to go along with those flowers you're getting your girlfriend ;) read more

When I got engaged two years ago, I started looking for local florists for my wedding in New Brunswick. After a nice recommendation from a friend, I decided to check out Robert's Florals. Last year, I made an appointment with Mark to talk flowers for our wedding and I knew I came to the right place. Their flower shop is quaint, clean, and modernly decorated. In addition to having flowers, they have knick knacks and cards, some created by local artists. Mark was patient and had great ideas for my wedding vision. I told him my budget and showed a few inspiration photos and he did the rest. Our wedding reception was at Christopher's (inside The Heldrich) in New Brunswick. I chose two-toned pink carnations wrapped with a green leaf in a 4 inch glass cube. We had about 14 tables, one centerpiece per table. They were beautiful! Simple, small, pink, very me. Our spray roses were small pink flowers for the sponsors, readers, and ring/coin bearers. The groomsmen, groom's, father of the bride and father of the groom's boutonniere's were beautiful roses that complemented the bridesmaids and my bouquets. The bridesmaids bouquets were pink roses, lilies, and some greenery. They were just the right size for my ladies, not overly large. My mom's corsage matched my bouquet. Now for my bouquet... It was simple and BEAUTIFUL. White roses, some with a hint of pink around the petals (!) and the perfect size for me. Our bouquets were promptly delivered to my parents' house in Sayreville by Doug himself, just in time for picture taking. We spent around $700 for the centerpieces, bouquets, corsage, spray roses, and boutonnieres. No matter how high or low your budget is, they'll work with it. Though flowers are a small detail in your big day, Robert's Florals will make them memorable and beautiful. Highly recommend for your wedding, special occasion, or just because. read more

I was just here this past Mother's Day, I placed my order for 3 bouquets and when I went to pick them up they looked fine however when I got home I noticed they just stuffed a bunch of green leaves to make the bouquet appear full but then only put in about 6 flowers. Which is not worth at all what I paid for them. read more

This past October my partner and I worked with Robert's Florals for our wedding at Jack's Barn in Oxford, NJ, and they did not disappoint! (Their shop in Highland Park, NJ is adorable, as well. Our approach in planning for florals was rather hands off, so Mark and Doug and their team were guided by a selection of inspiration photos and the end results for our boutonnières, clutches, and all other arrangements were SO lovely! Garden State Customer Service???? I ordered an arrangement from this shop for a relative's birthday. My credit card was charged pronto, but the flowers were never delivered and the shop never contacted me. After both the relative and I contacted the shop, I was told summarily to check my credit card statement in a month for my refund. No birthday present, no apology, no nuthin'. read more

I used Robert's Florals for my wedding and while the flowers were nice they were not what I asked for. However I did love my bouquet and the centerpieces, which is why they earned 3 stars in my book. During our two meetings at Robert's Florals I made it very clear that I dislike roses. Yet my entire cake was covered it roses even though the picture I provided to them did not have a single rose it in. I had asked for my bridesmaids bouquets to be similar to mine (white with pale yellow) just a brighter yellow. Instead I got bright yellow roses (again) with blue hydrangeas. The roses suck out from the hydrangeas and the bouquets not only looked awkward but also started to fall apart before the ceremony due to the way they were constructed. read more

Stopped in here last minute for a bouquet for Moms birthday on my way to her house. I have to agree that the customer service was outstanding and the lady whipped me up something beautiful on the spot with very little input from me. That would be because I don't know anything about flowers. She charged me 30 which I figured to be a fair price but seeing as someone paid 12 for a bouquet probably means I got played a little. Beautiful flower shop. The owners are super nice. I have no idea how to take car of flowers and they walked me through it. There are complementary cards that you can take. I just got 2 roses but their bigger things looked pretty and the place was clean. Parking: parking is a bit tough because it's mostly street parking. But I'm pretty sure if you go down a side street there will be a lot that you could park in and just walk over. read more

Not only were the people who worked there helpful, but they went above and beyond to ensure the freshest and most extravagant arrangements. Beautiful, high end flowers... No cheap stuff here! I called and asked for a "not cheesy" $35 winter bouquet and got a very substantial (bigger than I thought) beautiful arrangement with pine branches, birch twigs, and vivid red flowers. It was the ultimate holiday hostess gift. They have a whole shop full of soaps, candles and high end knick-knacks I might have considered as an add-on too, but they were very pricey additions -- $30 and up. When I walked in a sweet boxer pup came out from the back and walked up to me for a head scratch, then disappeared. I saw her again later next to the door as I turned to leave -- I wasn't getting out of there without another head scratch too cute. read more

Robert's did an incredible job and had very reasonable prices. I had a very specific vision (thanks Pinterest) and Doug and team more than delivered. These are not cookie cutter flowers- Robert's really are artists and made absolutely beautiful bouquets and centerpieces. Extremely disappointed. My son paid an arm and a leg for a wrist corsage of roses and a rose boutonniere for a red themed prom. The reds didn't match, the roses on the wrist corsage were much darker than the boutonniere; I was shocked at the lack of attention to detail. After the prom, my son mentioned that the corsage of his date didn't match her red dress or any of the red flowers at the prom AND that they got darker as the night progressed. In the prom photos, his date looks like she has dead flowers on her wrist, that the flowers were not fresh. This was his fourth and last prom, worst flowers to date. read more

I have been getting flowers for my my wife from these guys for years. I'm always running late so when I come in at the last minute and I need a bouquet done that looks like I spent a half hour picking out the flowers myself, these guys get it done quicker than I've ever seen. The quickness that they can get the job done does not even take away from how beautiful the bouquet actually looks. Purchased a Living Social deal for a Thanksgiving bouquet by Roberts. The bouquet was beautiful, and ample. At the time a special was offered on white roses, so I bought two dozen for another event. The roses were great, and was informed that they lasted a long time! So, I went back again, and ordered another bouquet for a 50th birthday dinner. Just lovely - I will return! The owner is pleasant and knows his stuff - you can show him a picture, tell him what should be different from the picture, and you will end up with exactly what you asked for. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE They don't make deliveries and are liars. Recently someone was sending me flowers and had ordered them to be delivered later in the week. On the delivery date, there were no flowers on my doorstep, no tag on the door (I even checked my neighbors' doors), no sign that any attempt of a delivery was made. The following day we contacted the florist and asked about the flowers and they said they 'tagged' the door. We didn't appreciate being lied to and not being given an apology for their mistake/oversight. The florist made not attempt to remediate the situation. read more

Last week, I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my cousin for her birthday, which was on Monday. My credit card was charged the 61 or so dollars, and I specified a morning delivery preferred. At 1:00 PM on Tuesday, the day after my cousin's birthday and the day they were due to be delivered, I was notified that they were unable to deliver the flowers the day before (the day specified) and that they were unable to do the arrangement from the website! I was never notified of any of this before the delivery date or even on the day of the delivery, so I was unable to make an alternative arrangement. I could not believe that they did not contact me, and my surprise gift was ruined. When I requested they at least give a nicer bouquet due to the inconvenience and poor customer service, they said "we will give a comparable arrangement to the one ordered" with no apology at all or discount or anything. I did not get what I ordered and it was delivered in the evening on Tuesday when I selected Monday morning for a birthday. I was so disappointed and would never go to them again. read more

Outstanding! I live in San Francisco Bay Area and needed flowers sent for a funeral. The person that helped on the phone was extremely helpful and kind and actually had all the details that I didn't have about the funeral location etc. They were kind enough to send me a picture of the arrangement. It was gorgeous and much nicer than I would have expected from most other places for the same money.
