Last week I decided to give them another try, made an appointment for Gel Refill and pedicure. Big mistake. I had an appointment for 1:00 Pm. I was there at 12:50 and they took me right away because no one was there. But when my gel refill for my hand was done, he left me under the dryer and went to do someone else's pedicure, Hello I have pedicure too, After 15 minutes they put me in one of the chair and no water waiting there. I told them the massage not working but no one noticed me. it was ok I wanted my pedicure to be fine to go home. it was already 2:00 pm. some one started doing my pedicure and it was the worse pedicure I have ever got. she messed up the painting on my toes and had to fix it but it was not workin. I had to leave because my husband was waiting for me. I noticed she didn't do a good scrub on my feet either and it is not look like it was done at all. They also charged me more than it should have but I was not concerned about the charge if they had done a good job. NEVER AGAIN to this place. They lost me. please be aware.

This nail place needs work. A lot of it. Came here using a gift certificate my friend got me as a…read moremother day gift. A year late I finally used it. They're always 'busy' and always need appointments made. First of all the manager(guy) who seems like he is anyways, is rude and raised his voice at me. When I sat down to have my shellac pedicure, the lady told me it's an extra $5 to take off my shellac. Now I don't know any nail salons around here that would charge that especially when you have shellac on and getting shellac. Would make sense if I was getting a regular pedicure and I needed to remove my shellac. Anyways then he started raising his voice and saying it's the policy and went on and on. Please. I'm the customer and this store does not value any customers as they are. Obviously. So I guess they leave me no choice but to give them the $5 that they really need. Ladies please stay away from this nail salon. You can find better in the area! Someone needs to tell Jenny that this is not the way to Treat customers.

If i honestly could give her a 0 star, thats what this salon actually deserves to get. Hospitality…read morewise i have no complaints, jenny offered me water which was very sweet, but service wise its horrible. Im not usually a big deal maker, which is why when she messed up my nails, i left with a 10% discount. I thought u know what, ive been here for almost 2hours i just wanna leave. The same night, i could not do anything with my fingers because they were hurting really badly. The lady who did my nails pressed too hard on the nails with the glue. On top of that, glue was stuck to the skin under my nails, so i had to grab something sharp from my cousins house and actually start scraping my skin off the glue. When i was done, the under of my nails were all red and hurting so i thought i should call jenny and let her know what happened. Once ive explained to her what happened she started getting really defensive saying it was all my fault. That i didnt know what i wanted and that im just a thief who doesnt know anything about nails and that this was the first time ive done my nails. I tried explaining to her that this is not the first time and i might not have as much knowledge as she does, but i do know the minimum because ive been doing my nails here and there just in montreal and that this is THE FIRST TIME MY NAILS HURT. She started accusing me that im a thief i take advantage of their services and ask for a refund after. I told her listen jenny i dont want your money back i just want to make my nails better because it hurts and im trying to consult with you to see if theres anything i can do to make it better. She offered me a refund telling me she doesnt want to deal with people like me and i should take my money back and never cal again her store. Im 24 years old, ive been doing my nails 2-3 times a year since probably i was 16, and i can tell you this much, this jenny was very impolite and disrespectful and so far, the worst salong ive ever been. Yes it wasnt expensive, 30$ for gel like hey thats pretty cool, but id rather go pay what i usually do at 45$ and not have to deal with anyone like her. Very very very disapointed. Not to mention my cousin found this place through yelp for a 4.5 out of 5 rating. HORRIBLE.

When raising the question about it, they said they don't have separated system for purchase products and services. Also, there is no one questioned about this before. Well. As a customer, we are happy to tip for the good service, but the tip should not cover any purchased items. I am a bit upset with the unclear charging systems. It is easy to calculate service and products in separated invoices as all the other salons doing.

Our hair dresser is at Toronto, because of the weather, I booked a haircut for my 15 yr old daughter in town this weekend(the woman hair cut price is 89$ + tax + tips). When we arrived, the salon door was closed, customer has to ring the door bell to get in. A woman opened the door and let us in, before we entering 2nd door, she asked us to change our shoes with their store slippers. Because she is afraid our shoes are dirty. There are only two staffs in the shop(guess they are the owners, the woman kept giving us the don't-care-your-business look) and we are the only customers(it is Saturday afternoon at 4:30). My daughter showed this woman the hairstyle she likes, before she siting down, the woman started to complain about my daughter's hoodie, told her not to wear a hoodie next time to visit them, I folded the hoodie inside and tried to help. Finally my daughter allowed sit down, the woman started to exam the hair, asked about if she has dry scalp, then the man came over, he used a hair comb's pointing end to checked her hair avoid any touching by hand. I told them my daughter has dandruff nothing like lice if it's their concern. They asked my daughter to move to a different spot, mentioned they had to check her hair with some chemical stuff. I have NEVER had experience with any hair/nail salons or spas like this, I felt humiliated and couldn't stand the weirdness, we left the shop. I have been living in Aurora over 20 year, my two daughters grew up here, down the road from Kennedy st.. I will make sure to share my experience with everyone around me and my daughters will do the same. Treating your customer like this, you will run out your business very soon!

I have been looking for a new place to have my brows done and decided to come here and try…read more Location was easy to find and in a cute little house in a court yard. Upon entering in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and smile (with the eyes of course) The receptionist escorted me to the waiting area and asked me to have a seat and relax as the esthetician was just finishing up with the previous client. The place was really clean and classy. Very comfortable seating! When the esthetician came, she introduced herself and asked for a couple more minutes to sanitize the area before bringing me up. I felt very informed and appreciated that they were taking into consideration of my time. The room was located upstairs which was kinda cool, but I felt it could have been a bit better. Looked dated but other than that, Stephanie was great! She was super friendly and made you feel comfortable. Really wanted to hear your opinion on the work she had done. Very quick and gentle. Very impressed! Came home and my husband confirmed the brows looked the symmetrical! Well done!

I booked a waxing appointment at this place on 10/25/19 because of all the Google reviews I read…read more(shouldve checked yelp too). The receptionist was friendly. However, I left the place traumatized. I booked a Brazilian. I dont go waxing often only doing it for vacation so it wasn't the first time in my life having waxing appointment. I personally feel the aesthetician isn't sensitive about the customer's(my) need at all. A few things I found uncomfortable. I've never experienced anything like this with other aesthetician. 1.She didn't start my treatment with any communication and didn't confirm what type of Brazilian I wanted. She asked me when was my last time going to a waxing appointment. I told her my last vacation. She told me right away you will be hurting so much because I don't do it regularly. Well, yeah, I know it will hurt.but to start out a treatment with statement like this isn't helping your customer. 2. She asked me to take off my pants. I thought the standard is the aesthetician would give the client a towel and would leave the room and then come back shortly. At least this was what I experienced with other aestheticians before. She just stood there staring at me taking my pants off. This was so strange , she just stood there staring at me. While I was doing so, she made a few rude comments directely to me. Maybe she was older and from a different culture but I felt very uncomfortable. I understand she would see everything eventually but staring at customer taking off her pants in a nice spa? I just never expected this. 3. The aestheticians I experienced before were all sweet and caring. They made sure I felt comfortable especially when it hurt. When I told the aesthetician at this place i was in pain and give me a few seconds for the pain to go away, she started to say " its not my fault , do you know how many times I've done this." "Have you had babies?" If I know how to do it by myself, I would've done it by myself. 2nd, no other aestheticians ever said that to me and made me feel awful that I feel the pain. 3rd, I wasn't there to interview you for the job so I don't care how many times you've done this, especially when I was in pain. What a customer need was some comfort talk and empathy at that moment. I was so traumatized that I actually got up half way and told her to stop the entire treatment. I've never done something like that before. Unfortunately, my experience at this place ended miserably. It seemed like a nice place and I still ended up paying for everything, I didn't just walk out. I would caution anyone who wants a place where you feel welcome and comfortable for waxing. This is NOT the place for you. Wish I could give it zero stars. Even though I paid, I got zero apologies, no comments about how they were sorry I left in the middle of the treatment etc... They could care less. After a week, they replied on my Google review, calling me preposterous and even said I was a racist. The owner's reply showed me clearly where the insensitivity for customer coming from. They even revealed my personal private details of my body on google review. No apologies or phone call directly from the management. Save yourself trouble. Beware of this place. There are many good spas in Aurora.
