I was very surprised to find out later how much I had been charged. $94. My fault because I usually ask everytime I go because Sami doesn't write pricing on his tickets. Usually a simple hem is $20-$25. I took a long dress in for a simple hem and linen pant for hem. I was told later that the dress material was very thin so it cost more and the pant had a small slit on side so I was charged extra for both items. I don't think it is good business to not inform a customer of approximate cost before doing work. Had I known this cost I would have taken elsewhere and/or not done the pant. This tailor is not close to my house but I enjoyed supporting this business. I feel like I was taken advantage of so I won't be going back.

For a $300 pair of pants I plan to wear for years, that's not something I can overlook. I wish the hems had simply been measured before being returned to ensure accuracy. I will have to take them elsewhere to be corrected. I hate leaving a critical review because she truly is a lovely person, but I won't be returning and unfortunately cannot recommend this place. These were cropped, had to be fitted in the bust, and had embroidery and beading...a real nightmare to alter- for most! Mo had me try them on and pinned them and then did some interim work and had me come back in and try them again a day later- based on his initial efforts, it was clear which tops were eventually going to work and which were not worth further effort.
