The washing machine didn't feel like it was closing properly, I feel like water would leak out but it was normal. The dryer was set to cold. I had no idea how it works until another customer told me that it's on cold. (Not the businesses fault but just stating my experience). The area where you fold laundry was bad. The blue folding table has slanted walls, so I accidentally pushed my clothes too far and some of my clothes fell into the trash can behind it. The placement of trash can and the slanted walls was a bad combination.

I arrived at 4:58 PM to drop off my dry cleaning, just before closing. As I approached, the door was being locked. I asked if I could still drop off my items. The employee at the door looked to a coworker, who pointed at the clock. She visibly rolled her eyes, unlocked the door, and walked away without greeting me, no acknowledgment, no basic courtesy. At that point, I chose not to leave my items. It wasn't about the timing, it was the attitude. If your posted hours say you're open until a certain time, customers should not feel like an inconvenience for arriving within that window. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. There's no reason to spend money where you're clearly not welcomed.

However my dryer went out and hasn't…read morebeen replaced yet and well the laundry doesn't stop piling up, so to the dreaded laundry mat I go. However, this wasn't the typical laundry mat. I walked in and was greeted by Adrianna, who I guess from the look on my face knew it was my first time. She explained the different size machines, showed me how they work and suggested I download the app versus putting quarters in the machine (they do accept them and there is a change machine) - so I can get emails and build loyalty points. The app accepted Apple Pay however she did let me know that there were no refunds, so if I loaded $20 and only used $15, I would just have a $5 credit. I drag all my stuff in and get started but unlike other places, the machines provide the detergent (you have options, tide, gain or sensitive tide) as well as color safe bleach. For an extra charge you can request extra for those extra stinky loads. Also on the app you can tell how much time is left on your wash and dry and it gives you an alarm option for a one minute before it stops. Drying was just as easy as they provide the dryer sheets! Seriously folks how many times have you forgotten something and dreaded having to go to the machine and buy it. You don't have to worry about that here. Lots of spots to fold your laundry, they have lots of seating, have a TV and offer free coffee, clean bathrooms, a vending machine for snacks but the one thing that impressed me the most although I'll never utilize was the kids corner!!!! It had child appropriate shows as well as toys so they can play while work gets done. I also saw outlets so you can charge your phone while you are waiting. But wait . . . There's more!!! If you are like me and hate doing laundry, they have a drop off service where they will do it for you!!!! Washed, folded and bagged all for a small fee (check out my picture for current price of this post). Adrianna gets to know her customers and she doesn't allow loitering - which I appreciate because I tend to walk away from my stuff from time to time (yes, I know, stupid), so she's there keeping an eye out for folks. There's plenty of free parking on the backside, as well as an entrance, so you don't have to walk around. And the kicker, I washed 5 loads of laundry (don't judge me), dried them and folded them and was out of there in just over an hour!! So this is now my spot for laundry and I don't feel rushed to replace that dryer, but when I do, I'll still keep coming by for those loads during the summer (iykyk!)

If you forget some supplies or run out, they sell many laundry needs, as well as a variety of drinks & snacks to enjoy while you wait. If they don't have what you are looking for, you can probably find it at the nearby Family Dollar, Dollar Tree, Walgreen's or Kroger. They also have coin dispensers right there. The facilities are clean & well maintained. They provide free internet & a small arcade for the patrons to enjoy while waiting on their laundry. There's a tv, always on news. (Which doesn't bother me, I like to be up to date on current local & national events.) There are a lot of folding tables & laundry carts. Plenty of places to sit. There's a rinsing sink, only gets cold water. The lady that works there is pleasant & helpful. While some of their machines are out of order, it's only some. There is still a very large selection of machines to choose from. They have single loaders top & front load, double loaders, triple loaders, quad loaders & quint loader washing machines. For their dryers they offer single & triple load machines. I go with quite a bit of laundry & bedding, so far I've never had to wait for a machine to be available for use. The prices on all of their machines are very good!

I go every week and they've never lost or damaged anything (ok, maybe one or two ankle socks). For the price and servce, it's outatanding. They have everything folded and ready for pickup within 24 hours. Keep in mind, items are washed in hot H2O and dryers. I seperate loads at home for them. I'm sure they appreciate that. This place has new owners, the previous owners were wonderful and welcoming, the staff remained the…read moresame and are still great employees with great customer service and care, except for one lady who's Venezuelan and always being rude to customers, the new owners and management are not kind, they are rude and make you feel unwanted, the last wash is at 9:30pm and they close at 11:00pm and if you come 10 minutes before or right on the dot at 9:30pm, the owner talks crap to you asking to not come at 9:30, my family and I always finish before 11:00pm and now with this new owner and angel the manager, we are not satisfied anymore with our visits here, we've been coming here for years and will find a new place to wash and do laundry. If the owner doesn't want to close at 11pm, he should simply change his bussiness hours and close early and quit complaining about closing at 11pm or people coming at 9:30pm, when the business sign says, last wash is at 9:30pm. My mom works late and so do the rest of us, and I think it's rude for a business to tell the customers things when they simply are just trying to wash and are following the business hours policies. I Googled "best laundromat in Dallas" and ended up at Lemon Fresh Wash and Dry, a family owned business run by the fabulous Mrs. Pamela. This woman is an angel disguised as a laundromat queen. I came in to do a few loads, got distracted living my life, and completely forgot an entire load in the dryer. Didn't remember until after they closed. I called the next morning prepared to grovel, but Pamela just laughed and said, "I see them and I'm going to run them again so they aren't crunchy." Crunchy. She said that with love. And then she FOLDED THEM. Folded. Them. For. Me. Ma'am... what kind of customer service sorcery is this? When I first walked in and asked how her day was going, she said "Great! I never have a bad day." After meeting her, I fully believe this. She radiates the type of joy you can feel from across the room. If you want clean clothes and your faith in humanity restored, come here. I'm convinced Lemon Fresh isn't just a laundromat. It's a ministry. Highly recommend!

I show up and it's only cash transactions, no debit card or touch to pay. Jennette the employee was such a sweet heart and instead of me having to take another ride share to an atm, she kindly allowed me to use the washer and dryer for my clothing What an amazing experience and customer service! This will definitely be an experience I'll share with others.
