I only wish that they had smaller top load washers. The majority of their washers are either double loaders priced at $4.25 or the 4 load washers priced at $6.49. Oh, you also have to pay a small fee to obtain a washer card to activate the machines. No cash here. If you should happen to need any laundry detergent, fabric softener or dryer sheets they are available for purchase at the kiosk with the attendant on duty.

Foxy's Laundromat was a surprisingly great find!…read more First things first: it's CLEAN. And when it comes to laundromats, that's pretty much the love language I'm looking for. They have washers for everything from a regular single load all the way up to a whopping 80 lbs. Basically, if you can drag it through the door, there's probably a machine big enough to wash it. Forgot detergent? They have laundry products available for purchase. You can also use a credit card at the machine to purchase a laundry card, so no need to arrive carrying enough quarters to fund a small arcade. Clean, convenient, plenty of machine sizes, and easy to figure out. Foxy's in Villa Park gets my vote! Now, if they could just figure out how to fold everything and put it away for me, we'd have a 6-star establishment.

A joyful, welcoming laundry experience thanks to Renee!…read more I found Fast and Fresh Laundry online and decided to make the drive from Glen Ellyn to visit my son and do his laundry. I am so glad I did! From the moment I walked in, I was struck by how welcoming and joyful the environment was. Renee was the attendant on duty, and she is absolutely wonderful. Her nature is so helpful, professional, and warm. She thoroughly explained the process for using the machines and made sure I had everything I needed. The entire experience was fantastic, not only because of the great facilities but because of Renee's kind, friendly service. The laundromat itself is very clean and well-maintained, and I felt completely safe the entire time. It's a joyful and friendly atmosphere that made a chore feel more like a pleasant stop during my visit. If I'm ever in the area again, I will absolutely stop by just to say hi, even if I don't have any laundry to do. Do yourself a favor and go to Fast and Fresh Laundry--you will feel right at home!

Muddy's gets 4 of my stars because they have really nice people & the place is usually quite clean. It's not a really big place & it'll get crowded during peak time. The small plaza's parking lot sucks. Obviously, the building was constructed when the street was half as wide. Park on the side. One wall of dryers. 25¢ in a dryer yields a 10-minute spin. They are hot but the last 2 minutes or so are a "cooling down" (no heat) period. Best to check your stuff when there's 5-6 minutes remaining so if you need more time, you can insert another quarter & skip the useless cooling down. They have one row of top-loader washers and three perhaps four different sized front-loaders. A much better deal when you're stuck doing the family wash, like I was. But it provided a great excuse to get outta attending a birthday party at the in-law's. Minus one star because the underside of the detergent flap had mildew (gotta keep them washer doors open when not in use). I wouldn't have used that machine with mildew if I hadn't already stuffed it full of clothes. Minus another star because the hot water wasn't really hot. I can't imagine how a laundromat could maintain hot water without a boiler the size of the USS Augusta. It wouldn't matter anyway, as every machine sold in the US since Clinton was eyeing the female interns in The White House has had to obey gubmint energy regulations so we could enjoy a life free of energy and climate concerns.
