Everywhere I go either the starch is real light or they don't press the shirt, or both. I've now been to Hygenic twice and these shirts have the heaviest starch ever and pressed beautifully. Better yet the prices are very reasonable, as well.

So imagine my delight when my hair stylist suggest Village Cleaners for my dry cleaning needs. I stopped by this location after work and dropped off my clothes. The friendly, personable counter woman told me my things would be ready in a couple of days, hand wrote me a tag (haven't seen that is many years) and sent me on my way. My clothes came back perfect and with none of the annoying tags on it that other places use. And they didn't have that "dry cleaner chemical smell" that some places have either. And the best thing? Prices are reasonable too. So the next time you are looking for a dry cleaner in Topeka, check out Village Cleaners. They do what they say they are going to do and at a decent price!

July 2022 a pair of my pants did not get returned to me. The business manager, Tristan reimbursed me the replacement price and I bought a new pair of pants the same style. July 2024 the pair of pants I bought to replace the first pair was not returned to me. I have been given all kinds of excuses for Tristan not contacting me. At one point I was told that he was mailing me a check to replace them. Never got a check. After a month of him ignoring me, I made a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. He has never responded to their communication either. Tristan, the owners son, needs to be replaced! The employee that stole my clothes also needs to be replaced! I like using this laundromat. It's usually clean with friendly people…read more The biggest problem I have with them is that there is no emergency contact number for them posted. Washers/driers break with customers clothing in it, or the place has been trashed, a water line breaks, people shut off all the breakers in an unlocked breaker box, the heat doesn't work on a 16 degree morning (all of this except for water lines breaking happened this morning 12/1/24), etc., and I could not get ahold of anyone to report it to them. I tried to call the number listed for them, but just rang with no answering machine or anything. This needs to be corrected immediately. I even found a black dust on one of the folding tables and when I wiped it off, I realized by the smell that it was Marijuana residue. This doesn't have anything to do with the staff, just how trashed that it can get between the times the staff is there, which admittedly is every day. Otherwise I like going here, the staff is very friendly and helpful and, again, it is usually clean, has good prices, and is really close to where I live.
