Today, I was getting change and he confronted me that change is only for customers because it "makes so much more work for him"....Buddy, that is literally your job - servicing the public. I didn't have my laundry with me but planned to come back in with 4 loads of blankets (the place is super expensive so I needed to plan accordingly). I handed him the change back and asked for my $20 and he said, no, this is your final warning. Actually, this was the first time I ever used his change machine. I told him that I have done hundreds of loads of laundry at Suds Out and he said that doesn't matter because I was making his life harder by getting change to use elsewhere - I wasn't. I intended to use the change to do my laundry. I told him this. I told him that he was being rude and that he had been rude to me several times in the past. He then held out his hand and demanded the change back. I said no, and said you just lost a loyal customer of many years, and as I was walking out he muttered maliciously, "Get the fxxx out and have a nice day." Previously, he got right in my face - inches away, and berated me about leaving dog hair in the machine, which I was cleaning already and offered to clean thoroughly, and he said no...then he bitched so loudly about it, ranting for more than ten minutes, that he made not just me, but the rest of the customers uncomfortable. Several came up to me and asked if I was ok because I was visibly shaken by the confrontation. Did I mention the place is SUPER EXPENSIVE? What a jerk.

Terry and the new manager Jackie have increased this business substantially!…read moreJackie took over as manager this summer (approximately) and CLEANED the place up. Now running more efficiently. Both Jackie and Terry are very helpful and kind. One item I found very disturbing; the owners allow the small children to run amuck. Although there is a designated area for children, around Service dogs this is extremely inappropriate! I almost reported them to the ADA officials and decided simply to use another place since laundry mats were going to be a short period in my life. one small child ran at my Service, of course she will bark, Service are never to be Looked At, Spoken to, Never petted nor assaulted in any manner. This is an ADA legality. The mother complained to Jackie about the one bark from my service who was laying on her blanket, then the two children came from another direction, I told them to leave my Service dog alone, this did not assuage them. My service dog has attend large affairs, small dinners, restaurants, workout at gyms and never has been assaulted several times by other. the same day as my Service dog, laid on her blanket a man turned around and went to pet her, immediately I stated, Do NOT Pet or approach my service dog. The owners took action inappropriately against the ADA law. If one does not care for very young children running around this is NOT the place for you and your laundry. The Laundry mat is well run by Jackie and Terry, there are many machines, and more expensive than other places, however the selection is massive; be aware of the unattended children. They do handle a massive amount of clientele, take in laundry and do perform an excellent job, it is the unattended children I find to be most inappropriate.

Please note there is no attendant & bathroom is locked, (read below for occasional use). The prices are reasonable, although they did recently in May 2026 go up a bit. There are some seats, usually enough for the attendees, the Woman owner was very kind and engaging in a short conversation. At times, not frequent, the machines resemble Vegas Slot Machines. There are numbers to call, hopefully if a male voice answers, he will be in a better mood than what I encounter on one day. As once before I was offered the return funds. For the most part, this is a very quaint neighborhood laundry mat, with really nice people. We all have exhausted and bad days, ergo.. I do recommend this place: albeit the bathroom is locked, only time you may use it if one of the family members are present with a key (not often). The machines work well, the dryers work well. I advise NOT purchasing the "CARD" unless your plan is to use it a great deal, then you may save a few quarters, the purchase of the card is in the front left side of the doorway vending machine for $2.00; read your details and calculate. There is a quarter machine in the back, it works well. Or go to your bank and get a $10 roll of quarters. Overall, decent place!!! Amenable people, lots of choices in machine sizes.

The washers are great. Quick, easy and you are on your way. Now,the dryers are a completely different story. On high heat, it is 7 minutes for $0.25. Now, the cost isn't the issue but rather this begs the question, how much time will this cost me? I am at the facility anywhere between two to three hours because of how many dry cycles I have to end up doing. I have tried multiple strategies to mitigate this issue including making sure 1) the dryer is up to par 2) ensuring all items are flat and not wadded up and 3) breaking the items into smaller loads. None of which appear to help cut down the amount of time spent or the number of dry cycles per load. Oh and one last minor annoyance, you have to rescind your card each time the dryer stops Anyway, moving on, the staff (i.e., Sol) is THE sweetest. She gave me a few tips on the best way to wash given my family size. She also gave my son an ice cream and he loved her kindness.
