I had seen a previous review mentioning that the owner was not in during business hours, so I called ahead twice to confirm--but neither call was answered. For what appeared to be a gentle wash using a large machine, the price and turnaround time didn't feel justified to me.

They didn't mention the damage until we noticed it at pickup. They still charged full price with just an apology until we argued for a partial refund. The owner's defense was that "everywhere in US is the same" We weren't expecting a guarantee, just honesty and fair treatment as customers. I'd recommend avoiding this place if you value your clothes and sincere customer service without excuses.

I was recently introduced to these guys for their door-to-door services…read more Although prior to this I was using their in-person service; but of course due to the current circumstances I later switched over. This was an incredible decision. A few things to point out that I love is of course the convenience - but their pricing structure is another aspect. Basically I purchased these pre-paid credits which I can then put toward any service and this gets me additional discounts. Their base prince before this discount is great and competitive however it is even more exceptional with it. If you get the platinum tier you'd also get a welcome box with everything you need to get started. They also allow multiple addresses (work or home) to get pickup and delivery'. As far as their work I've used their in-person services now for almost two years and this is new to me but the level of convenience is incredible. Price is superb and they've never missed a promise they gave me. Highly recommend them.

I was a loyal customer for over three years under the previous owners, who were fantastic. Since…read morethe business changed hands, my experience has been very disappointing. When I picked up my last order, my jean jacket was missing. I called and left a voicemail, and a man named Eddie texted me back saying they'd found it and offered to drop it off or have me pick it up. Great, I thought, a lost item was found. When I arrived and mentioned the jacket, the woman at the counter told me they had kept it because of a stain they couldn't remove. So it was never lost. It was pulled from my order, and no one told me. Had I not called, would I have ever gotten it back? I was given two different stories, with no apology and no offer to make it right. I also don't recall any stain on the jacket when I dropped it off. On top of that, my skirts and dresses came back attached to regular hangers with thick pins instead of the proper clip hangers the previous owners used. The pins left visible holes and lines in the fabric. I spend good money on my clothes, and they deserve better care than this. Especially for how much I spend on dry cleaning monthly. I won't be returning. If you were a customer under the old owners, take a close look at the quality and service now. It's not the same.

If you're looking for THE BEST dry cleaner and laundry solution in the Bay Area, look no farther!…read more The wonderful folks at Alex Dry Cleaning routinely work miracles with impossible stains, and their meticulous laundry service not only keeps my shirts looking impeccable - it prolongs their useful life (I have many shirts that have been laundered by Alex's weekly for 5+ years, and they still look as good as the day I bought them). In addition, their pickup and delivery service is a timesaver - and occasionally a lifesaver, as when I forgot to get my shirts sent out in time for cleaning before a week on the road, and they turned around a cleaning order between Saturday and Sunday. Amazing! Hats off to an incredible small business that has refined customer service to a high art! You can't help but be delighted!
