Always clean and good machines. There's always creepy men customers but you can't knock the business for that. It's a nice clean place.

Fairly clean laundromat with enough room to breathe and do your laundry! It's convenient that the parking spots are right in front so you really can just wait in your car if you prefer. They have a clerk there to help you with little adjustments should a machine not work, but for the most part they do. It's all cash/coin here. They offer drop-off service if that's your thing, but I prefer to do my own laundry. 20 gallon side loader (2 loads) is $4-4.50 depending on the setting you choose. They also have the XXL ones (16 loads) if you need. The dryer is large too, 25cents for 6minutes. For 2 loads it may take you about $2-2.50 to fully dry. I think their head could be turned up a bit, but it's okay. My laundry smells so darn fresh and feels soft compared to the communal laundromat in my complex so it's a plus. Oh, the best part about this???! Nobody hovering over you with horrible management and bad vibes like some other "high-class" laundromats elsewhere (on Bascom near the tea spot, cough**) No rudeness, just plain laundry n get on w your life. read more

We come here every Tuesday, and love it. Maria one of the staff members that works here is extremely nice and friendly. However today we decided to come and do our laundry on a Monday since the holidays fall on Tuesday/Wednesday and I cannot express how much we regret it. We reported that the machine that changes quarters ate a $20 dollar bill (this is the first time this ever happens to us), after we reported this the man in charge this night accused us of stealing, the other lady working with him that night said his name is Amilcar. After back and forth of him accusing us of stealing we told him to check the cameras and he said no one has time for that. He stepped all over us and thats the only reason i will not be giving this place a 5 star. Maria and who I believe is the owner are always friendly and smiling if they see you but i think it's unacceptable that the rest of the staff behaves this way. My little sister was left shaking and with tears in her eyes since she was accused directly by this man. We are local and constant costumers and I don't believe we deserve to be treated like thieves. read more

Prices on the machines are a bit more expensive than most but definitely worth the price as this whole place is ALWAYS super clean! The woman who owns it is always on-site doing paid laundry and wiping down all the machines throughout the day. So glad to see people with standards as every other laundromat in the area is in dire need of cleaning, whether it's the grounds itself or even the machines. read more

I don't like doing laundry but this is my place of choice every weekend. Sometimes it's overly busy so I'll skip it that day and go early the next morning. Nice they open at 7am the attendants are super nice a few don't know English but easy to answer peoples questions for her since I don't speak Spanish. Nice place. Nice people. I am the rare person who ENJOYS a nice laundromat and enjoys doing laundry. This place is really clean and the staff are present and attentive. I needed items and they have them for sale and not for an exorbitant price. I was able to get cashback from their cashier using my debit card and get change for washing. I will come back here for sure. The only recommendation I can make is to have the staff check the washers. I found part of a chili pepper and a tonka truck in one. This place is almost always very clean. Washing machines are spotless and even the parking lot is free of trash. The parking situation is limited. The employees are also very nice. I'm in and out of here with ease. Why I'm giving this Launderlux 2 stars is the inconsistency in business hours and the lack of Covid 19 guidelines. The posted hours online all say 7am-10pm with last wash being 9pm... but there are times when they're open before 6am and by that time it's completely crowded. I've come before 6am thinking they're open (because the open sign is on) and they're not open so I have to sit and wait till somebody opens up. I've called the number listed and nobody ever answers and the voicemail box is completely full. The sad part is there are plenty of eligible signs outside telling people to stay 6 feet apart and to wait in your cars but nobody does and none of the workers enforce it. What's the point of the signs if everybody isn't going to follow them? Why even bother having them up at all?? read more

Came here tonight for the first time. I have a washer and dryer at home but had tons of sheets that needed to be washed by morning. I dont expect much from a laundry mat but was pleasantly surprised when I was greeted by the employee. While my sheets were in the dryer I decided to run a quick errand. When I came back, the lady that works there was folding my sheets. She said she just wanted to help. What a nice & sweet gesture. This place is clean, employees went above and beyond. Every once in a while I have to wash my dog's bed at the laundromat because it doesn't fit in my washer at home. Launderlux is my go-to place! Yes, it's super close to my house however, I come here because of how clean and friendly it is. The workers are always helpful (I put money in the detergent machine but nothing came out. The worker came to help without me even asking). The counters are free of dust, the machines don't smell stanky, the floors are clean and seriously, a bathroom I'm not scared to use! I don't mind so much anymore when my bubba dirties his bed, because coming here is not such a pain. read more

Really disappointed about the way business is run. I have been a loyal customer for over a year and while I had to let go of many little things I didn't like about this place I kept coming but it was a mistake. Today something unacceptable happened. I washed my clothes then I moved it to the dryer and after it was done I found my clothes full of sticky pink spots. When checking the dryer I found a huge soap bar stuck in there and obviously that was the reason for my spotty clothes. I called the guy working there telling him that obviously I had to rewash my clothes and dry them all over again and that I would have to stay there another hour. He said he could not do anything about it and left. I tried to explain that I should notbe using extra money and waste another hour of my life just because they do not clean up often. It wasn't my fault and the soap was well hidden... was I supposed to know people would put soap bar in the dryer seriously?? Why should I be the one paying for it. So I just left and I will use my quarters in some other laundromat.. Also, I feel I had to add some things: people keep smoking really close to the entrance (even though there is a sign that specifically says no smoking within a certain distance) and when I told the people working there they looked at me as if I came from another planet and I had to insist so the woman would tell the smoker to quit smoking. Unbelievable...Also, people park their cars wherever they want even in the middle of the parking lot blocking other cars. People with minivans or trucks always park in the space for compact cars. All these things made me decide to quit this place for good. Awful, awful place. read more

This is #1 Laundromat I go to in SJ. I consider myself a loyal customer even when there's been a few incidents of sketchy homeless people hanging around, sleeping on their benches, or even asking me for money at times I continue to come here. The employees clearly saw the homeless and just walked right past them. One day I even saw someone take off their pants to wash it while they put on a clean pair. However, I can see that this laundry mat cares of how they present themselves. The machines & bathrooms are well kept, and the staff even help to open the doors or hand me a basket as I'm walking in. Ever since I found this place I've always came here, even though there's a significantly cheaper one across the street. Then this happened..... I came here to do laundry on April 21 after a long day and got here at 855 pm and it clearly says on the outside that the last load is at 9PM. The doors were already locked from the inside because it's part of the policy. So the employee opened the door and said it was too late for laundry, I looked at my phone & watch informed told her that their clock on the wall was ahead of time. And she said well it's past nine. And I replied "so your gonna go with a time that's incorrect & off" and she responded, "it's my job to go off that clock" She came off rude and was not sympathetic at all. Did she really think I wanted to do laundry this late in this somewhat sketchy neighborhood? Will it be open the next morning 5 minutes earlier since the clock is off? Though this incident happened, I just went home and will come back another night. I understand I was cutting it very close but don't advertise something that you won't follow through with. On a side note, the staff member that I usually see (I think she has light/dyed hair and a HK tattoo) is very nice and friendly! Prices from 2.75 all the way to 10.25 for a huge 80 lb washer, very clean as well. It was not very full when I went and there was an attendant there cleaning and selling detergent/washing supplies it needed. read more

I've been coming to this laundromat since it opened. It used to be great but it has really gone down hill. There used to be sisters that worked here and ran it flawlessly, the employees they have now are horrible! Every time I go do laundry my experiences get worse and worse. Tonight was no exception. The women working actually allowed someone to have their dog running around inside the laundromat. I definitely don't feel comfortable having a dog running around. Not only that but what about the people who are allergic to dogs or dog hair. This place is very small so I could see someone who was allergic having a hard time. The woman was also continuously cleaning the machines which isn't a bad thing but whatever chemicals she was using were so strong they made my eyes water and my nose sting. It gave me such a headache and my son even complained about the smell. All doors were propped open but the smell was still overbearing. Someone could get really sick inhailing the fumes, that's a lawsuit waiting to happen. I told the lady something about it and she said she had to clean because she had to be out of there at a certain time. The owner should have his employees stay to clean after the laundromat closes. The worker was rude and continued to want to argue with me over it. This place needs to get new employees and change some policies. I don't know what happened to this place. It used to be great but has really changed in such a short period of time. I don't think I'll be coming back here anymore even though its down the street. I would rather drive to Daisy's laundromat on Bascom Ave. read more
