I'm from Aurora but currently live in Utah. My parents have been raving about this brewery for months now! We just spent a long weekend with them and we had only one plan for this weekend. Visit LAUNCH PAD BREWERY!!! My dad has been talking non stop about the Strawberry Moon and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! My mom and I tried the slushy also and it was delicious and perfect for such a hot day!!! My husband use to work for ULA where he did a lot of work on rockets, so naturally we would be attracted to this brewery. We also just moved from Melbourne, FL where we could enjoy and witness all the rockets launched from Cape Canaveral! During the 6 years we lived there, watching a launch NEVER got old! It's amazing!!! My husband and I love beer and I think we just found our new favorite brewery!!!! We will be back every time we come to town, and we'll stalk up!! Nice brewery around the corner in Aurora. Great atmosphere and a cool unique theme. No food service but you can bring your own. I came on a Tuesday afternoon and they were surprisingly busy. The small bar was small and full but there were a lot of tables open. The bartenders were friendly and seemed to be having fun. They have a fun rocket/military theme going on. There's a lot of props and all the beers have themed names. I like their unique feel amount so many cookie cutter craft breweries. I tried the Peacetime Porter, which came out full bodied and tasty. My husband and I have been hearing great things about Launch Pad Brewery, and finally decided to stop in on our way home from the airport one Thursday afternoon a couple weeks ago. I must say that I feel like the online hype was still understated because we were in awe over the quantity and variety of beers on tap, and quality of every beer we tried. I am a sour and fruity beer lover and gushed over the Hans Blueber & the Nakatomi Plaza blonde ale, while my husband loved the Astronaut Beach Party IPA. Interesting variety of brews. We got a couple of flights and tried quite a few of them! None of them stood out as being amazing but they were all pretty good. Here are the ones we tried and our thoughts: * Mahia NZ Pilsner - good light beer * Coconut Almond Macaroon Soyuz - interesting, very coconut-y * Peacekeeper Porter - smoky and smooth * S.T.E.V.E - smooth but very banana-ey! * Cuban Missile Crisis - tastes a bit like you ran it through a used coffee filter, but if you like coffee, a good blonde! * Mexican Chocolate Cake Soyuz - a typical Mexican beer, spicy and anaphylactic * Just Read The Instructions - very light, kinda watery * Robotic Bees - strong but pretty smooth. Honey flavor is strong * S'mores Soyuz - very smooth for an IPA. If you are a fan of sweet beer, it's the beer for you. If you are a fan of hoppy IPA's, look elsewhere read more

Awesome new find!! Perfect timing since abandoning my loyalty to Dry Dock. This place is veteran-owned, has an awesome theme (space), great people working the bar (thanks Mike!) 32 beers (you heard right...32!) a food truck rotation, (we hit on Thursday when BurgerChief was there - don't order the large fries unless you are on a serious carb intake diet!) and a great motif and interior design (we plan to purchase beer glasses and include them in our basement bar stemware collection). I had the Tropospheric Belgian Imperial IPA, and my wife had the Blast Off Brown Ale. WE ARE HOOKED! If you get a chance, say hi to the Launch Pad owner David. Super cool spot hidden away in a small plaza, would have never known if not for our friends recommendation! Excellent beers, really flavorful and unique. I really appreciated the decoration for the NASA theme and they are extremely dog friendly! Lots of indoor and outdoor seating, and there is a mexican food truck right outside with tasty tacos, quesadillas and loaded fries. Will definitely be coming back. read more

Need to update this review and move it from 4 to 5 stars. Their consistency of providing quality beer is impressive. This is by far one of my favorite breweries. Their brew masters have a special talent, bringing different flavors on the regular, and offer fun specials throughout the year. The staff are so friendly and attentive and their clientele are just as friendly. This is definitely a fun place to stop in, relax and drink a good beer. The launch pad has a great selection of brews. We live as Far East in Aurora as possible, but when we feel like a brew this is our first go to. We wish we lived closer. P.S. dog friendly!! read more

Welcoming staff, delicious beers, nice open space. 13 beers on tap at this nano brewery taproom the day we stopped in. A good variety of styles, including 2 ryes. Denver is a competitive market for beer, of course, and this place more than holds its own. I strongly recommend ordering tasters for maximum flavor impact. You will of find a more welcoming tasting room in the Denver area. We watched them warmly greet a diverse group of customers, and the graciousness was striking. Great beer craftmanship. While their place was shut down due to COVID-19, they were still open for pickups. We came here twice during our two-week stay in Denver including my birthday. The staff were very eager to help me select a range of beer to give me an idea of their craftmanship skills. It turns out their double IPA was a clear winner. I did try a variety including the pistachio one that left me toasting them in spirit from afar. I highly recommend checking them out if you are in Denver. This brewery was an amazing find while on our trip to Colorado. We wanted to try a brewery outside of the city and close to our hotel. The Yelp reviews for Launch Pad Brewery were promising and they did not disappoint! They have a great selection of beers to choose from and brew many different types. All the names of the beers play on the space theme. We did a flight of beers of our choice. The names are written on fun cards so you know what you are drinking. My favorites included the Valkyrie- Belgian Wit with Guava and Cape Canaveral Key Lime Pie Saison. We also tried some stouts and an IPA. Great mix of brews and something for everyone. Vibe was relaxed and they have plenty of seating. Dog friendly too. There are also food trucks that come in. Staff was friendly. Overall a great find! read more

This place is pretty cool! They have a food truck on the weekends out front and a patio. Not to mention their KEY LIME PIE SAISON! It's not what it seems, but it's an amazing summer time beer. This is a nano-brewery with some neat hand-crafted beers. I came yesterday for the launch of their mango lychee beer. I tried a sip and thought it didn't taste like mango nor lychee. I opted for the key lime pie saison (canaveral) which had a brighter, more bubbly taste and had a more defined key lime flavor. I wanted to try 1 of their sours but they ran out. Pros -dogs are allowed. I saw some folks who even brought their dog's bed in so their dog could sleep and chill while they enjoyed their beer -there is food. They have their own food but sometimes they have food trucks -they are always launching new flavors. Every month there's a diff stout flavor -every Sunday they offer sours -they have a pajama and beermosa event on Sundays -people play board games here -people study here -plenty of parking -indoor and outdoor space. What a cool brewery! This was my first time here and I will be back again. It is located right by the base and has a military kind of theme. The giant model rocket was really cool. They have a good selection of different and unique kinds of beer. I really enjoyed the Key Lime Pie Saison and the Strawberry Shortcake brew. No kitchen, but they have a lot of typical snacks you find in Denver breweries along with different food trucks that stop by during the month. This is a little brewery in a strip mall off of Buckley and Alameda. If you aren't looking for it you'll miss it as it's behind a carwash. The inside decor is nice and the beer tenders and brew masters are great! My brother in law found this place and very much enjoyed the stouts on offer as he's into stouts. I tried their Cherry Sour, and while I don't typically like sours this was AMAZING! I would have this every time I had a beer if it was available! I can say if you aren't expecting the full body stout of the Birthday Cake (I think that's the one) it'll kick you in the pants and fill you up with a couple sips. So definitely take them up on their offer to taste before you order. They let me taste anything on tap to find the beer that was just right for me. They had clean bathroom facilities, friendly staff and patrons and an over all relaxed atmosphere, there were even a few dogs hanging out on the patio. They also have rotating food trucks come in to provide yummy tidbits for patron's delight. We however, missed the truck as we came later in the evening. We were told rave reviews about the trucks that cycle in so will likely be tempted to try the food available the next time we come by. The Best. Just before the bartender placed one of my drinks down, he stops. And then begins to stare at the liquid in the glass. I naturally ask him, "What's wrong?" He then goes on tell me how that beer just came from a new batch because they just switched kegs and it looked a little off to him. He goes back, gets me new glass and pours from a different keg. That's right. The keg was switched and I got a new glass just because the bartender saw this barely visible discrepancy. No where else are you going to get the level of attention to detail and service. As for drinks, I tried 7 of their 13 types. The ones I recommend are Edmond Hailey and Obler's Paradox. I recommend these two because they are the most unique drinks I had there. The Hailey is a smooth, light tasting rye beer that is easier to go down than milk from your mama. Obler's is just crazy unique. It has hints of dark chocolate, fruit, and even has what I call a spicy punch. I can't say that it's good or bad. Its just a flavor riot that you have to both experience and saver. As for unique stuff: this place has gender neutral bathrooms, beer cookies, and a stout that they change the flavoring of each month. Last month was peanut butter chocolate and this mint chocolate. This brewery blew my expectations completely out of the water! The female bartender with dark hair was super friendly and personable and even gave me an Aurora beer passport. Launch Pad is a unique brewery with a lot of Aerospace stuff inside. After all it was sorted by 2 Aerospace Engineers, according to the Beertender. They had a cool video loop on one of the tv's! It was a loop of the first Lunar landing in fast motion. It was quite entertaining! There is inside and outside seating. The place is definitely dog friendly. The beer selection and taste was Great! They had a pizza truck out back, but we did not eat there. I would assume they are kid friendly, but I am not sure. There is plenty of parking out front. I highly recommend this brewery. read more
