(No refund) The reason was "weather", but soon visiting the location there was a sign on the door saying it was shut down by the city. The manager called the night prior and to receive the rest of the payment knowing they were shut down. This place is bad business! Good place to let the kids get energy out. Less busy during the day. Parents can get drinks and food while the kids play.

You have to PAY to WATCH your kid play. It is apparently under "new" ownership I was told today and the new owners now charge a fee for the adult that is supervising the kid. 2 kids and 2 parents, you're at $100 just walking through the door! I'll pass in the future. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would! Literally the worst experience I've EVER had for my children's birthday party. My party was booked from 4:45-7:15. Upon arrival, I was informed that we wouldn't be allowed in the party room until 6. Which is fine, if I had been informed of this BEFORE arriving, as I had older adults coming and I would've told them to come later. However, this was the least of the worries. Once getting in the room, our hostess never returned after dropping the pizza off. We later found out that as she went to get our stuff, someone in the kitchen said they were going to punch her, so she had an attitude, but they never sent her home. She continued to work, but never came to assist us, as she was supposed to. We never received the "unlimited" drinks we were supposed to get. I had to hunt a manager down and she was dismissive. So I spoke with the General Manager no less than 10 times, telling him all my concerns. He was apologetic, however, NOTHING and I mean NOTHING was EVER resolved. We NEVER received a hostess. We NEVER received the ice cream, that was included in our package. None of the children got called to play laser tag. Not only was the service horrible, it's extremely dangerous! As we're in the party room, we hear a bunch of commotion. Someone was spraying pepper spray, so we had to shield our children's faces to run out. As we exited, we saw 5 police cars and an ambulance. Launch Dearborn just called me 4 hours prior to my sons birthday party start time which was today at 2pm to tell me they were going to be closed for the day due to weather and they have to cancel his party! I paid $589 for his party package, plus I paid hundreds more for 60 cupcakes, decorations, balloons, goodies bags, and extra outside food! I sent out invitations to family and friends 2 weeks ago and all the kids including my son was soooo looking forward to his party! My son is so sad and I'm so frustrated they're saying I can't even get a refund until after Monday when management will be back in the building. This place is overly priced for the experiences that it offers. It is understaffed with very young staff members who are not acquit to handle the amount of patrons in the building. We visited Launch on Thanksgiving weekend, which was also the opening day. The business is very nice and our kids loved the games. Launch has bowling, trampolines, an arcade, and more! They also serve food and have a bar. The bar was not available on opening day, but I'm sure that'll be a nice touch for some. The food service was a little slow, but it was their first day open, so I understand. The menu was nice. They offer pizza, chicken strips, very nice looking milkshakes and more. Very terrible experience at Launch Dearborn. -10 /10 I booked the A-list party package (most expensive package). My party was booked for 7:00pm but we didn't receive our wrist bands and socks for the kids to jump and play until around 8:00pm. My party was not allowed into the party room that we booked until 8:40pm and our food was not served until 10-20 later after we finally sat down. Prior to entering the party room the previous party's name was still on the room door and wasn't removed until someone from my party erased it. We were told our laser tag was to start at 9:45pm even though the place closes at 10pm which forced the laser tag time allowed in the package to be rushed. The lights were cut off before the closing time while the kids were in the middle of playing games and we were disrespectfully rushed out of the building before we had time to gather all of our belongings. We were not given time to properly dress our children for the freezing temperatures even after the security realized that we had several children under 2 and a newborn. The security also talked to us with a foul tone telling us to shut our mouth and threatening us after trying to ask them to give us a bit of time to leave. I would not recommend this place for anyone . I am extremely upset and hurt at the service I received after spending $500 to give my son the birthday he deserved. If you're considering going here I would advise to spend your money elsewhere . read more

Horrible Experience!! Very unprofessional! I went here for my niece birthday party! it started at 6 and we were supposed to get into the room at 7, we did not get into the room until 8!!! The restaurant stopped taking orders the guest could not order food while they waited !!
