Park Place in Dearborn used to be a go-to spot, but since the ownership change in 2025, it just doesn't feel the same. Someone who's been to several events there recently said the experience was pretty disappointing. The event seemed short-staffed, so things didn't run smoothly for guests. The food was also an issue--some of it was undercooked, and they even ran out before everyone was served. What stood out most was that management never really came out to check on things or address any of the problems. Overall, it didn't live up to what people used to expect from Park Place, and it's probably not a top choice right now. read more

My church selected Park Place for a Conference Prayer Brunch. It was superb! I was firstly impressed with the kindness of the staff. The service was professional, patient, courteous, and readily available with any assistance needed. It's also very clean, easy to find, and good parking. We have a 200-person corporate Christmas party every year. This party is on a timed schedule. We expressed our concern, that they needed to be set up and serving by 1:30pm. We were promised that was no problem. However on the day of party, They showed up at 1:22pm. We had to have our people help unload the truck, and set up. We did not get to start serving our people until 1:45. On top of being late, they ran out of food. I ordered for 20 over our count. read more

Excellent venue. Park Place was selected for a family members wake last weekend (Saturday Oct 21). The servers were excellent, I can't say enough about these ladies. So helpful and personable. The food was delicious. It was a buffet with very fresh salad, delicious ranch, warm rolls. The lunch selections were park place chicken, kielbasa & kraut, red potatoes, and green beans. Seriously the chicken was incredible. My aunt selected a white cake with strawberries as the dessert, it was excellent. It was made in-house, cut and served beautifully, plated on two dessert tables. So I was able to really look at each piece to find the one with the most frosting :) The hall is unassuming from the road (Outer Drive), but once inside you find a real gem, it's so clean, professional, and really nice. read more

Our Dearborn Kiwanis meets there every Tuesday and every week we come to place that has always been so helpful and making every meeting a happy place for us to spend the evening. The staff - DeShong, Rickey, Saba, Abby and the new owner Brad have been amazing in working with us thru their new ownership and helping us with menu choices, room set ups and anything that we need. They are making some great changes to the hall - all that make it an even more comfortable place to attend any type of event. We booked the hall for a funeral luncheon with 50 guests. Jillian was so instrumental in helping us with preparation. Reasonable pricing for the assortment and quality and quantity of food. The chicken was moist and crispy. We had one server and she was so awesome and attentive. I didn't get her name but I know her smiling face. We ordered meatballs in a creamy sauce that was so delicious. Food was buffet style and hot. Dessert menu hard to pick just one - our choice strawberry cake, yummy. The hall provided area for picture boards and podium and flowers, everything needed so we could just relax and socialize with family and friends. They even packed excess good for us to take home, which came I. Handy for overnight guests. We love this place and I love the staff (chef and server). Will be back. read more

We (Divine Child HS Class of 1973) just had our 50th class reunion at Park Place. It could not have been a nicer venue. Greg, the manager, Randy the coordinator, Ken, the bartender, and the rest of the staff were wonderful. They were very easy to work with, the space was perfect for our group of 75, (but could easily have held more), the food was delicious (plenty of salads and vegetables for those who would rather not eat meat), and the pricing was was great. I had my shower here for my wedding. The room was a good size for our group of about 60 people. They provided a buffet style lunch for us. I had pasta, salad, chicken and beef, rolls and other things I'm forgetting. My MIL and SIL did most of the planning, but they said that they were really easy and get to work with. The service that day was quick, efficient and attentive. If I ever need a place to gather a group of people in Dearborn, this is a great place to host such a party. This was my first visit and I was really impressed! Good food, great staff, very clean place even the bathrooms were nice and clean. The salad was beautiful and the toppings were fresh with a variety...the seasoning was balanced in the food, I would've like to have seen the chicken cooked longer though, it was a bit mushy here and there. My granddaughter had her wedding reception at Park Place last Sunday and it was terrific. The staff there was very congenial and attentive and many people said that. The food was amazing and delicious and they even fixed a couple of separate things for my granddaughter who is dairy sensitive and my sister who is gluten sensitive. We had our wedding reception and it was stunning! Newly remodeled. The food was excellent, homemade meatballs were to die for! I am a foodie and have high expectations and Park Place blew me away. Randy was so helpful and coordinated everything! She even decorated my cake with fresh flowers. Kenneth made sure the drinks were strong and the line moved fast. I had my wedding reception at Park Place Banquet Hall 42 years ago, and just recently on the evening of January 25, 2020 for my husband's memorial dinner. Firstly, it is still the most beautiful banquet hall I have been to in Dearborn. The menu choices are a good variety, and my quests are still raving about the food. The staff that worked the event were very professional and friendly, not only to me, but to my guests as well. We went to this venue for a tribute dinner we were invited to. The venue itself was very nice. There was ample parking (for us), and later in the night, when parking was full, they had shuttle service from parking lot 2 to the door. Checked our coats immediately, then checked in. Bartenders were friendly, wait service was quick and friendly. Only complaint I had was lack of vegetarian friendly foods, but this is pretty standard at events like this anyway, so no biggie. Restrooms were large and nice, and the sound system was great for the various speakers at the event. Would love to attend another event here. read more

Park Place Catering is fantastic and went above and beyond for me. I had a last minute Easter celebration at my house and PP was able to accommodate me on short notice. They were helpful, polite, and professional. The food was super and all my family/friends loved it. The prices are very reasonable. I asked for a sheet cake too and requested that if possible they put a dinosaur on it for my son. Instead they made an entire dinosaur theme cake and even included some Dino cake toppers that my son was ecstatic over. Thank you PP! Park Place was a great venue for my daughter's baby shower. The food was delicious, and many choices for the luncheon buffet. The room is very spacious, and the wait staff did a wonderful job. Gary is great to work with and is very accessible to anything you need. We went with the layer cake for dessert and he even had it decorated to go along with our elephant themed shower. The wedding reception of my daughter and her husband was held on May 18, 2013 at this facility. The coordination of the reception was done flawlessly by Gary, the owner, and Greg, the chef and manager. It was a pleasant experience each time my daughter met with Greg to go over various details. He handled everything with calm and professionalism. The food was great and the staff was efficient and friendly. They set everything up just as the couple wanted. The hall itself has lots of windows, a large dance floor, an outdoor patio and hosts just 1 reception at a time. All the things my daughter and her husband wanted. It was perfect! read more
