A vegetarian/vegan's dream!! I'm so grateful that a good vegan restaurant is here in this area. Pros: Good prices Good quality Fast service (no-contact pickup) The artichoke po-boy is delicious (and huge!). It reminds me of a Big Mac. Cons: The jalapeño burger was a tad bland for my taste, but still pretty good!! I can't wait to come back and try more of the items!

I haven't ate too many vegan sandwiches, nonetheless a vegan Rueben - but this was AMAZING. If I didn't live all the way in Texas I would come here at least once a week so I could try their whole menu. The people were so friendly, which just adds to the great food. They had deserts and drinks as well!

The food is delicious and the dining room and bar are really cute. It's not full service and food is served in carryout containers, but the staff is warm and welcoming, the drinks are fresh and cold, and the vegan faire is delicious! They also have a great selection of mocktails and wine. You just walk in and sit where you'd like and then order from the bar. They give you a table number and you pay up front when you leave. We had the pineapple fried rice and the fried artichoke bowl - both were so flavorful and delicious. I also had the minestrone soup, and that was hot and freshly made as well. Everything tasted great and I love the location - I will be back frequently, and especially when I am in the mood for a sandwich - they have a huge menu of those. Be aware - the menu is a little carb-heavy - I was thinking I might ask in advance if they could make cauliflower rice for me next time. I can't wait to return.

We visited Chive for brunch again after a little intermission. We don't live near Chive but it is so worth taking a drive for! Updating review to say that, as always, the food was amazing and the service was great. Nadia took excellent care of us and we walked away fully satisfied. Also, if you've never had the Chocolate Beet Cake, do try it. We bought two slices to go home with us. Yum. Highly recommended.

WOW! Ate yesterday at Chive and even if you don't like eating vegan you need to check it out. Charlie at the bar crafted some of the best drinks I have had in a long time. This is with fresh ingredients made from actual fruit/herbs (not processed). Ate and left feeling good not heavy and tired. You have to go even just to have a good drink at the bar! Say hi to Charlie he made the experience even better!

I've been to Chive Kitchen twice, once for brunch and once for dinner. Both times I tried a few different items and everything was delicious. I must say, though, you definitely get more bang for your buck at brunch. Dinner prices seem to be a bit high (many dinner entrees for $15-$24), but at least you get a decent amount of food. CK is in a small shopping center, so parking is usually available. Everything on the menu looks great, so I can't wait to get back to try it all!

Pretty great vegan brunch spot in heart of Farmington. First time stopping into here and we had a lovely brunch! It was not crowded for a Sunday morning, so we were happy about that. Everything here is vegan, which is great. Even their coffee. My friend and I each ordered a cappuccino which was made with almond milk. Wasn't quite a cappuccino, but it was a lot of espresso with a little frothy almond milk on top! We got quite a few things to share between the two of us: -Bruschetta - their take was toast with a chickpeas on it, arugula and some kind of sauce. It was pretty good - Summer Squash Scramble - all their scrambles are made with tofu and not eggs, so this was piled with squash, zucchini, asparagus, and then a side of toast and home fries - Mushroom Scramble - tofu, various types of mushrooms, zucchini and then side of home fries and toast - Citrus glaze French Toast breading pudding - a big hunk/slice of this stuff that looked like a very rich monkey bread. It was served with maple syrup and cashews. It was delicious! Everything we tried was really good; the service was also good. The prices were pretty decent and the location is great. Stop in soon and give it a try! I will definitely be back!

Got a carry out from here.. Got the jalapeño burger for dinner and a citrus cooler... Couldn't believe it was vegan and gluten free with cashew cheese (Tasted better than real cheese).. I'd definitely go to dine in here.. They have great desserts which I still have to try.. Make sure you avail their happy hours.. :) Ps: Their menus keep changing.. Make sure to ask for their specials and additions...

What a great place to eat a healthy filling inexpensive meal that tastes delicious. We are here on a Wednesday afternoon. Ordered the artichoke bowl and the nacho bowl. You order at counter now after waiter gives you a menu and then waiter brings out your food. It's in to go containers but we ate it in restaurant. Good music playing in background. Just grateful to have this place in Farmington. Yum. You need to try it.

What a gem! I came to Chive for my birthday and I couldn't have been more pleased by my special experience at this restaurant. My friends and I ordered the Bife a Portuguesa, the Saffron Pasta, beets appetizer, and the jalapeños and we shared. Every dish we had was so amazing! Flavorful, well seasoned, cooked to perfection vegan dishes! I sampled so many wonderful things and the Portuguese wine I ordered was also excellent. And lastly I was given a generous piece of their chocolate beet cake with a lovely bday candle and omg this cake was to die for! I was already so stuffed but I couldn't stop eating that cake till it was gone! Oops! I highly recommend Chive for their creative, delicious and bold vegan food, and super cute ambience and top-notch service staff to boot! Great for friends, dates, and birthdays! :) :) :)

Well, because our congregation had a small list of approved caterers, and my daughter wanted one thing for the big celebration: a chocolate fountain. As luck would have it, The Moveable Feast has a chocolate fountain front and center on its website, so they were the obvious choice. The only other thing the Bat Mitzvah Girl wanted was bagels and cream cheese, which is her favorite food and pretty much impossible to mess up. Especially when the caterer agrees to source the bagels from Zingerman's Bakehouse. But one needs more for a luncheon than just bagels, cream cheese, and a chocolate fountain. That is where Misty Rose entered the picture. She got what we were going for and helped to round out the rest of the menu. I was told we had to get the whitefish as it was a signature dish of the company, and that was a great call. The pastrami spiced smoked salmon was tasty too. Having grilled vegetables was a fantastic idea as well. If I were to have TMF cater another event I might skip the red pepper hummus, the beet and quinoa salad, and the frittata. I make all of these things at home on the regular, and not to brag, but mine are better. However, those each served a role in the buffet, which on the whole was well received. Where The Moveable Feast shined brightest was its staff. They were extraordinary! Misty for both her flexibility and her patience in dealing with a father who was planning an event at the earliest stages of Omicron. Misty also directed me to A1 Rentals and helped to come up with several floor plans to make a 20' x 40' tent feel like a celebratory space. Plus the event staff were simply heroic, setting up the tent while I was at the ceremony and having everything ready by the time our guests arrived. Everyone who braved traveling to Michigan in December amidst a growing pandemic had a great time. The bartender roaming around pushing mimosas certainly helped. As did the tent heaters, which TMF helped to get back online when one wasn't working. They called up the rental company and made sure A1 brought over a new one. Plus the TMF crew even helped to spread out some straw when the lawn got sloppy thanks to the unexpected ice storm. If you've read down this far, you might be asking yourself, "So why only four stars?" Well, if you recall, the critical components of this event were a chocolate fountain, bagels, and cream cheese. The chocolate fountain was everything the guest of honor had hoped for... and maybe more. But somehow, the caterer forgot to bring the cream cheese. And a bagel without cream cheese is like a hug without the squeeze. I know that's not actually how the line goes. Still... it's close. My personal belief is that a business is best defined by what happens when something goes wrong. In this case, their first offer was to simply not charge me for the food they didn't bring. That was not terribly satisfying. Ultimately, the resolution was a sum that was roughly equivalent to the mimosas which helped make our adult guests happy despite the omission. I appreciated the gesture, but would have preferred an outcome that did not feel as transactional. You know, like a tray of sweets, or an "I'm sorry" cake. I know I'm weird about this, but money feels kinda dirty. Although at some point it's best to just take the offer and move on. Which is exactly what I did. Would I work with The Moveable Feast again? Absolutely! Would I recommend them to anyone who asks? You bet. Would they work with me again? I certainly hope so. We had a tremendous amount of leftovers, which included a few pounds of smoked salmon and multiple pints of whitefish. We were even able to salvage some of the ambrosial nectar from the chocolate fountain. More importantly, thanks to TMF we were able to pull off a successful event in the face of some abysmal conditions. I mean... on top of everything a last minute ice storm? And despite being down a person, they did it all with a smile. Bravo!

I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about them…read more We found them after a long search to cater our wedding in June 24. They jumped to accommodate our brunch catering request, and did so flawlessly. The guests were extremely impressed with their ability to serve and maintain breakfast foods buffet style, and raved about the options and taste of all the food. I would highly recommend them for anything you need. Despite being a little pricy, it was well worth the expense.

The servers did a great job helping set up everything, but this event left all the guests hungry. They actually went home and ordered pizza. I am still trying to untangle what the heck cost $4,656.13 for 25 guests. We did have flowers and tables clothes but my goodness. First time I used them they did sandwiches which were full sandwiches, I had no reason to believe that this was going to cost more money and that a cocktail sandwich for lunch did not mean a full sandwich but the finest of sandwiches I have ever seen. They were also supposed to have brie on one of the sandwichs and it had absolutely no Brie! There food signs were bigger than the sandwiches. I will never ever hire them again. Buyer beware with this group. I see all of these posts that say they did a great job and I am wondering, did they run out of time for our event - what the heck happened? Just don't do it. I was beyond disappointed.
