The gate keepers are friendly and wave as you drive through. The staff somehow knows the names of all their guests and greet you by last name. It is very formal yet they treat you like family. The gym is clean and full of all the equipment you may need for a good workout. The locker rooms are fresh and clean and if you're lucky you can have your own assigned locker for an additional monthly fee. They offer a tennis member option and golf member option. My family were tennis members and after another year and some months, were able to move up to the golf membership. Both options give you full privileges to the pool membership. The families here are so friendly too. The kids have made great friends here. I feel safe to relax and not worry about the kids safety here at all. They have family fun events here often and we seem to spend a lot of time here.

Most of it is cement, but there are sections of it that are bridges made out of wood, so watch your step. It helps break up the monotony of running on you average sidewalk. The path goes up and down some nice hills, through heavily wooded areas, and right along the side of some residential streets. There is a opening where you run next to and cross over a creek, so I can imagine that the mosquito population here can be pretty heavy. Be careful and wear some DEET. Probably the crown jewel of this park (for some people, not for me), is this huge play ground. When I say huge, I mean HUGE!!! It's a pretty massive structure of wooden beams and planks to climb and play on. The path cuts right by it, so if you take it the whole 1.44 miles around, you'll pass by it! Cool place if you want a change of scenery and a nice trail to walk. If you're close by, take a walk and enjoy Mesquite!

Each bay came set up with clubs, menus, and seating, and a server walked us through both the food ordering and how the games worked. Once we started playing, I didn't want to stop. We played nonstop for 2.5 hours. We ordered a big platter of food that lasted the whole session. It's entertainment venue food, but honestly good for what it is. The service really stood out though. Even though we had an assigned server, multiple staff members checked on us throughout the night. When it started pouring rain, someone immediately came by and moved us to a bay with a tarp. Super attentive and very appreciated. Such a fun time. I'm already planning to get the summer fun pass so I can work on my swing.

They didn't wait for me to finish before they swing. Prices are reasonable. You pay extra for a cart here.

I returned after a bad experience my last time here, clearly out of poor judgement, to play with a few friends who are newer to the game, and decided to play the Glen for the first (and last) time. Booked a tee time for three players over the phone at 5:10 with one of their "stellar" employees, and called back a few hours later to move it back to 5:30 to give us more wiggle room after work. We show up to the course and go to check in to find out the tee time was never adjusted on their tee sheet, they still had us at 5:10, so "we were late". I explained the situation to them, and the best they could do is move us to 6:10, fine. After some practice time, we return to check in again, only to be told we (a threesome) were only booked for two players at 6:10 and had gotten paired with two other players. Frustrated, I commented that an apology would go a long way on their behalf for all of these mistakes. The two employees at the desk (likely with a collective 10 brain cells between them) looked at each other and said "we weren't here yesterday", and the one even had the audacity to say "you should be happy you're playing golf". At no point a simple "we apologize for the confusion and inconvenience", was offered or likely even thought of in their seemingly empty cranial cavities. I will not be returning here ever, and would recommend anyone that appreciates decent (not even good) customer service avoids this place like the plague. They are a disgrace.
