Yet another cafe that gives me neighborhood envy. Lattente was one of the first in Buenos Aires's "good coffee" wave, coming long before any of the more recent shops that have popped up in P. Soho and Hollywood and beyond. That being said, the first and second time I went I was greeted by a closed door (my fault) and never actually made it back. Almost 2 years after my first go-around I finally stopped in on Sunday. Let's just say this was long, long over due. Coffee is far and away the star of this comfy shop. Get your favorite (latte? capp? pour over? etc.?) and enjoy just how great your cup of caffeine tastes. The owners have even chosen to forgo wifi in their stark protest to the art of the drink. In other words, bring a book and settle in. You're mind and body will thank you for the much needed rest. My cappuccino was stellar and the little pistachio cookie was the perfect companion. The smell of banana cake was intoxicating. If you head here on a Sunday you'll also be surprised to find some of the best (only) bagels in the city right outdoor (11:30am and only on Sunday brought to you by Sheikob's Bagels). I'll see ya there.

    Good coffee.

Lattente is the almost-perfect place for that occasional time when you've been enjoying Buenos Aires, but what you really need is a good New York City cafe with genuinely good coffee. To hit all the bullet points: (1) They DON'T have wifi (which is rare for BA). (2) They DO have good coffee (which is even more rare for BA). (3) They DO have free water (!!! you basically won't find that anywhere else). (4) They DO have a great environment for cranking out a few hours of good, focused work. In my mind, this is an exceptional spot. It's hard to find anything that compares. The ONLY thing it needs to upgrade to a solid 5 stars is wifi.

These guys really serve great coffee! Everybody that has been to Palermo at least a handful of times knows them, they're one of the first or the first specialty coffee shop that popped up in this city. That being said, I didn't like the inside of the store. It seems gloomy, old, dusty like a depressing basement. So, coffee to go it is!

Cappuccino was too cold to appreciate. Pistachio cookie is worth trying Pricing is reasonable (as of 2015/11) Atmosphere is noisy and way over crowded - barely found a place to stay Personnel is overwhelmed at times and tend to forget orders, but are happy to fix it English and mid-Spanish was a bit of an issue, perhaps due to the above mentioned factors: noise and crowd. This place is an obvious hype. Next time we'll have decent coffee elsewhere.

I was told this place has the best coffee in Buenos Aires, so my friend took me here and I'm so pleased she did! Amazing spot with amazing coffee. I had an iced latte that was spot on. The ambiance is great too - cute murals, open airy space, beautiful tables. I'll definitely be back. One thing to note for non-native speakers - I thought this place was called brew bar, so heads up!

A small coffee shop with a lot of charm. The owners are both first place finishers at the Argentina barista championships and both pull the perfect espresso. If you want the perfect coffee and a bite to eat in a beautiful district of Buenos Aires, this is your place.

The best coffee in Buenos Aires. I was here a few years back and it has had a refreshed look. The staff are still as welcoming as before. Definately a place to go when you are in Buenos Aires.

Lattente really lives up to the expectations. A cozy coffee shop that serves amazingly good coffee. The latte was soft and creamy, and the baristas are really nice. Excellent reading spot or place to rest after walking Palermo up and down.

This place is very cute! They have house rules (etc. They don't have wifi, no laptops, no loitering). Nevertheless I found the service very amiable! I got a flat white and it was very tasty! They have outdoor seating which is very pleasant on a nice evening :)!

Great latte, small joint, no wifi. Good place to stop in for a caffeine buzz and some conversation. No computers!

The Location: In Almagro, at the corner of the intersection between Av. Corrientes and Bulnes…read more The Staff: The staff were very helpful in helping me order my drink and pastry. I did not finish my pastry so they gave me a to-go box--very kind. The Drinks: - Iced Cold Brew: It is good, not as strong as I typically like a cold brew. The Food: - Cake with strawberry: It was really good. The Venue: - I liked the venue. The wi-fi was pretty faster and more reliable than other coffee shops. Of course, this is a chain coffee shop, so one would expect some things better. The drinks and food are good. I would probably just order coffee again next time. They do accept credit cards and it is a great place to get some work done or study if you find a spot available. Note about Wi-Fi in Buenos Aires: The Wi-Fi in Buenos Aires is not as fast (and not as reliable) as the Wi-Fi found in typical coffee shops in the United States and in Europe. Thus, I do not make bad reviews based on slow wi-fi which is very common here. Upshot: A great venue to do some work in. It does close at 9pm so that is worth keeping in mind. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ La ubicación: En Almagro, en la esquina de la intersección entre Av. Corrientes y Bulnes. Resultado: Me gusto. Lo único que cierra muy temprano en mi opinion.
