A welcome addition to the neighborhood, but with one unfortunate exception: They don't serve wine…read more They have beer, but no wine, which is too bad, since they serve sandwiches, tartas, salads, etc. It's the only place we've been to that doesn't offer wine. I bought a baguette yesterday. I don't know why the bakeries in Buenos Aires are incapable of producing a crusty baguette like they do in France. Instead, the baguette was soft to the touch. Fortunately, lightly toasting it adds crispness. Crispiness + butter = Good. Food - 3 stars - I base this only on the baguette i bought. So the ambiance is the best part here. Everything else you can get else where. It's right next door to a movie theater so naturally it is a fitting plan to have a coffee here afterwards. Nearby Cabildo and Juramento it is also extremely easy to get to and from The prices are alright and you can pay with a card with is always nice. Postres are the best, for a snack or just to wander by and get dessert, otherwise the dinner options are nothing to rave about. When it is crowded you need to be patient because there are few waiters for the amount of people that can fit outisde.
