There are no clear trail markers, signs, or directional arrows, so be prepared to feel a bit lost unless you're following a GPS map the whole time. I tried to find the education center and never located it. Instead, I stumbled across a homeless encampment, which made the area feel a little less safe than I'd like for a solo hike. The terrain itself isn't extreme, but you'll want hiking boots and long pants. It's not the most maintained or intuitive trail system. On the plus side, there's a large open field where locals bring their dogs off-leash, which gives park area a nice community vibe. This isn't an AllTrails gem. Skip it unless you're checking off every green space in Austin or just enjoy getting a little lost.

However, it is a great place to do the homework PT that I have to do and it has some places which allow me to do stretches, and play with the bands that I have been given. One problem is the sudden water sprinklers, so I tend to avoid them and stay a safe distance. It is actually a pretty good place after a light rain and since I am not running I can stay away from pools of water. An extra snap is that it is so close to many places I go on "my route" for chores and shopping. One thing I have noticed here is I have always gotten a waive, or howdy from people going by me. Some are curious as to the PT I am doing and a couple have tried out the same thing I was doing, much to my amusement as they moan and groan. I always leave here sore, but smiling.

All participants had the correct size bike for their height, bikes and helmets were provided. He is very aware of everyone's safety. The tour was super interesting. Mike has a wealth of information to share which enhanced the experience. We made frequent stops at certain points to get information about its history, geological significance or other entertaining tidbits. It was not strenuous, everybody kept up with the pace and got a lot out of it. Most importantly, we had a ton of fun. Mike is the perfect guide, we had a blast. They are near a winery and there's a pizza shop and a arcade all within walking distance. The owner is pretty young guy, so you got to love young entrepreneurs. Of all the places for a person to start a business, he decided to start it here in Austin even though he is from houston. They will sell the sit down tricycle type of bike, it's actually called a TerraBike. I brought three bikes and he got them in quick, the pricing was great, comparable to other bike shops. I got great updates about my bike especially when a part had to be ordered and that's no fault of his, I just had to wait for the part to get here. I did see that there were other people that were here the same day of the grand opening like me so hopefully word is getting out. They also sell other items inside if you are interested in accessories for your bike. I saw a wide variety of bikes in there so it doesn't really matter what you have, if it is a cycle, I'm sure that he can work on it.
