She bagged them up, and the moment she handed me the warm bag, the smell hit me--fresh, fragrant, and impossible to resist. I could hardly wait to dig in. On the side, I loaded up on their pink sauce and hot sauce (both highly recommended). As soon as we got home, I grabbed the carne empanada first. The crust was perfectly fried--crispy yet still doughy, and the filling was so flavorful I immediately made everyone at the table try a bite. My first bite of the empanada really showed off the dough which I loved as it was light and flaky. The fillings on the inside were good too and both my wife and I enjoyed all of them with my favorite being the pepperoni and cheese.
