We were extremely impressed with the company's professionalism throughout the entire planning process! From the staff who answered our emails to those that hung up the lights the day of, everyone was extremely helpful and assisted in making our special day run smoothly. We got married on a Friday and had the option to split the cost of the lighting package with the couple getting married on the following day-this was a great alternative that the company offered us! If you are looking to add some extra flare to your event space (especially those brides/grooms getting married in a loft/industrial space!), we would highly recommend looking into MDM Entertainment!

I followed up and was told I would receive the proposal by the end of the day, but I never heard back. I reached out multiple times over the following two weeks to everyone I had been in contact with and did not receive a single response. This lack of communication was extremely disappointing and felt unprofessional for a service costing $5,000+. I would not feel confident hiring a vendor who communicates this poorly for such an important event.

You ignored me over 2 weeks and we had a professional relationship. You also gave me 3 Wedding Venues that you said you are "preferred vendor" for, without me asking. I checked all 3 of them and you clearly lied to me. Also, Tony, you response to my review says "some of our reviews tells you that our customers were referred by their venues". This is factually incorrect of your Yelp reviews. I checked all 80 of them. None do. Another lie here.

We did not hire a wedding planner for our event so Bridget helped us plan the entire evening down to the minute details. She was prompt with communications and was accommodating to last minute changes. While DJ'ing for the dancing part of the evening, she was amazing at reading the crowd and playing songs that were sure to get them going. The first dance for the couple only danced to one of the three songs and to top it off it was cut towards the end. They had specifically asked for old Cumbia and all he played was Salsa and Merenge because he had to end up using one of the groomsman's phone. He had forgotten some connection cord and therefore could not use his laptop. He knew he was hired for a wedding and was not prepared. From the very beginning, Steve was full of energy...he was so much fun, and he completely brought the party to life! He has the kind of personality that lights up a room...so lively and kind and he was 100% in sync with everything that we were doing! Steve worked with us every step of the way! He was patient, upbeat, and honestly just a joy to have there! He kept the guests engaged, got people dancing, and was clearly loving what he does, and it showed in every move that he made! He brought in extra lighting to really make the room sparkle, and he gave me a hands-free microphone which was a lifesaver since I was giving the welcome speech and needed my hands free to hold onto the papers that I was reading from! His assistant was also very sweet, and she was right there to help Steve from the beginning to the end of the evening! I met with Ryan, who is professional but also just a cool dude. You can tell he gets it, and is up on the trends in the music and entertainment world. He took me through a whole presentation and explained how all of the wedding could be planned through their portal. The portal makes sure you address all the possible needs of a wedding- cocktail hour, first dances, bouquet tosses, and even if you want to accept requests or not, etc., but it's easy to indicate if you're skipping anything as well. His presentation was thorough and answered all my questions so I booked them the next day. I just went with their 6 hour DJ package, but they also offer longer packages with additional lighting and sound features, uplighting, fabric, photo booths, etc. You could really get a lot taken care of through this company! Although Ryan was not our DJ, the DJ we had (Chris B.) was very good. He played a great mix of songs and lots of people were dancing all night!! The guy never took a break, even though I did plan for him to eat dinner. My only two issues, which really weren't a big deal was that at one point the Christmas song "Silver Bells" came on during cocktail hour, and I promise that was not a song request. The other thing was that a few of our selected dance songs weren't the exact version I expected to here, but it was still the correct song overall so it wasn't a big deal. Don't let the relative lack of Yelp reviews put you off - he knows what he's doing. We met Tim once in person, and once via FaceTime. Each time I left with the impression that he's a person that just *understands* music at a deep level - and that's what you want in a DJ. Someone who can read the room and play the *right* song. We ended up trusting Tim to just play what he thought was right - we gave him a list of songs we liked, but other than that let him pick the music. It turned out to be the right choice - our dance floor was packed for hours, until we turned the lights up and made people leave! Some other things are notable too - Tim was very helpful when picking out a "first dance" song; he was able to provide good music at the very last minute for walking in/out of the ceremony (because we forgot to pick something!). He kept sneaking us drinks whenever he saw we were out. He coordinated a surprise as well - my now-husband sang a song to me on the dance floor. He kept it a secret and worked it in at the right time, and it made the night just that much better. I can't recommend him enough. He made our event so much better than it ever would have been without him!
