First of all the address listed on yelp is wrong, it's on Main Street not north main so yelp had me driving around a residential neighborhood at first (it's just up the street from McDonalds and the post office). I love this place ! Not expected in Bristol but glad it's here. Right when you walk in the owner greet you regardless if they are busy or not. Food was fresh and delicious! I enjoyed the chicken taco with rice and beans which was made fresh to order and had lots of great flavors. I also had the chicken empanada which was one of the best I've tasted. The service was excellent. Even though it was made to order, I received my food quickly. I heard about this place so I wanted to check it out. I went on a Wednesday afternoon, about 1:30. Unfortunately they were out of fried chicken and they were out of rice. BUT...the chicharrones with yuca was great. The chicharrones were crispy and meaty and the yuca was simple but delicious. Just the right amount of food for lunch and very reasonable. I usually don't take stock in most reviews when I visit a place as my experience may differ due to perspective. As for my first time I have to say I was impressed. The food was great from the empanadas con carne, quesadillas and the chicharrones con arroz. I even tried the hot sauce, which has a different level of heat depending on what you try it with. The pork seemed to mellow it, while the empanada seemed to increase the heat. Definitely, well worth the drive. Lastly, the owner is very friendly. read more

Tried this place for the first time today with my wife. The food is just delicious. I had some chicharrón with yuca y guineos. My wife had a quesadilla and a pork belly taco. I am in love with this place. The owner Luis is really friendly and I am glad to see him every time I come in. The pernil (it's a perfectly seasoned, melt in your mouth pulled pork belly) is to die for. I always get a plate of that with rice and beans. I also switch it up and get chicharrones (fried pork belly with crispy skins and fat) with my rice instead of the pernil. For $6, it's the perfect pick me up for lunch. And the wait is shorter than McDonald's on North Main at lunchtime! Lastly, this place- albeit tiny- is very clean. Overall one of my favorite joints in town.
