Shrimp and rice with a side of Balck Beans

I ordered the Shrip and Rice with a side of black beans. The first thing I noticed was how clean this place was when I walked in. The food came out hot and was delicious. They play Latin music in the background, which gave it a nice Latin feel. I really enjoyed my experience and will come back again. Give it a try next time you're in Summit! Certainly better than Legal Seafood!

The best place to eat auténtica Costa The best place to eat authentic Costa Rican food. The food is delicious, the servers are really nice and friendly and the prices are good too! Go there! You won't regret it.

Tried this Latin Bistro out for the first time and was definitely a fan. Food was very flavorful and the staff was very friendly. The wait time was also very reasonable , took about 7-10 minutes max. I had then Costa Rican platter and it was delicious. Comes with grilled chicken covered in sautéed onions, sweet plantain, salad with sliced beets in it, white delicious rice and black beans. Everything was tasty and the only one negative thing I can say is that the sautéed onions were just a bit too salty otherwise great dish. The prices are very reasonable as well, bill was $16.47 for the food, bottle of water and a large coffee. Coffee was also tasty This place is definitely recommended if your craving some authentic styled spanish/Costa Rican dishes.

    Empanada- delicious!

Great empanadas! Come here for lunch or a snack if you're at the park across the street. I also tried sweet corn pancakes and the tongue dish (lengua) with peppers and onions. Personally I don't like the flavor of peppers and onions, but the tongue was very tender and tasty. I was always intimidated to come here because I don't really speak Spanish, but the food is pretty good so don't be shy like me and wait so long to try something new!

Fantastic experience! I'll start with the food. Affordable prices, full of flavor and huge portions. Juan is up front by the register, he takes the orders. He's very jovial, always smiling and polite. John the cook is attentive to my needs, he's the master cook, the one with the magic touch. I'll bring the wife here so she can enjoy this place as much as I do.

10/10 - Truly the best Colombian food around!…read more Sabor de Mi Tierra is absolutely top notch. We've been coming here since the pandemic -- they opened just a week before lockdown, and we supported them with takeout back then. Once we were able to dine in, we've been coming back nonstop ever since. The food is incredible, hands down the best Colombian food in the area (and honestly much better than Noches -- less salty, more flavorful, and always consistent). Everything is on point whether you come for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. My go-to is the carne asada con arepa y queso, and my wife always gets the huevos rancheros. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The service is just as amazing as the food. Every single server is kind, welcoming, and so sweet. Our favorites are Liliana and Jennifer -- total sweethearts. The owner, Carlos, is wonderful too. Every time we walk in, we feel like family. If you're in the area, you have to stop by Sabor de Mi Tierra. Incredible food, incredible people -- highly recommend!

The atmosphere was welcoming and lively. I was greeted promptly by a friendly young lady at the front and she suggested that I try the beef empanadas. They only cost a few dollars so I went ahead and bought two. So as I walked to the car, which was conveniently parked in the lot behind the restaurant, I immediately unwrapped my empanada. At first, I thought it was going to be like other empanadas that I've tried which have a crispy shell however these empanadas are similar in a way, but are very different in texture. These empanadas are a bit softer on the outside and have a denser inside filling which include potatoes and beef and it was quite delicious. I thought I could eat both of them, but after one I was full. I will definitely be back to the restaurant since I'm always in that area and it's literally five minutes from where I live. I can't wait to try other items on their menu.

The meat is perfect and I get that they wanna keep the natural flavors of the meats which is great but they just need a literal tinsy bit of salt. Service is nice but I can't speak for ambiance due to not dining in. For some reason I don't get full off these tacos like when I go to Los tacos in New York. (Try Los tacos!!) Okay the tip review was from 2025 I have been here about 7 times. The tacos taste a bit better but them tortillas man! They only have outdoor seating, and you have to go around the back for the dining area. I liked that they had games on each table (giant uno, giant Jenga) so it seems like a cool spot to meet up with some friends. There was some sort of taco special going on (2 for $8, but add $1 if it's a seafood taco). Here is what we ordered: -Pork belly taco (roasted pork belly, salsa verde, pickled red onion) - definitely my favorite. The pork was so tender and flavorful -Lobster taco - (chilled lobster, chipotle aioli, red onion, corn, avocado, blue corn hard shell) - this was kind of like a lobster salad but I really liked it. I considered ordering another one of these two but I was already full from the additional pork belly taco -Crispy fish taco (panko breaded white fish, lettuce, pico, chipotle mayo, flour tortilla) - this was a solid fish taco -Spicy jerk chicken taco (roasted chicken thigh, mango salsa, crema, pickled onion, guacamole) - this one was my least favorite. The chicken was dry, and it's pretty hard to overcook chicken thigh -Birria burrito lunch special - my husband ordered this one and it was soo dry. Since it said birria, we thought it would have come with consommé, but it didn't. I don't think that would have helped much though. Lunch specials come with your choice of yellow rice & black beans, salad, or fries. He chose fries and they tasted like when you have leftover fries from McDonalds and pop them in the toaster oven the next day (not good) -Chicharron - tough and dry As I mentioned, this spot is a little far for us so I would probably only go back if I was ever in the area for some more pork belly and lobster tacos. But I wouldn't go out of my way to do so. Tip - BYOB

The staff was friendly and offered great suggestions. Although it was very busy on Saturday afternoon, I was happy to find a few seats available with the background music at the perfect, conversational volume. There were several winter specials available, so I decided to try the dulce de leche latte. I really enjoyed it since it was bold and strong, but had a smooth, sweet finish. There were many tasty-sounding latte choices such as horchata, tiramisu, and the golden palms latte, which is made of turmeric. I look forward to trying one of those the next time that I return.

I ordered three fried empanadas (two chicken and one beef). they were okay - the crust is a bit different than I'm used to, but maybe the empanadas I typically have are baked. Also seemed to be more potato than meat in the beef one. The Americano coffee is awful. It gives mostly hot water with a hint of coffee flavor. I tossed it and didn't complain. Granted it's a cafe and not a coffee shop, but it's coffee! They have a plethora of other drinks that may be worth trying, but i will never order coffee here again. The decor inside is nice Also note, this is mostly a beverage and snack place. Very little food on the menu.
