Plus, they had an amazing sale going on with up to 70% of a huge array of items. Would give 4 stars only because the lingerie is a little more basic than it is sexy- more traditional styles and neutral colors. However, there's still beautiful products here at an affordable price (especially for the Upper East Side of New York!) Downstairs is a swim collection, upstairs features a men's collection and women's apparel.

I love this place so much. In the winter, I updated my boring bra collection with the most beautiful, perfect pieces from Azaleas (a five star experience that I previously reviewed). This summer, I got a whole new bathing suit wardrobe - picked up nearly every Hunza G style they had in stock, a couple vitamina bikinis, and that amazing Haight red one piece. I love the selection and they made shopping convenient throughout the last few months. Free shipping and then I utilized the in-store pick ups from the coffee shop next door. Now that the shop reopened, I purchased even more bathing suits (whoops!) and Carly could not have been more patient with me as I tried on approximately 100 different suits (thank you!). A wide range of styles and price points but I also trust Cindy to pick really high quality, well-made pieces which makes it easier to justify paying more for the quality. The customer service I have received here is unparalleled and I feel so grateful to have Azaleas as a neighbor in the East Village. The saleswomen are dressed in cheap looking slutty uniforms that come off like they're trying to cosplay maids and honestly they look bad. The saleswomen looked like they were college students working summer jobs, and they had the knowledge and experience that comes along with that, which is little to nothing. The saleswoman I had was sweet, but terrible at her job. She had no ability to do anything beyond fetching items she was explicitly asked for. No imagination, no suggestions, just weak attempts to upsell $800 items instead of showing me lower priced items I had indicated interest in. My husband had to look around the store and find things to suggest, and remind her to actually bring them to me. This resulted in an experience that was twice as long as it should have been.
