We lost him unexpectedly, and Megan was incredibly compassionate, caring, and thoughtful throughout the entire process. She came to our home to pick him up, performed an examination, and shared her professional thoughts on what may have caused his sudden passing. She carefully wrapped him in a blanket before taking him for the water cremation, which helped bring us comfort during such a heartbreaking time. The entire process was quick, affordable, and handled with exceptional care. The water cremation was beautifully done. His remains were returned in a lovely silk pouch, and we received beautifully crafted paw prints for my husband, myself, and each of our children. We also received a small glass keepsake containing his name and a lock of his fur. As an added touch, there was a packet of wildflower seeds and a scented candle, which was such a thoughtful and meaningful gesture. Overall, we were truly blown away by the level of compassion, care, and attention to detail provided by Companion Crossroads. We are incredibly grateful for the kindness they showed our family and would highly recommend their services to anyone facing the loss of a beloved pet.

They treat both our pets like they're a rabid dinosaur or something. My dog is little and afraid sometimes so instead of treating him properly the vet LITERALLY drug him by his neck and leash out of the room. They called us about our cat and basically told us he was going to die, then we talk to the actual vet and tells us something completely different. They have blind sided us with pay at least 3-5 times. We showed up to pay one visit and it was 700$ extra tha what they quoted us. They refused to give us the paper work the insurance was asking for and were rude about it, never gave us help with insurance. We actually paid over 400$ to visits that shoulda be reimbursed because we spent 3 months trying to get receipts that they literally couldn't figure out. On top of this the front desk is incredibly rude and not there for you help our your pets convenience. Made us feel uncomfortable and ready to leave. They also forgot to give us back multiple items left with our cat and we had to go back to get them, and they threatened to throw them away if we didn't come on their time even though they forgot every single item he came in with. Also made us bring in our cat for an appointment like 4 hours early so they could just keep him in a cage for their convenience. And then they kept him like 3 hours later because people were late. Their mistakes become your problem and they very clearly don't care about you, your financial situation, your pets, or their care. They care about their money and that's it. Do yourself a favor look else where and get your pets to people who care.

I am here to express my unending gratitude for every single employee at the centennial location as well as the Henderson location(where her body was originally transported) for making the worst moment of my life a bit more bearable. From the employees I spoke with that suggested the viewing service while I was hysterically trying to secure peace of mind to Louis who took care of and prepared my baby girl for her final walk home, the compassion shown was nothing short of incredible. With her passing being during the holiday season(12/23) I was not able to have the service until 1/6, exactly 2 weeks after her passing and I was very nervous about how she would look, feel and overall be presented to me. As soon as they opened the door to the bereavement room that was prepared for us an instant cry of relief, she looked just as she did while she was sleeping, so peaceful. I've seen a lot of reviews commenting negatively on prices for this service(and pricing in general) so it's important to me to share just how incredible lasting paws staff made the worst moment of my life. Honestly the cost was such a small price to pay for the experience of being able to touch, kiss, hug my baby girl one last time. So while some may think this is a "money grab on grieving pet parents" I could see(and feel) just how much love and care went into her viewing service by the staff. They bathed her, brushed her and had her prepared on a table with soft blankets and a pillow for her head. Louis did a very thorough job of explaining everything about the cremation process and communicated with me through every step. I brought supplies to make more nose/paw prints but forgot scissors so that I could clip more of her fur, without question the sweet front desk staff provided a pair of scissors and a small plastic bag to keep the clippings in. I had used a euthabag(instead of standard issued plastic bags) that I had sent to all of her loved ones to write sweet final goodbye messages. One of the many reasons I did this was so that whoever was handling her could tell how loved and special she was...Louis made a point to comment on this stating that him and the staff really enjoyed reading the messages on her bag and could feel how loved and special she was. That small seemingly insignificant exchange truly helped my grieving heart so much, just to know she was seen in death the same way as when she was here, so very loved. I had 30 mins with her but of course was offered more time if I felt as though I need it, in fact when Louis came back in to check on us and I had said I was ready, after explaining everything he even confirmed again that I did not need more time. I was given the option to leave and come back when everything was done OR stay in the room dedicated for us while she was being cremated. I opted to stay with her throughout the entire process because I promised her I would be with her until the very end. Once Louis took her to the back I was still able to watch via a tv with a live feed in the bereavement room and Louis even came back in the room to let me know when it was finished and he was going to be opening the door to begin brushing her ashes out so that I may look away if I needed to. I was there from 9am-2:30pm and was able to go home with her and all of her prints and clay paws. I guess I'm leaving this review to sing the highest of praises for lasting paws employees and their viewing service option but also to let any grieving pet parents know: if you're on the fence on whether or not the viewing services is "worth the money" ....it 100% is-being able to kiss her sweet nose one last time was priceless and truly has helped so much with my grieving process. Also I hope Louis sees this and knows how much of a positive impact he made during the worst time of my life and how grateful I am for the care he showed my girl after her passing-He made this whole experience a bit more bearable and really honored my girl.

In the middle of the shock and heartbreak, we found Green Paws Colorado and could not be more grateful for the kindness and compassion they showed us during such a painful moment. Initially, we were considering other options due to cost, but after finding Green Paws through a Google search, we decided to give them a call. From the very first conversation, they treated us with so much empathy, patience, and genuine care. I was extremely emotional on the phone, and they were incredibly thoughtful, even asking whether texting or calling would be easier for us in that moment. Although they typically operate by appointment, they graciously allowed us to come right away. When we arrived, they helped us bring Nero inside and gave us the time and space to say goodbye peacefully. They offered hugs, tissues, drinks, and such a calm, comforting environment. Nothing felt rushed, clinical, or sales-driven. They simply met us with compassion. They carefully walked us through all of the available options without any pressure. We appreciated how transparent and respectful they were about pricing and services. We also learned more about their environmentally friendly hydro/water cremation process, which uses an alkaline process instead of traditional fire cremation. Knowing that Nero's remains would eventually return to nature in a gentle and meaningful way brought us an unexpected sense of peace. What stood out most was how genuine everyone felt. In one of the worst moments for a pet owner, they made an incredibly difficult experience feel softer, calmer, and more manageable. Our hearts rest a little easier knowing our sweet boy was left in such loving hands. 5/5 stars. If you ever find yourself facing the heartbreaking loss of a pet and don't know where to turn, I truly recommend giving Green Paws a call.
