I had an exceptionally good experience with the folks at pet cremation services and I am so grateful. They were empathic and kind without being sappy or trite, which is not easy to do. They answered all my questions, and then more questions, and even made last minute arrangements for me to be able to witness my dog's cremation process, which is not something I knew was an option nor something I knew I needed to do until it was happening. I lost my little dog after 15.5 amazing, best thing that will ever happen to me years together. Being able to stay with her throughout her process of dying- from having an at home euthanasia vet to bringing her to pet cremation myself and being able to watch her actually get cremated - was so important to me feeling like I did right by her, and helped so much in my grieving process.

Shame. Great caring people. Thank you.

All the reviews speak the truth. Five star service for your four legged loved ones. Family run business of pet lovers that want to make sure your family is respected and cared for. I hadn't personally been out to this part of Wheat Ridge before but it was a lovely drive. You may park on the street or in the lot where they have five or six available spots. When I came in to pick up our Bella the front desk woman was extremely kind. Small couch to sit on, bathroom, some literature on grieving and support groups, and a small wall with various urns displayed. Before picking her up my local vet suggested this company. They deal with them for various pickups and gave me the number for Pet Cremation Services. Although it was past business hours PCS walked me through the process and came and picked up our late pup. A small amount of paperwork and in just a few days we were able to pick up the ashes. No one wants to deal with a business or event like this. I have had several family deaths and Pet Cremation Services treated the entire process as if I myself were in need of Cremation. Extremely professional and sympathetic. On site you are able to attend a viewing and even see the Cremation room to ensure your pet it put to rest properly. The standard for pet care services. Thank you.

Linda and Jim were opening their location in Centennial in early May. They were not even finished with construction on their front lobby. Yet, there I was with a sad situation needing a cremation. In spite of everything, they opened their doors for me and helped me in my difficult situation. They were so understanding and kind. They have a location in Wheat Ridge in addition to their Centennial location (6259 S. Troy Cir, Centennial, CO 80111). 303-403-1687 We had to put our girl, Brenna, a 15.5 year old Bedlington Terrier, to sleep 5-3-19. We wanted a private cremation. We are so happy we found Linda and Jim with Pet Cremation Service. Linda and Jim were both so helpful. They have pets also and fully appreciate what a terrible tragedy we feel. We left our girl with them on Friday with cremation planned for Tuesday. Of course, she had to be frozen. So, on Tuesday well before we arrived, they got her out of the freezer to warm up for us. Her sweet little ears were warm and flexible. Her body was warm on the outside. They gave us all the time we needed to hold her and tell her how much we love her. Then, we watched her put in the oven. Everyone needs different things and they made sure we got what we wanted and needed. Linda and Jim were both totally supportive and so very kind. It really doesn't get any better than this. They are both very good at being gentle and making this as easy as possible. We will never forget them. We are grateful to have the ashes of the best dog we ever had. We have more dogs. We know where we will go when their time is up. We highly recommend Pet Cremation Service. Pam and Bob

Today was such a sad day for my husband and I. We had a private service for our baby Cartman this morning. The gentleman that helped us, I believe his name is John, was extremely kind and professional. We truly appreciate the service we received and a special thank you to John K. for outstanding customer service. We highly recommend Pet Cremation Services in Wheat Ridge, Colorado for anyone needing to put their fur babies to rest. Thank you guys for making this difficult time more manageable for us. The way you all treated our Cartman, with such dignity and care means so much to us. He was family, and you made us feel like you cared. Thank you. We love you Cartman! We miss you so much!

I contacted Green Heart Pet Water Cremation and Matt walked me through the process. Feeling at ease that Honey would be handled with respect and the process a lot gentler than the traditional cremation. Honey was adopted from a shelter and given a second chance with me when her original owners passed. My heart is full that Matt had saved some of her ashes in a urn for me, and the rest was sent back to Iowa so her ashes could be scattered with her original owners. Thank you for showing me compassion and re-assurance during a difficult and sad time. I would highly recommend Green Heart.

I am here to express my unending gratitude for every single employee at the centennial location as well as the Henderson location(where her body was originally transported) for making the worst moment of my life a bit more bearable. From the employees I spoke with that suggested the viewing service while I was hysterically trying to secure peace of mind to Louis who took care of and prepared my baby girl for her final walk home, the compassion shown was nothing short of incredible. With her passing being during the holiday season(12/23) I was not able to have the service until 1/6, exactly 2 weeks after her passing and I was very nervous about how she would look, feel and overall be presented to me. As soon as they opened the door to the bereavement room that was prepared for us an instant cry of relief, she looked just as she did while she was sleeping, so peaceful. I've seen a lot of reviews commenting negatively on prices for this service(and pricing in general) so it's important to me to share just how incredible lasting paws staff made the worst moment of my life. Honestly the cost was such a small price to pay for the experience of being able to touch, kiss, hug my baby girl one last time. So while some may think this is a "money grab on grieving pet parents" I could see(and feel) just how much love and care went into her viewing service by the staff. They bathed her, brushed her and had her prepared on a table with soft blankets and a pillow for her head. Louis did a very thorough job of explaining everything about the cremation process and communicated with me through every step. I brought supplies to make more nose/paw prints but forgot scissors so that I could clip more of her fur, without question the sweet front desk staff provided a pair of scissors and a small plastic bag to keep the clippings in. I had used a euthabag(instead of standard issued plastic bags) that I had sent to all of her loved ones to write sweet final goodbye messages. One of the many reasons I did this was so that whoever was handling her could tell how loved and special she was...Louis made a point to comment on this stating that him and the staff really enjoyed reading the messages on her bag and could feel how loved and special she was. That small seemingly insignificant exchange truly helped my grieving heart so much, just to know she was seen in death the same way as when she was here, so very loved. I had 30 mins with her but of course was offered more time if I felt as though I need it, in fact when Louis came back in to check on us and I had said I was ready, after explaining everything he even confirmed again that I did not need more time. I was given the option to leave and come back when everything was done OR stay in the room dedicated for us while she was being cremated. I opted to stay with her throughout the entire process because I promised her I would be with her until the very end. Once Louis took her to the back I was still able to watch via a tv with a live feed in the bereavement room and Louis even came back in the room to let me know when it was finished and he was going to be opening the door to begin brushing her ashes out so that I may look away if I needed to. I was there from 9am-2:30pm and was able to go home with her and all of her prints and clay paws. I guess I'm leaving this review to sing the highest of praises for lasting paws employees and their viewing service option but also to let any grieving pet parents know: if you're on the fence on whether or not the viewing services is "worth the money" ....it 100% is-being able to kiss her sweet nose one last time was priceless and truly has helped so much with my grieving process. Also I hope Louis sees this and knows how much of a positive impact he made during the worst time of my life and how grateful I am for the care he showed my girl after her passing-He made this whole experience a bit more bearable and really honored my girl.

In the middle of the shock and heartbreak, we found Green Paws Colorado and could not be more grateful for the kindness and compassion they showed us during such a painful moment. Initially, we were considering other options due to cost, but after finding Green Paws through a Google search, we decided to give them a call. From the very first conversation, they treated us with so much empathy, patience, and genuine care. I was extremely emotional on the phone, and they were incredibly thoughtful, even asking whether texting or calling would be easier for us in that moment. Although they typically operate by appointment, they graciously allowed us to come right away. When we arrived, they helped us bring Nero inside and gave us the time and space to say goodbye peacefully. They offered hugs, tissues, drinks, and such a calm, comforting environment. Nothing felt rushed, clinical, or sales-driven. They simply met us with compassion. They carefully walked us through all of the available options without any pressure. We appreciated how transparent and respectful they were about pricing and services. We also learned more about their environmentally friendly hydro/water cremation process, which uses an alkaline process instead of traditional fire cremation. Knowing that Nero's remains would eventually return to nature in a gentle and meaningful way brought us an unexpected sense of peace. What stood out most was how genuine everyone felt. In one of the worst moments for a pet owner, they made an incredibly difficult experience feel softer, calmer, and more manageable. Our hearts rest a little easier knowing our sweet boy was left in such loving hands. 5/5 stars. If you ever find yourself facing the heartbreaking loss of a pet and don't know where to turn, I truly recommend giving Green Paws a call.
