They recently posted a litter and I fell in love with 2 of the puppies, Rocket and Ayesha! Knowing that I was going to be traveling a lot over the next few months I left it to date. I told myself that if either was available in January I would get one. Well, low and behold, my female pick was available and I purchased her. Of course I had questions before making my decision and I was in contact with Monica and she answered every question and addressed every concern I had. I decided to get KingFisher's Ayesha and I couldn't be happier. She was a pup from Klondike and Blitz born 9/9/18! Both Mom & Dad were gorgeous!! She is the sweetest dog ever and so insanely smart!! I've had her almost 4 weeks now and she is the perfect addition to our Family!!! When questions come up since I've had her, I texted Monica and she was amazing with her responses and has really made this such an easy process and has totally put my faith in KingFishers!!!! If you are looking for a beautiful, smart, sweet, and well tempered Malamute pup, I would highly suggest you get one from this Family!!

Wasilla Vet does not care about your pet, only their pay!!!…read more They were fully prepared to let my 5 year old Western Siberian Laika, Daisy dog, die unnecessarily! Daisy dog was pregnant and had a miscarriage. Friday her discharge was green/brown. I called Wasilla Vet, where she had been a patient, they couldn't get her in until Tuesday. I called every day to see if they had any cancellations so Daisy dog could be seen. No was all they said with absolutely no concern for Daisy dogs status. Never even asked any questions about how she is doing. Finally Tuesday came and upon an examination the Dr diagnosed Daisy dog with Pyometra. Said she needed surgery immediately or she won't survive. Dr said she only has days to live in the condition she is in. Actually told me "she'll be lucky to make it until Friday". I tried to schedule the surgery, but their calendar was full. Said they can 'squeeze' her on Friday morning. I reminded them that they just told me she will be dead by Friday. "There is nothing we can do until Friday" is what I was told. I begged them to bump another less emergent surgery and they informed me thay cannot do that. Told me if I want it done sooner I'll need to call an ER vet. I called, they charge $5000 for the same $1600 surgery. That's out of my budget and Wasilla Vet was well aware of that. They wished me the best, said they hope Daisy dog makes it until Friday and sent us on our way. I called numerous vets pleading for help! Finally Faith at Bering Sea Animal Clinic in Chugiak heard my cry, understood the severity of the situation and went above and beyond to get Daisy dog the life saving surgery she needed. She got her into the clinic at 6:30 Wednesday morning. As in the very next day. I will be switching my pets to Bering Sea Animal Clinic and I highly recommend you do the same! Don't let your pet be a victim of Wasilla Vets carless greed!

But we did want to check out the volunteer possibilities. Super friendly staff and a very organized volunteer process. All the dogs we visited were wagging tails and looking at us expectedly! Certainly worth adopting!! Their faces were so cute. I wanted to take them all home. The two volunteers we engaged in conversation were supreme-o. They were happy, smiling, and upbeat in a way in which it seems they really enjoyed their work. I cannot speak to the adoption process or costs, but it seems like it would run smooth. They have several rooms where dogs can go to meet and greet with potential adopters. I'm not sure about outdoor spaces or how you have your present dogs meet a potential foster sister or brother. I'll make sure to get clarification on that next time.

Creating an invariant for the staff not having to earn their wage out-waying over the animals best interest is applying.

I immediately called the vet when they opened, they were able to get me in later that day. Once I arrived Dr. Sept took my pup onto the table and gave him a full exam. He then put some dye into his eye and we were able to see he had an ulcer. Dr. Sept let me use the tools to see the ulcer for myself, explained what is was and how to treat it. My visit prior to that I brought both dogs in to get shots updated - I worked with the vet assistant, she was beyond friendly, updated their records and gave me a record book for each dog. After getting shots, Dr. Sept gave both dogs a quick exam to ensure they were happy and healthy. Dr. Sept is the only vet I will take our dogs too! So happy I found him!

I checked with Tier 1, considered by many to be the most modern and best vet practice in the area, and their estimate was $800-$2,000 less. In addition, they have numerous rehabilitative services that are available for a better recovery. I also was angered to find Bering Sea sedated my dog after he had come out of anesthesia to get an x-ray for diagnosis because he was "making too much noise." That's unacceptable. I offered to pick him up soon after he emerged from anesthesia but was told mid-afternoon was fine as I had an early afternoon lunch date. And, then they sedate him because I don't come right away. I now will be getting my vet care at Tier 1.
