Called for a flower delivery the day before. Not only were they delivered in an extremely timely fashion, but the arrangement surpassed my expectation. Price was very fair. Would recommend and definitely use them again. read more

Requested the photo with the flowers all in one plane with just a few less flowers to fit my budget of $100.. and received this..stapled In clear wrap where you could not see the yellow roses at all. All you could see was a dried up sunflower and the white roses. I tried to rewrap the clear into this brown paper hoping I could open up the bouquet more but the flowers were tightly bound and there was no fixing it in the short time that I had. I specifically asked for the big bouquet to look like the picture and got something completely different. When it was delivered, I made sure that it was fine to pay with check only because I wanted to tip the owners daughter for bringing it over to me and I only had $100 cash. She told me the check was totally fine. I also gave the owner six butterflies to add to the bouquet like the picture shown. Instead she only added two butterflies and did not give me the rest back, she just kept them. Two days later I get a call from the owner and she's telling me that she cannot cash my check even though she cashed four others before.. she came at me aggressively and demanded a credit card. My brother-in-law gets flowers from this shop time to time and the owner knew this..yet she continued to get rude with me as if I wasn't going to pay her. She told me that they don't accept checks so she doesn't know why I gave it to her.. even though on the phone she told me she already cashed four other ones that went thru..I confirmed right away if check was fine or else I wouldn't have given it to her as payment. I think that she should've spoken to her daughter about this before she spoke to me the way she did... I was super upset with the bouquet and wish she told me that she couldn't do it how I wanted it to come out.. instead she kept saying that this is how they normally do the flowers. These flowers were supposed to be for my sisters engagement really big event. I was super disappointed, especially with the customer service and being treated as if I wasn't trying to pay. I'm a local and also a first responder and I honestly felt pretty disrespected by this woman..She told me she wasn't going to charge any credit card fee over the phone yet she ended up charging me an extra $8 and change. I'm still waiting for her to return my check .. it's been three days when she told me she would return it as soon as possible. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this service after my poor experience, I will not be ordering from her again. read more

I called days ahead to ensure everything would go smoothly and brought my own vase to save some $ and prevent having to accrue more vases at home. I was told the vase would work and I would get a call the following day to confirm cc and address for delivery. No call. No call the day before, no one responded to me either. I got anxious because the day the flowers were supposed to be delivered came and I hadn't even gotten word from Janine asking for my address or cc verifying that they Would Be delivered! I had no idea when deliveries normally went out, if I should stay home, it was a mess. Poor communication/ none at all. Then I got just a quick text asking for my address saying they'd be delivered shortly. That left me wondering if she forgot to bill me. Maybe I would get to see what I was paying for before I paid but luck didn't go my way and I got a call asking for my credit card to charge $87 for this bouquet that was supposed to be big and colorful before delivery. Now I rushed to put together a card because these flowers were on behalf of my grandmother. If only Janine had asked before writing that little flat shop card I wouldn't have had to do that. But again, no communication. Just- what's your credit card number and there they are. So when my parents got the flowers they thought they were from us (that's what Janine wrote on the card) anddd it was a whole big mix up. Pretty sure my grandmother would NOT be pleased with these flowers. They died in a day. This is a picture of the initial bouquet. Janine did replace the original after I told her they died in a day however she replaced it quite a small bouquet- for $87 ... use your own judgement. Janine is nice though. read more

I wanted to purchase a bouquet of flowers for my aunt. I live out of state. Laskas was in the top florists for her area, so I called and made an order easily and quickly. The woman who helped me was thorough and gave me a great price for same-day flowers and delivery. That's unheard of here in California. When she asked me what kind of arrangement I was thinking about, I gave her the colors and the word "fall." She nailed it! I wanted something with deep, dark violets and not your typical fall arrangement. My aunt LOVED the flowers, and the arrangement is GORGEOUS. Thank you, Laskas! I'll be back again. read more

I needed four single roses to give as gifts, which I've done many times before, and this time I tried Laskas, whom I remember from when they had a brick & mortar store in town. I described what I wanted, which included a water thingy on each stem to keep them fresh. I was told they'd cost $6 each, which is what I'm usually charged by other florists. I came by to pick them up, but they had no water thingys. OK, it happens, not the end of the world. Now, several days later, I get a credit card charge for $30, which I assumed was a result of being mistakenly charged for five roses instead of four. Again, no biggie, spit happens. When I just called them to explain what happened, I was told it was for tax, which would make sense if that amounted to $2.00, not $6.00. More disturbingly, I got attitude, like I was being the pain in the a**, instead of a little customer courtesy, like "no problem, it was a simple error, we were really busy, I'll take care of it, etc." I always strive to support our local businesses here in town - where I've lived for 30 years - so this was especially disappointing. It would have been so easy to make this right and create a customer for life, but instead, I'll never buy from these guys again, much less refer them to any of my neighbors. read more

I like to look up local businesses when I'm sending a gift to someone, like flowers. I looked up this florist and read the reviews, the story behind the business, and checked out the website. It looked like a winner, so I called and placed an order from out of state. I spoke to a friendly voice on the phone and placed my order.
