Do not book this florist for your wedding. This is literally the first time I've ever written a…read morereview but I would hate for what happened to me to happen to another bride and felt I had to do what I could to make sure that didn't happen. There were issues both leading up to the wedding and on the day of. A few weeks beforehand, we had a scheduled meeting with her to go over the flowers and final details, and she just didn't show up. We didn't hear from her for hours. When we finally did hear from her, she barely apologized and said that she was so busy with deliveries. The crazy part is that she is the one who offered that time as an option. Why offer a time that does not work for you? Then on the actual wedding day, the flowers were hours late. She arrived at the venue without even having all of the boutonnieres finished and had to make the rest of them there. On top of that, she had told our venue that she was "on the way" when she actually wasn't. She never apologized for being late (or lying about being on the way) and blamed it on one of her staff being out sick and her having to do deliveries. In my opinion, you shouldn't commit to doing flowers for a wedding if the entire operation crumbles when one person calls out sick. People call out sick! There needs to be a backup plan and there clearly wasn't. What really pushed me over the edge was how everything was handled afterward. I called her to talk about what happened and she answered the phone and was immediately defensive and combative before I even said one word. When I asked if it would be possible to receive some sort of partial refund could be given considering the issues we had, she literally called me "insane" for asking for a refund. She changed her story many times about what happened and why and when I pointed that out, she would just ignore me and change the subject. She also bragged about how much money she makes being a referred vendor for our venue so she did not care about my dissatisfaction in service as she said they would never take her off their list. I honestly couldn't believe I was being spoken to that way by someone we had hired and trusted for our wedding. I wasn't asking for everything to be perfect. Things happen, especially on wedding days. But between missing our meeting, the lack of communication, being late, showing up with unfinished boutonnieres, and then the way I was spoken to afterward, the whole experience was really not ok. Last but certainly not least, she offered to send us free flowers on the one month, two month, three month etc. anniversary of our wedding date for 6 months. The one month anniversary of our wedding was yesterday, and to no one's surprise, we did not receive any flowers.

I saw a grand opening sign on Post Ave and I like to support local businesses so i went inside and was greeted by the nicest, friendlist staff even though they were busy. I told her I needed something for my wife and what my budget was and she told me to come in later. When I returned I was astounded and thought I had made a mistake and ordered a bouquet out of my budget. Surprisingly it was what i asked for in my budget and I when I got home my wife was thrilled. It lasted for a while too! I now come here for all the major holidays and gift flowers often knowing that they make a great impression coming from Mickis and I don't break the bank.
