Tim's Florist did an amazing job on my wedding! They provided 16 centerpieces, small vases with baby breath for an outdoor cocktail hour, and bouquets/corsages for 18 people. On top of that they perfectly executed greenery wrapped around the interior of our cocktail hour tent. Their prices were unbeatable and they handled everything very efficiently. Hard to believe it's been a year since our wedding. We got lucky and got married just before Covid shutdowns. Tim's Florist was amazing. The Chuppah, arrangements, bouquets, and all decorations at the ceremony looked perfect. We had over 200 guests, and decided to do half tall arrangements, half short arrangements on the tables at the reception. We honestly couldn't have been happier with the way everything came out. The ladies at Tim's worked with me on some smaller, last minute floral touches for my wedding, and a tulle draping over our dance floor for the reception. They were so kind and helpful, it was an absolute pleasure to deal with them, even near the end of wedding planning when you really need things to fall into place nicely. Best Florist I never went in to. I have been using this place for a couple of years almost exclusively for funerals... I know, that may sound morbid but it turns out I have a lot of family in the area Tim's is located in and- well you can put two and two together right? They do a fabulous job - they ask a few questions about the dearly departed and we come up with a plan and it is always delivered perfectly. "spring bo'kay" If you're on a time budget, Tim's might not be the place for you. They do lovely arrangements on the fly just not in warp speed. We stopped here once to grab a bouquet for a friend and took a risk by double parking. Needless to say we were fine but I was definitely getting some looks. I'm honestly upset. I have been going to this florist for years. But I think this last experience has turned me away for good. I always try to support my local businesses especially now during the pandemic. This is my wife's first Mother's Day and I really could not go shopping for her, but the florist being open so I was happy. I ordered an arraignment from their site over a week ago. When I received it this morning although pretty, it was so small compared to as described. The size was even smaller than the smallest size and I requested the premium. I immediately returned it and they made a new one. The replacement although bigger was only due to filler flowers and was sloppy. I was told I was lucky I wasn't turned away because they are low on flowers. I just want to say I'm very understanding. If they would have apologized and said "I'm sorry we over booked" or " we did not receive as many flowers as promised due to the pandemic" and we "had to make due with what we had" and offered to discount the order or even give me a store credit this review would not exist and I would return. But the flowers I received for the price I paid feels like a robbery. I've seen a nicer arraignment in a grocery store. Look at the photos. The first attached photo is the original arraignment sized compared to an i phone 10. The second and third with the tape measure is the replacement. And the professional photo is what was promised. Please DO NOT use this florist for anything. They took flowers from a funeral home without permission, dismantled them, and were going to try to REUSE the flowers that my family had purchased for our great aunts funeral. We found this out when we ARRIVED at the funeral home to find our loved one's casket bare. After almost an hour of calling around (during the wake) we finally found that Tim's Florist had taken the flowers. Tim's Florist DID NOT create the flower arrangement and should have never had their hands on it. They took an arrangement from a funeral home that they DID NOT ORIGINALLY CREATE, dismantled it, and were going to try to resell the flowers for a profit before it even had the chance to grace the coffin of the person they were bought for. IN ADDITION TO THIS another relative ordered flowers for the wake, originally from Tim's, we had 2 wake time 2-4 and 7-9 and the flowers did not arrive till the last 25 minutes of our last session (8:33 p.m. specifically). Throughout trying to rectify this situation we were meant with contempt, finger pointing, and INCREDIBLE UNPROFESSIONALISM. I would greatly encourage anyone thinking of using this florist to try a different company. Every other florist that was used to send flowers to us in Massapequa were capable of delivering and setting up their flowers with no issue. Please use someone else. read more

I ordered a standing spray of pink flowers I went according to their description which said at least four and more of assorted pink flowers. I chose the Deluxe model. It was $162. When I got to the funeral parlour I was so embarrassed. It was 16 light pink carnations. That was all!!!! I called Tim's and told them I was unhappy. Recently had flowers sent to my elderly mom thru Teleflora which gave the order to Tim's Florist. The delivery driver claimed no one was home so he gave the flowers to a neighbor. The neighbor kept the flowers and when I inquired thru Teleflora as to what happened to my mom's flowers they launched an investigation. Tim's Florist had the driver retrieve the flowers from the neighbor and leave them on my mother's doorstep 2 days later! My mom should've gotten a new bouquet not one that was sitting in someone else's house for 2 days because of their driver's mistake! Very shoddy business practice here! Beware! read more

Gail majorly bungled my wedding flowers, which is pretty sad considering I had only a few and simple requests. The first was that we were promised that someone would be present at the hotel to affix the groom's mens' boutinares - there wasn't anyone. I requested no greens showing in the bridesmaids bouquets and not only was there plenty showing they looked like a blind kindergarten class pinned them together and we couldn't use them for half our wedding pictures. I asked for two white arrangements for the church with no greens, got greens. Probably important to add I was assured up and down oh no problem this is so easy we can do this in our sleep. Last but not least I asked for red rose petals for the church but instead got peach, white, pink. So thanks Gail for literally doing the opposite of everything you said you'd do when we booked Tims Florist! read more

Flowers were never a high priority on my wedding list. I wanted simple lantern centerpieces with a small ring of flowers around it. When Tim's was recommended to me by my best friend who used them last November, she had nothing but great things to say about them! Gail and her sister, Susan, run the shop together and they are definitely a dynamic duo! I mostly worked with Gail in my experiences but Susan was also very friendly and helpful! I told Gail what my vision and budget was and she was able to bring that vision to life without going a penny over budget! I was able to come in for a sample of my centerpiece before solidifying that decision which was so helpful and put my mind at ease! The day of the wedding, the delivery man brought all the bouquets and boutonnieres to me first to make sure everything looked nice and was accounted for, then he brought the remaining flowers to the groom's getting ready place. Every single centerpiece was gorgeous and we got so many compliments on how simple and elegant they were! I had given Gail some extra lanterns so she displayed them around the venue so they wouldn't go to waste! What a great idea! We worked with Gail (an amazing woman and owner) to create our custom bouquets for myself, my bridesmaids, and the boutonnieres and corsages. Her prices were absolutely fine, and the flowers were GORGEOUS! Gail delivered our flowers on time in water, and they stayed alive and vibrant throughout the entire day, (it was the hottest day of the summer so far) and for days later in a vase of water. the worst!!!!! make sure every detail is in writing. just don't leave with your credit card receipt. they know the law better than you!!!! my godmother passed away in august of 2011. she really took over the roll of my mom. i wanted to do something wonderful for her because my aunt was such a big part of my life. i went to tim's florist. karen took the order and gail made the arrangement. obviously, there is a disconnect between the two! i ordered a 36 inch open heart, any greenery but no fern, on a 7 ft. stand. i got a 18 inch open heart, with 7 inches of fern all around, on a 5 ft. stand. the piece was so small that my family thought the flowers were from my young daughters. this was not what i ordered!!!! how sad i was to see that sight and also, so embarrassed!!!! money was no question. i just wanted something different, tasteful and loving, as my aunt was. i called immediately and spoke with gail via cell phone at 2:15 p.m. after the first minutes of viewing. i explaned my dissatisfaction and she rudely replied, "there"s nothing she could do!" then gail received a letter from citibank dispute division. part of gail's letter states and i quote her," mrs.c. called me after the funeral was over. she was not happy with the item she choose. but after a funeral is over, there is really nothing you can do. if she had called me during the furneral, we would have tried to fix any problem she had with the order, but after the deceased is buried, what are we supposed to do???? it seems convenient to me that mrs. c. complained after the fact, when there is nothing that can be done, and she expects her entire order refunded." unquote!!!! the problem is ,i did call!!!! fifteen minutes after i walked into the furneral home.
